I have been impressed by Janice's prompt responses to my messages and her remarkable kindness. The place is comfortable and clean, making it an ideal stay. The kitchen is particularly noteworthy, as it is situated near the beach and has a complete set of utensils. Furthermore, there is a nearby calendaria and restaurant. We enjoyed convenient access to transportation, including tricycles and habal-habal. The local people were exceptionally friendly and kind, offering us additional insights about the area. The stay was fantastic, really high quality property, lots of space and very comfortable. Perfect base to explore Leyte/ Ormoc. Private off street parking is brilliant. Jennifer was a really excellent host!

The place is great for a large group

Our stay was very enjoyable. Plenty of space for gathering with our group and also for retreating when privacy was desired. The private pool was a great source of fun! (Love the lighting at night) A nice, large home conveniently located in the city. Plenty of dining options. The locals were very friendly and accommodating. One highlight for us was taking surfing lessons from a local surfer: the beach was beautiful and the experience was awesome. The only slight critique would be the low water pressure. It will not keep me from booking again in the future but it would be nice if that could be improved. Without hesitation I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in Borongan.

Sun and Sea is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The location is breathtaking, with stunning sea views and a peaceful ambiance. The accommodations were spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped for a perfect stay. The host went above and beyond, offering great local tips and ensuring every detail was just right. We loved sipping coffee on the terrace at sunrise and strolling along the nearby beach. The amenities, including the pool and lush gardens, made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a serene and luxurious getaway, Sun and Sea is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

It was a nice place. Clean and very big ang area. Perfect for big groups who want to stay together and celebrate. Also nice to unwind at the pool area.

The beach villa is superb not just the facilities - gorgeous view, nice garden, lovely indoor/outdoor family room and delightful bedrooms, but the team on hand cooking and cleaning is absolutely thoroughly attentive and caring. What is more Mark himself gives great suggestions for local visits and attractions, helps organise logistics and really considers a visitor’s needs. The whole team is attentive, flexible and keen to please. They cook up a storm of fantastic local and western cuisines and take feedback into consideration. We had a fantastic stay and will happily return for another relaxing family holiday!

Ms. Susan and her Co-Worker Mr. Glen were extremely helpful on any and everything from money exchange, to places to explore, to transportation, to repairs if/ when needed to etc. etc. etc. I had a nice view of the ocean and the thunder/ lightning on the night(s) when it rained. The place holds 10 person, so (3) solid beds, a futon, a cot, and floor mattresses. It has washer for clothes which helped put a lot, all the kitchen supplies you need to cook with fresh market approx. 15 min walk (3 min grab) and or grocery store approx 3 min walk. Small gym but was able to do everything I needed and a big pool. 🤙

Very beautiful, quiet place outside the city. The owners helped us with transport and met us upon arrival. Many thanks to them for their hospitality, we felt at home. Our children loved splashing in the pool and riding horses. Fresh lemons and coconuts from the palm trees were delicious. The rooms are very clean and cozy, the air conditioning did a good job of keeping the room cool. At night you can admire the stars, sit by the fire and listen to the sounds of night birds and crickets. Our whole large group really enjoyed our stay at Wild Wild Pigs, we hope to visit again.

初めてAirbnbを利用させてもらって上手く利用できるか不安でしたがとても素敵な時間になりました。 ▪️遅めの便だったのでセルフチェックインはすごく助かりました。 ▪️お部屋は綺麗に整頓されていてゴミ捨ても自由にできたので綺麗が保てた ▪️家族5人(11,8,5歳子ども含む)で過ごせるようにリビング側もソファーベッドを用意してくれていた。 ▪️プールも受付にいうだけで簡単に利用できました。 ▪️周辺は近代化されている地域のようでセブ島の中ではいわゆる都会なのかな？と思います。セブンイレブンもあるしレストラン、コインランドリー、タピオカ、ドーナツ、薬局物に困ることはなく当たりでした。 そして何より管理者の方がとても親切、親身になって接してくれました。 ▪️連絡を取ると必ずすぐ返信をくれる ▪️何か困ってないか、出来ることはないかときづかってくれる とても優しく安心できる管理者の方でした。 ▪️空港からの道順がタクシーの運転手に上手く伝わらなかった時 ▪️停電になってしまいすぐ復旧後もまだ使えない部分があると言ったらすぐに技師を呼んでくれました。 (これは私が無知なだけで騒いでしまっただけですが､､､) こんなハプニングも旅はつきもの。 ホテルとは違う滞在を選択するのに人とのコミュニティケーションは大切だと思います。今回は大当たりでした。 また機会があればよろしくお願いします。ありがとうございました。

Great location! Walkable to restaurants and grocery, very convenient!

It's the first ever Airbnb in Mactan Newtown that I stayed that's cleaned and has hot shower, and it doesn't have funky smell like other units I stayed there. And they provide aerosol spray, to keep the surroundings smell good. Complete with shampoo and soaps. Downside is they don't have Netflix account if you want to just chill inside the room and wifi sometimes weak, but during our stay we're mostly out of the unit so it's okay, other than that it's all good.. Will be back there someday.

Alex and his wife are beautiful people and really want your stay to be wonderful. I loved staying here. It is a short taxi or drive to local restaurants and bars.

Philip was very responsive and proactive. There was supposedly a power interruption on March 30 and he offered to have us booked on a nearby hotel so we can still enjoy our stay comfortably at no extra cost. Good thing it was postponed. We did not really have big plans and we just want to stay home because of how homey the place was. Kudos to Sir Philip for making sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you! Looking forward to the next booking!

We had a wonderful stay at Shane's place. The location was perfect, it was close to Robinsons place, shops and just along the highway. The compound is big enough to accommodate four cars. The place is clean, cozy and well-maintained when we arrived. Beds are comfy, essential kitchen utensils are available and wifi is fast. We had few request from the hosts and they were very kind to accommodate them. We used the place as headquarters for our Bar Operations and we never had issues in the property during our stay. We hope to book it as headquarters again for next year!

the house is cozy and comfortable, and quite close to a main road, a 7/11 and a pharmacy. the bedroom is fresh, comfy and decorated in a style coherent with the one chosen for the living room, with a pleasant color pattern basend on the contrast between orange and tiel, or a very light blue. the place has style, and the host is open to accomodations

Maureen's place is a gem in a location without a lot of options. My wife's family lives in Danao and we struggle every year trying to find decent & reasonably priced accomodations. The space was as described. Great view off the balcony. Living room had a small TV and a portable fan. It could get a little uncomfortable if you weren't used to the heat. The bedroom had Aircon and it worked fantastic. As a result, we spent most of our time in the bedroom. Kitchen was stocked with everything you might need. Fridge worked great. Maureen does stock the space with drinking water which doesn't seem to be so common at BNBs in the Philippines this year. Bathroom was satisfactory and the hot water worked good. Water pressure wasn't so great but that's pretty normal and something were used to by now. Maureen was very responsive, going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, we were happy with and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Andi was very responsive and when we arrive at the property, he made sure that were settled. The place was clean, it's just walking distance to the beach. We are having a good time staying at Andi's place.
