A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Hilary’s lake Retreat is the perfect place ! We have stayed here three summers in a row and love it . Tom and Patty are excellent hosts and we can’t say enough good about it !

Barbara and Thomas’s apartment was perfect for us. Great location, wonderful views and just steps to the downtown galleries and restaurants. Communication was excellent and we were provided with all the instructions and helpful local information before we arrived. Check in was simple and the apartment was exactly as described and had everything we needed. One recommendation, get up early to watch the sunrise off the deck. We were lucky enough to see a whale in the calm early morning water, just off the breakwater, close enough that we didn’t need the binoculars at all. A wonderful experience!

A pristine and well-equipped retreat in charming Eastport, Maine! We stayed in early December and the holiday decorations are up along Water Street. We loved the sunny morning light in the dining area and comfortable living room. Thoughtful details include soft throws and options on terms of coffee makers! Thank you for a great stay!

Joann's, place is one of the best places on the island, clean, quiet and peaceful, we'll put together she put a lot thought in Making you feel comfortable. Lots of instructions and go beyond leaving little things in the unit given that there's not a lot ooptions on the island...LOVE THE SPOT.

Excellent stay! We were visiting family in the area and Laura's place was perfect. Lovely setting right on the water. The apartment is clean and fresh, The design is warm but minimalist and quite spacious. It was easy to prep our breakfasts in the mornings and we found some amazing hiking trails about 6 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot in Maine for a quick overnight trip. Very clean and very accessible to many great towns and beaches. Thank you!

What a unique property and enclave of cabins and houses. Sunsets like no other and beautiful topography. Rossport By the Sea is a unique location with amazing ocean and meadow views, and interesting and creative common outbuildings. Ocean Bay cottage was comfortable and uncluttered with lots of privacy. Herons galore on the shore. Ross is an interesting & hospitable host. We hope to return.

Quaint does not begin to describe this lovely place. A great experience throughout and the tips from the owners regarding things to do and see made the trip even better.

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

David & Heather’s place was excellent for our family gathering. The house is very clean and well appointed. Location was very close to town, an easy walk away. Highly recommend.

The house met all our needs. It is in a great location to explore the area with some of the sites even being easily walkable from the house. (If you go during the summer season, be sure to go to the pizza place just a 2 minute walk from the house!) It is in a quiet location, so it was a nice place to relax after siteseeing. We all (kids included) felt comfortable there. I loved how they had throw blankets for the couch; made it feel even cozier and welcoming. Everything was easy to find in the kitchen, and it had all the staples. We were able to seemlessly "move in" and quickly begin enjoying our trip.

This home is just lovely. The town is very small and you need to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest "large" town to get groceries of any consequence. That being said, get what you need ahead of time and just enjoy the GORGEOUS surroundings. A marvelous place to decompress. There is no TV and no radio reception which we loved. We were able to buy lobster right off a boat and everything you need to cook and eat them is provided. I very much like that the shower has what you need in neat push button bottles mounted on the wall. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Can't say enough about the spectacular views. Watching the lobster/fishing boats go in and out and hearing the rumble of the engines was great. The home is close enough that you could use it for your base to visit Acadia Nat Park. Don't miss going to Winter Harbor. Small but some good art, good coffee shop, and a super general store. You can also catch a ferry over to Bar Harbor from there.

Place was exactly what we were looking for and even better. My wife is already planning on returning.

We loved the beautiful views from almost every window! The house was roomy and clean and worked well for 6. The yard was large, but had goose droppings on it. There was a beautiful town beach called Sandy River Beach a 5 minute drive down the road! And Robert had sand toys and chairs at the house. The property has a practically private beach down a stair/walkway and I loved going to it, but it had sea worn glass on it, so not so good for swimming. My kids still jumped in during high tide. (The glass is mostly at the low tide level.)

We loved our stay at the House of Dreams; it was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the cove. Jason and Aimee left us some thoughtful treats, and the home was beautifully decorated. It was fun perusing the library including great info on the local flora and fauna. The beach was only a few steps away and it was so restful to hear the ocean and hunt for treasures on the beach. We would definitely love to return!
