We had a lovely family weekend away at Scott’s place, the place was lovely and clean & Scott was on hand to answer any questions we had. The hot tub and games room were a really lovely bonus and enjoyed by all of us would definitely recommend this place but as other reviews also say the stairs are something to be aware of they are narrow and steep more like climbing a ladder in our opinion although we managed fine! We didn’t find our bed the most comfortable but I think that’s down to personal preference & the only other thing I could note is that the kitchen is very well equipped but had no empty cupboard to be able to put food away (again wasn’t a problem just personal preference) thanks for an amazing stay ☺️ overall a really lovely place!

Lovely peaceful break close to the coast. Very nice accommodation and comfy bed. Sarah was helpful & provided lots of recommendation’s and some lovely arrival treats. We loved the games room!

Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

What a wonderful little place. We had a great new years getaway at Lesley’s place. Great spot right on the beach and the hot tub was fab. Just what we were after and would love to stay again some day. Thanks Lesley for being a great host. Adam & family.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

We were only able to stay for a couple of nights but this is now our new favourite place in Norfolk and can’t wait to return. The house is so cosy and inviting and I loved the decor. There was a lovely welcome box in the kitchen when we arrived and we felt right at home. It is really quiet and peaceful and yet a two minute walk to some great places to eat. Can recommend Eric’s Pizza and the Two Magpies Bakery. It’s close enough to drive to the beach for walks with your dog and then come home and soak in the hot tub. Perfect stay and looking forward to returning.

The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Myself and my partner had a great stay at the cottage, it was very peaceful and had all the appliances and things we needed to enjoy a great weekend away. I'd love to revisit.

Liz's country cottage was truly a perfect hideaway for our long weekend getaway (Mar 28-31, 2025). From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and tidy everything was, both inside the house and throughout the grounds. The property itself is absolutely beautiful - exactly as advertised and even more charming in person. The location is stunning, providing the perfect peaceful countryside setting for a relaxing escape. We had an amazing 4 days here, and the comfort and beauty of this cottage played a significant role in making our stay so memorable. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident. I would highly recommend Liz's cottage to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a beautiful location. We hope to return again soon!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. 20-30 mins from every major place you could want to go. Cosy and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Private and secure, a real Norfolk countryside stay! We loved our stay, everything we needed was provided and Scott gave us all the information we needed to allow easy check in. We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully for longer next time. Just wow! The cosiest, most beautiful cottage, close by to shops and beach we didn’t need to use the car. Went on the Norfolk light express which was magical, then back to put the fire on, feeling very festive. Thankyou Fiona we will be back!

The Old Smokehouse was the perfect place for us to stay with our year old golden retriever for a long weekend. The property was exactly as described and had everything we expected and needed. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach but set away from the main road, the location is spot on! A small selection of eateries and a village shop on the way to the beach is great, the beach itself is huge and very clean and we had it to ourselves on a few occasions which was great for the dog! Marks communication was friendly and informative, all in all we could have asked for more! Thanks!

This is my 2nd stay and I love it here! So cozy, quite and exactly what you need to just get away Beds are comfy, so clean, kitchen has everything you need, log fire is a great bonus for cozy nights Can’t wait to come back!!

What a lovely place to spend Christmas Day! I’m so glad I came across Imogen’s place. It’s ouR last Christmas here in the UK and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place :). Thank you so much for making us so welcome and for putting a tree up for us too! :).

A perfect stay! Very lovely, clean cottage. Perfect to stay with a dog. Small shop opposite the house so very convenient if you forgot something and don’t want to drive to the big shop. There is also a lovely farm-shop nearby. It was very peaceful and quiet. Perfect relaxing gateway. Only 3 miles to Southwold (it took us 10 mins to get there by car). It was very comfortable, we stayed as a couple with a medium size dog. There is also some garden furniture, so you can have a lovely meal in the garden! Tom was very helpful, I got a flat tire on the way to the cottage and he recommended a garage to get it fixed, was super speedy and they were very flexible. Will definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

We (4 adults, 1 toddler) had a really lovely stay at Kate's place. we booked it looking for a long weekend of peace and sea access, and it was perfect for that. The cottage was nicely laid-out, characterful but also well-appointed, and had very comfortable sofas. the kitchen, dining table and living area were all open-plan, which wasn't obvious in the photos but suited us great. dog park across the road if you have a dog. Kate greeted us on arrival and gave us some tips about the local area, and otherwise left us to get on, with the understanding of reaching out if we needed anything. The nearest beach (Cart Gap Beach) was about half a mile walk down a small country road, where there is also a car park, Cafe and public toilets. be aware that at high tide, there's not a lot of sand at Cart Gap - possibly better to move south wards down the coast. At medium or low tide, there's tons of flat sand, perfect for beach games or making sandcastles/holes. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had never visited Norfolk before, it was a delightful place and more than met our expectations. The Stables is in an excellent location within easy reach of beaches, delightful villages and Sandringham . Thank you Maxine, your cottage was perfect.

A huge thank you to Sarah and Ian, who made our stay a fantastic experience! Beautiful cottage, amazing views and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah, wonderful hosts! The private hire swimming pool is definitely an added bonus! And of course the open fire!

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location: opposite the pub and just down from the community run village shop. The cottage was beautifully clean and had everything we needed, and more! As mentioned in other reviews, a couple of the doorways are quite low and I bumped my head a few times - I'm 5' 10". If you're of a certain age and need to visit the bathroom during the night, you may like to know that it's downstairs! It was my wife's first visit to the Broads and we'll definitely be coming back soon!

The cottage looked exactly like the photos and was perfect. Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and the kitchen had all we needed. Milk and biscuits on arrival were very useful. Denise was so helpful and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

We had a lovely stay at puffin cottage. The location is excellent for exploring southwold and enjoying the beach. Em’s place is beautiful - spotlessly clean, easy check in and with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.
