We had a sudden plan on a long weekend and found this place through the App. What caught our eyes was the scenic beauty of the place and surroundings. As described in the picture it was more beautiful at the location. Very serene , calm and peaceful place. Host was very accommodating with the early check-in and late check out. Please don't expect a lavish hotel type arrangements with all the amenities. But worth the stay, kind of Rustic in nature for explorers and nature enthusiast. Kitchen amenities are plenty and you might love to cook your meal and enjoy in the Nature. Wifi and Power backup was throughout our stay. Ashwin was very helpful and prompt with the services which made it more pleasant. Mr Zacaria was also in constant touch during our stay for any needs. We visited the nearest beach on day one, water falls on the next day and a forest trek in early morning to close. Overall a lovely stay and breathtaking scenic views from the location. Would recommend this place ..

Excellent stay in a peaceful location... House and amenities are as described. Host Roshan family and their friend Homestay Caretaker Sudheer made us feel comfortable with our stay and Sudheer helped us ensuring all basic amenities for stay and any special requests are taken care of. He even suggested nearby attractions and accompanied us showing the route/local inquires and food order etc., House is a convenient and spacious independent villa with ample parking space for few Cars... and a nice garden, power backup. House would be comfortable for 3 small families or such group. Food options - self cooking in Kitchen or nearby order. Overall, a pleasant stay...

Nikhil's place was beautiful, set in a lush green plantation with the river walkably close. Dilbar who handled guest services was always reachable and very responsive to our requests. The food was amazing, especially the traditional coorgi breakfast puttu. One thing to note - the attic room gets hot during the day and is only accessible by people with good mobility. Finally, being a bird watcher, the diversity and sheer density of birds was a great plus. Just for that and for how polite and responsive Nikhil and his dad Uday are, I would stay here again if I am in the area.

The place is really nice and great way to enjoy nature. Deepak’s father and uncle are great hosts. The food preparation was very good and made as per our requests. The property tour was very nice. The place is good for large group outing. Deepak also shared local sightseeing recommendations and those were also good. I will surely recommend the place for those who want to get away from large city hustles for quick de-stress. I wish room windows had nets so that one could keep them open if needed without fear of insects getting inside.

Had a great time at Darshan's place. Recently stayed at the cottage and it was amazing. The cottage was very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They provided us with lots of helpful information about the area and offered us some great recommendations. The location was perfect and I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Very remote and un touristic a magical place. The beach house is sandwiched between a seemingly endless golden sand beach 35kms long and the calm of the backwater. Bicycles rides and boat trips recommended. Doc’s sense of intrinsic beauty and craftsmanship is evident in the 4 homes on the island that he has restored with an artists eye for detail. He was very welcoming and helpful with planning and organisation. We also had great conversations. Theyyam rituals are a must. We were lucky to see the dancing with fire. Otherwise my favorite things were evening Kayaking at sunset to the mangroves and early morning swimming & bird watching in the back water. It’s worth also checking the peacock house on the backwater side, it sleeps 4. Thank you, Doc, for creating spaces that are so sensitive to their environment and sharing your little paradise and curry plant 🌱 with us.!

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

Mrs. Gayathry's house was a superb place to base our travels in and around Kasaragod. Easily accessible, unmatched hospitality (the breakfast of puttu, kadala and pappadom were out of this world), and all the required amenities provided at a very reasonable price. We and our pet cat absolutely loved our stay.

We had a great time. Aakash is really honest and helpful. He picked us up and took care of the meals. Accommodation is in the mountains with a great view and really nice swimming pool. Room was very clean and well organized. So, we would recommend this place for sure. Altho it's a little far from the village, for us (without transportation) it was doable by walk and taking a rickshaw. Aakash, tnx for your help, you made this place amazing!
