Amazing views and within 5 mins to Purgatory ski resort. You feel right at home. The space is relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing and it's in a great location for the mountain views. I definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful home with a fenced yard. Huge projector was a plus and the potbelly stove was a favorite! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Pagosa Springs.

Nice place to getaway and enjoy some mountain air

Perfect little getaway! The cabin was very clean! They have it stocked with anything and everything you need. The hot tub was great! Communicate with Kyle was quick and easy, very responsive. We will definitely book again!

Great house for a ski trip. Close to town and comfortable. The hot tub, warm house and ample hot water for showers were much appreciated after a day on the slopes. Hosts were very responsive.

Great cabin at a great value. Very comfortable for 4 adults, room for more. Lovely quiet mountain community, just a few minutes off the main road. Plenty of comfy seating, large table, well-equipped kitchen and the fireplace roars. Beds were very comfortable. Great deck out front, and the hot tub was on point; we used it twice a day each day and it was always hot and to our setting. Plenty of parking. The area was dry of snowfall during our stay, so can't comment on how tricky it might be to get up there during real winter conditions, but could see how tit could be. Highly recommend for a Purg visit, really is only minutes up the road to the ski area.

Ellen and Steve's place was just what we needed and they were wonderful hosts. We were able to chat with them both in person and they were extremely nice and had great suggestions on what to do in the area. Their place was perfect for a couple and our dogs. 4 adult guests would be doable, but you will need to be comfortable sharing a sleeping space. They did a great job with their remodel and it was very cute! They had everything in the house to make you feel right at home. Their pups were the best! We loved having them around and they even played with our pups, which was very nice. Their property was great, not only for our dogs but for is to walk around on a well. They had a great fire pit and outside seating area. This is the type of place and type of hosts that we always try to find. We would stay here again! We appreciate you all letting us stay and we look forward coming back again!

Our stay at Danielle's place for the holiday week was fantastic. We had not stayed on this particular side of Pagosa Springs before, but were pleasantly surprised with the proximity to town. Danielle's place was a great location for us to head out skiing every morning and our dogs loved the huge property. We would definitely stay here again!

This space is so much bigger than expected!! The couch was super nice and comfy and reclined 🤩 loved the patio space too. It was great for having 5 people in there. So walkable to anything but that’s also Lake City since it’s small. It was really great.

Such an amazing place to stay for an amazing trip. It was so convenient and close to Purgatory Resort making each day a breeze. Thank you for an amazing stay and we will definitely be looking to book again here in the future!

Great place to stay right in the beautiful mountain town of Lake City. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the perfect place to stay for a long weekend!

great place to stay if ever in Lake City!

Don was personable and proactive from the very get-go, helping us to feel secure and welcome even months ahead of time. The location itself was beautiful, with a view of the lake from the firepit, firewood provisions overflowing. There were neighbors nearby, but it was still a private and relatively large piece of beautiful personal property. Our kids loved the firepit, the hammock, the canoes (life jackets provided). Inside, we were greeted with a space that felt luxurious, outdoorsy, and "home-y." The kitchen had all high-quality amenities (save a dishwasher). Hot and cold water, all was from a filtered well that was drinkable. The livingroom was surprisingly spacious, with a fireplace that loved sitting by morning an evening. There were hundreds of DVDs, books, and even family boardgames. The entire house shone it's proud history with outdoorsy keepsakes, 100 year old newspapers, paintings. The beds were all incredibly comfortable; It was the best sleep I'd had in months.

We love staying here! we have been several times in the summer but this was our first winter trip. absolutely beautiful! They let us use some of their ice skates so my daughter and I could skate on the lake and let my husband borrow some bait for his ice fishing. Very generous and friendly! we will definitely be back again and again!

This was the perfect spot! It was 10 min away from purgatory ski resort and 30 min away from Durango for shopping! My family absolutely loved it and would stay again. The only note I have is if you are traveling with a baby do not sleep on the very bottom floor. Due to the house being a cabin it was very creaky, so you can hear everyone above you!

Small cabin with two beds, a TV that is just big enough and a 1 minute drive to Purgatory. This place is fantastic for small groups and those who want to ski Purg without a long drive.

It was my first time glamping with my daughter for our birthday trip and we had the best time ever! I will definitely be coming back as much as I possibly can! Thank you for being so wonderful and giving us the best birthday trip ever!

Had a great time and we had everything we could need. It was a well set up cabin right down to the complimentary waters, seltzer waters and thoughtful bottle of wine. It was clean, unique and had charm and character. We loved it! The beds were comfortable so much so that my significant other looked to see what kind they were for a potential future purchase of the same. All the cleaning products (dishsoap, hand soap, body wash, etc) were of great quality. All the cooking supplies and utensils were of high quality and it represented to me that the host genuinely cares about the experience that his guests have. All around 5 stars for us! Thank you Barney we will be back!
