This was a wonderful place in such a beautiful part of Maine. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed getting away and having time to ourselves. It was nice being close to nature and being able to take a break. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about staying!

This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! Host was very nice and responsive, the cabin was in excellent shape, quiet and peaceful . Did not expect the owners of the property to also own a restaurant down the road, which completely blew us away with the food, atmosphere and service. I would definitely recommend someone to come check this place out!

This was our third time at Ocean Spray. The cabin was cozy, clean and as described in the listing. Cathy, the host, is friendly and is responsive. The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway and surrounded by nature. The sunsets are beautiful and The Milky Way Galaxy is visible on a clear night. Amazing spot in a beautiful location!

The cabin is rustic, but it has everything you need for a pleasant and easy stay. The cabin was clean, the bed was very comfortable and warm, the bathroom has plenty of warm water. The heater was enough to keep the cabin warm. We travelled with our pet and she was very comfortable throughout the entire stay. The location is excellent! The farm is beautiful and has several trails to hike and enjoy the scenery. The area is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of fresh air. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from town, where there are plenty of good restaurants and friendly locals. It is also very close to the Roque Bluffs State Park. We had a very pleasant stay and Lisa was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay in Meddybemps! The autumn colors were spectacular and we spent all three days in the area exploring Moosehorn- which was a delight! We appreciated the great cookware, super comfortable bed, cozy cabin atmosphere and the beauty of the lake! The cabin was perfect for our family of three - and thank you for being dog friendly!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We came up for a friend’s wedding and loved the area so much we are already talking about coming back next year. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. View was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

3 bedroom 2 bath cottage in the woods, well heated with excellent internet. A fantastic value for the nightly rate. I highly recommend it.

The cabin is great! The scenery is beautiful. We spent most of our time out on the deck watching for seals and enjoying the birds. We only had a few questions about the cabin and John responded quickly and in a friendly fashion. I felt the description of the cabin matched the reality. It was a great place to unwind. We hope to stay there again.

Kathy’s place was ideal for our trip to the area. Our third trip to the residence should be enough said.

We had a great time staying at Bob's place. There were ample beds for our large group, a well-stocked kitchen, and cozy living room to spend time together. We enjoyed walking down to the lake and the beautiful views! Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect getaway-Campobello is a low key, quiet place-not a lot of eateries, but I know the area and didn’t expect that. Fabulous setting, deck with views, seals, eagles, tides. Read 3 books in 6 days! Fully equipped cottage/kitchen. No wifi but that's fine too. Loads of dvds to watch on a nice big screen…
