Die Unterkunft hat uns rundum gut gefallen. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen und idyllischen Lage direkt an einem kleinen Kanal, mit guter Anbindung an die nächstgelegenen Städte Hoorn und Alkmaar sowie den Strand, den man in etwa 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders das große Badezimmer mit Handtüchern und Bademänteln sowie das gemütliche Wohnzimmer und die Küche haben uns überzeugt. Das Bett war äußerst bequem, sodass wir wunderbar geschlafen haben. Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, bekamen eine kleine Führung über den Pferdehof und wertvolle Ausflugstipps. Auch bei der Abreise erkundigte sich der Besitzer nach Verbesserungsvorschlägen, was sehr aufmerksam war. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

I had a wonderful stay at Miguel's beautiful two-floor penthouse. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and has a large terrace that's perfect for relaxing. The main bedroom is comfortable, and the kitchen with a bar area is great for meals. It’s located in a quiet part of the city but still close to everything. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Bel appartement à la décoration chaleureuse et très bien équipé que ça soit en produits et en matériel pour cuisine. Un coup de cœur pour la terrasse à l’écart du bruit de la ville. L’appartement est bien situé dans le centre ville où l’on peut tout faire à pieds. Belle découverte de la ville de Hoorn qui est très charmante et d’où on peut visiter Amsterdam comme ses environs. Merci pour les instructions très claires et l’accueil.

We had a wonderful stay in Helene’s Amsterdam apartment! This visit felt like the good old days of Airbnb, staying in another family’s apartment while they were out of town. Unlike many impersonal Airbnb’s, Helene’s apartment is obviously a home, in the best way possible, with beautiful decor from her own travels. The space was pristine and Helene is a great communicator. There are several flights of stairs, but they are safe and easily navigable: even our 3 year old found them to be a fun adventure! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe. We walked to and from the train station, grocery store, and local attractions with no need for public transportation. Thank you, Helene!

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Ich habe es dort wirklich genossen!

Maison nickel, chaleureuse et pleine de vie, il y a de la décoration partout ce qui rajoute de la personnalité à la maison que ce soit à l’intérieur ou l’extérieur, on est situer à une vingtaine de minute du centre, à quelques mètre d’une épicerie. Une communication efficace concernant les détails, comme les clés, les petite règles à respecter ect. Merci à Bart et Rachel de nous avoir accueillis dans leur maison nous adorerons passer un autre séjours chez eux.

Els' rental home is wonderful! My husband and I stayed in this home for 3 nights with our son, daughter-in-law, their two very young children (both under 2.5 yrs) and it was ideal. There are two bedrooms and a full (both shower & bath) bathroom upstairs, a bedroom and full bathroom ensuite downstairs plus a toilet room downstairs. The open concept living room, dining area and kitchen was plenty of space for our purposes. We didn't have great weather but during nice weather there is also an outdoor eating area and huge lawn. It also had laundry machines. The home was very clean and had everything you need to cook and eat in. There is a large fridge, but note there is no freezer... so, we just ate all the ice cream bars we had purchased in one evening, so that wasn't a problem ◡̈ The rental home is located beside the owners home and they are very welcoming and helpful and it was lovely to meet them. Impressive Airbnb and we had a terrific time and would highly recommend!!

Leon’s place is great for a group booking as there is plenty of eating and living space. Leon is very friendly and helpful. The bikes allowed us to cycle around the lovely cycle paths round about. Although it’s outside of the city centre we managed well with buses, the metro ( both excellent) and Ubers.

AMAZING! We are a family of 5 traveling with 12, 14 and 16 year olds. This house fit all our needs! We were concerned that it wasn’t in the heart of Amsterdam but staying in Landsmeer was the highlight of our trip! Amsterdam has the easiest bus/metro to navigate so you can be in the heart of Amsterdam from this house in 15 minutes. Highlights of this home are its in a peaceful, safe neighborhood, its walking distance (5 minutes to 2 grocery stores, 1 minute to bus stop that takes you to the metro), its super clean, modern, comfy beds, and has a massage chair that we didn’t anticipate using but used every night after long days wondering Amsterdam! Antoinette is the kindest and makes you feel very welcome. She has thought of everything you might need, extra blankets, laundry baskets, stocked kitchen and shower supplies. Every Airbnb needs an Antoinette! Wish we stayed longer. ❤️

It was a wonderful stay. We did have a small problem with a late checkin but that was due to the cleaning lady. The house was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, especially after long days of walking. But also after a long day of walking the stairs may be uncomfortable. However, I would book again without hesitation. The area is far enough away from Amsterdam that its peaceful at night. But close enough to bike to. The terrace was awesome. If your thinking about this house, just do it.

Bellissimo appartamento. Esattamente come dalle foto. Una zona tranquilla, appena fuori Amsterdam. Con il treno o i mezzi in 15 minuti siete in stazione centrale. E grazie alle splendide biciclette a disposizione, tutto diventa una ulteriore vacanza. Yafit e Jerry sono host impeccabili. Sempre a disposizione ma mai invadenti. Grazie. Tutto alla grande. Très bon séjour chez Elvira et Boris. Elvira a été très à l’écoute et très réactive à toutes nos questions. L’appartement est très confortable et très chaleureux. Le coin lecture au soleil face à la végétation est particulièrement apprécié après avoir beaucoup marché dans Amsterdam !

I couldn't recommend somewhere to stay more. The cottage was in its own little bubble of countryside. So quiet and peaceful. the cottage itself was immaculate and cosy. Very quick and easy to get public transport into the city. Angela is a superb host and was so kind as to let us stay on an extra night as our airline cancelled our return flight home

Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam. The park nearby is an added bonus. This place is close to everything one needs for a comfortable, restful stay. Nathan was a great host.

Wir hatten einen richtig angenehmen Aufenthalt in Stevies und Niels Apartment! :) Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke, dass wir bei euch übernachten durften! Durch die Nähe zur Fähre waren wir zudem immer richtig schnell im Zentrum von Amsterdam.

A fantastic apartment in Amsterdam, outside of the busy tourist area but easy walking distance to all attractions. Excellent location, great amenities very close by - supermarket, restaurants, bars, takeaways. We walked from the apartment every day and had a wonderful experience of this great city. Heleen is a highly responsive and friendly host who evidently wanted to help us make the most of the apartment and our visit. The apartment is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable - especially with the friendly and chatty cats :). An absolutely fabulous place to stay and enjoy all that Amsterdam has to offer. Nous avons logé dans ce logement, très joli, très design. C’est à côté du quartier étudiant, Un nouveau quartier chic et hype. Cependant, si vous souhaitez vous rendre au centre, il faudra prendre le Ferry et marcher un petit peu quand même. Lorsque la météo n’est pas favorable, cela peut être compliqué. Sinon rien à dire, je conseille ce logement

Tim & Elizabeth were awesome hosts. When we first arrived, Tim picked us up at the ferry dock and offered to drive us to the grocery if we shopped when we first arrive. They also brought us croissants & orange juice one morning and had us over for drinks the evening before we left. The houseboat is a 15-20 minute walk from the free ferry which takes you directly to the Central Station. There are also a couple groceries and a few restaurants within walking distance. Multiple modes of mode of public transportation are also available. We loved staying here. Located on a quiet canal with numerous houseboats, it was relaxing and peaceful. One of our favorite morning activities was to feed the swans and other water birds that appear outside the siding door; Tim and Elzabeth provide special kibble for them. If you are looking for a quiet place slightly removed from bustle of central Amsterdam, this is ideal!
