The photos almost do justice to the Douglas Munro Suite, but not quite. To get to the unit, you first walk through two secure doors that lead you into a beautiful beer garden. Next, you enter your own private door and climb up an old-fashioned staircase that opens up through the floor of the unit--a truly breathtaking introduction. After that, the gleaming hardwood floors, high barn-style ceiling, tall windows, four-poster bed, and light blue shabby-chic sofa do the rest to amaze you. The bed was *very* comfortable with a mattress topper and silky smooth sheets to envelop you completely. Snacks, coffee, local coffee-shop gift cards, etc were a welcoming plus. The TV, thankfully, was easy to operate for a couple in their 60's. Thank you, Donnie and Olivia, for allowing us to store our bikes in your lodge area. That was a real help! We would love to stay with you again on our next bike riding adventure in Elizabeth City.

My wife and I are kayaking the ICW and needed a place near the water to wait out a storm. Gia’s place is PERFECTLY located! We landed right in front of the apartment and it was easy to pull the boat out with the little boat ramp. Also, it is just across the water from the famous restaurant at Coinjock marina that everyone had been telling us about. Gia have lots of great instructions on how to enter, though the local recommendations were over the top (I think this is encouraged by AirBnB, though). Her responses were immediate, which helped us quickly decide to book with her because she is so proactive. The apartment is just as described, and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We liked having the little balcony with a view of the water. That is a nice feature!! The building itself is in need of some maintenance, though that won’t affect your stay. It seems as if a bunch of improvement work is underway at the premises, meaning this place will be even more amazing soon!

We loved staying at this studio apartment and the entire area for that matter. the host couple was absolutely wonderful, Paul & Kim - can't say enough there. Many levels of thoughtfulness went into making this a great stay - a combination of big things like the bicycles, the beach chairs & umbrella, as well as everything you could want in a vacation kitchen. And as a self-styled beach connoisseur we thought the nearby very beach was top-notch.

This unit is in a perfect location at the end of a quiet street with beautiful views of the Currituck Sound. There is a private pier for fishing or just enjoying the view. The home was beautifully decorated and spacious and clean! It met all our needs. Gia was a very responsive and proactive host.

This is a lovely condo right on the beach. The views from the balcony are incredible - we had our morning coffee there every day and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean and even saw a few dolphins. Location is great - a 5-min drive from all the great restaurants of Duck, and it would be about a 15-min walk. Guests should be aware that this airbnb doesn't have the basic pantry items that a lot of other airbnbs have (in my experience), like salt/pepper, coffee, tea, sugar. Just for awareness to bring or pick up those items on the way instead of having to run back out. There was also no hand or dish soap, though to his credit, Rick said those items are usually there and he offered to pay me back for the soap I purchased. Only other item to note is that the window by the sliding glass door is broken and the wind kept blowing it open. We continuously tried to close it but the latch is broken. Overall we had a great stay here and would absolutely book again.

We had a wonderful stay in Edenton and highly this home! It was beautiful and right on the water. We watched the sunrise and set daily! The house was spotless, had plenty of room for our girls weekend and so comfy cozy! We loved it and highly recommend it, we will definitely be back! It’s In a peaceful neighborhood and Just a short drive to the adorable downtown Edenton.

Great value and good location - short drive to downtown Edenton & waterfront. Close to main highway, yet still quiet and peaceful. Anthony communicated instructions excellently & responded quickly to questions. Nice cottage with antique feel. Happy to find this pet-friendly home! Home was exactly as pictured & described.

Martin’s home is absolutely beautiful! His place is very clean with a large, fully equipped kitchen. We saw horses everyday! This was our first time visiting the area. He was very quick answering our many questions. It was private, peaceful and just what we needed- a true get away!! Perfect 😎

Enjoyed our stay in very well kept and well equipped condo. Short walk to great beach. Very attractive decor with a nice pool setting. We used the shaded porch every day. Nice new appliances that worked very well.

Our stay was wonderful! We were steps away from the beach and were provided a wagon to haul the chairs, umbrellas and cooler to the beach. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Great location to get to the wild horse tour and many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Lynn always responded immediately with clear directions. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Nadya’s place! My family rented for the Thanksgiving holiday and the house had everything we needed. All the kitchen necessities for cooking a delicious meal at home, communal games and streaming TVs to keep us occupied during down time, and comfy beds for a good night’s rest! The house is located right on the beach access, and across the street from the Historic Corolla Park so easy access to a variety of activities and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Nadya herself was communicative and gave easy instructions for finding the place, getting in and out of the house, and checking out. I will definitely be renting again in the summertime, when we can really make use of the gorgeous outdoor patio space! Thank you for welcoming us into your home, Nadya.

Lynn was an amazing host. So easy to reach and helpful. The location is ideal as you can walk to the beach and to the park, lighthouse and sound. There are also walkable restaurants near by so we didn’t need to move the car.

The community has everything you could need for a beach stay - direct short walk to the beach, bar and grill within the community that you can easily order food or drinks from, a beautiful pool with cabanas you can rent for the days you don’t want to go down to the beach, and restaurants and bars within a few miles. You could really stay in the community the entire stay and you’d have everything you’d need. Lovely stay and very responsive hosts. Would recommend for family or a group of friends as we did - and we highly consider coming back next year!

We loved our Christmas stay at Paul and Scot's. The condo is BEAUTIFUL. Even prettier than the pictures. It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay. Scot was very friendly and communicative. Overall an excellent experience.
