Went to location as a family get-away. The views were breathtaking, who knew we would find such peace so close to home. Literally sat on the couch and stared outside for hours. The home was small enough to enjoy each other's company but large enough to allow everyone the time and space to do their own thing. The price was more than reasonable and we can't wait to return.

We enjoyed staying here The place was just as peaceful and relaxing as we hoped I would definitely recommend and stay here again if ever in town again

Responsive and communicative via AirBnb app. Open to small changes we had to make. Beautiful house and wonderful neighborhood. Everything as described and reasonable price. Truly provided the BnB part of AirBnb with linens, cleaning/cooking supplies, and bathroom supplies. Very scenic. The pictures don't do it justice when it comes to the proximity of the dock. It is right outside the window of the master bedroom.

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

Wonderful little A frame beach cabin feel. Timothy is very helpful and responsive. We did the dogfish dash and was the perfect little place to stay the night before our run. There is only 1 bathroom which wasn’t ideal in the morning for 4 people, but everything else is amazing!! Highly recommend :)

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at this location while I was working in the area. The house was very clean and had a great view of the river. I loved the area and all of the amenities that she had in the home. Would definitely return.

We needed a place to chill and unwind and this was it! Not much to do this time of year but we didn't care. We loved every minute of our time on the island. Everyone was so friendly and we felt right at home. Beautiful sunsets and delicious catered meals. Thank you!!!

A beautiful home with space for several people, close to the water and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. Clean and tidy with a coastal charm, pet friendly is an extra bonus! Owners were very supportive and communicative.

Linda was a great host! She explained everything in detail about the property and surroundings. The property had amazing views (we thought it looked even better in person than in photos). The house was spotless and kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed. Both the grill and blackstone had gas in the tanks (we’ve been to places with empty grill cylinders). If you’re looking for somewhere that’s laid back, cozy, and has a private beach, this is the place! Thank you Linda!

This was our second visit to Mallard Cottage for my husband and I. Just like our previous stay, this is the perfect mix of serenity from the water view and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking some wonderful meals. A. J. and Lindsey remain very helpful and responsive, which ensures peace of mind.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Remote but WiFi worked great. We were looking for cozy and relaxing and it delivered!

The cabin and property are amazing! We had total privacy and our German Shepherd was able to just relax right along with us humans. Teresa really does think of everything anyone could need for supplies, and then some! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation getaway.

Peaceful stay out on the water. There was a lots of great state parks near by too. The home was stylish, clean and peaceful 🙂

We spent a quiet and serene weekend at this place celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. I liked the decor, the furniture were all extremely comfortable, and the view was amazing of course. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook a simple meal. I liked that oils and spices were provided in addition to coffee and tea. We enjoyed the outdoor space to have a campfire. (while sitting on the back deck looking out at the bay and night skies) We were also able to enjoy use of the tandem kayak and would recommend that to those who come as the creek was so smooth and fun to be on the water looking at nature and beautiful houses. Can definitely kayak to Vera's restaurant though return trip may take longer due to water current. We really enjoyed our long weekend and would recommend this location to others or come back ourselves.

Spent the weekend up here for a quick getaway. It’s a beautiful cabin - location is great, it’s very quiet, and it was the perfect place to escape life for a couple of days. Loved it!!

We absolutely love this spot! Second time here and it’s the perfect mix of family friendly and peaceful for the parents. Kids could hang downstairs or near the pier while we relaxed in the family room and screened in porch. Can’t say enough about this home away from home!

Had a great one-night stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive. Perfect for a peaceful getaway—would book again!
