Perfect place to stay

Elisabeth was amazing! She called to check in on us! We found lots of bright yellow banana slugs in the early morning! We were surrounded by nature but close enough to town to get some pizza on the way. Elisabeth was so sweet and accommodating! I highly recommend this place and it was even nicer than the pictures!!

Excellent and spacious home! Kelly is friendly and very helpful. She even assisted with us when we needed the AC on for a hot day! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

I needed to change my trip plans last minute and make a same day reservation. Ed and Elsie accommodated me as easily as booking a month out. Later I needed to extend my stay and fortunately I was able to do that too. The room was classic and comfortable. Except for the sound of occasional cars outside, I could imagine being in the house in the late 1800's when it was new. Thankfully I found electricity for charging my phone, as I am not quite that disconnected from the current age. However, disconnecting from tv and chatting with other people in the house provided a much needed respite. They are charming hosts who made my visit wonderful!

Staying with Eunice was an absolute pleasure. Kind and warm. She made breakfast for me every morning and provided me with history about the town as well as her ties to it. It felt like staying with a family member. She is the best and one of the kindest people I am honored to know. Cannot recommend enough.

Nina was friendly and welcoming, and her home was comfortable and clean. I had plenty of space for my things and the bed was comfortable. I was able to work from my room comfortably, and had enough space to do yoga too. Everything was well-appointed and I enjoyed my stay very much. The neighborhood was quiet, and Nina was very accommodating and sweet.

Heather is thoughtful, generous, and kind! She made us feel right at home! The room and house are clean and the bed is very comfortable! The house is historic and in a cute neighborhood. There are beaches 5 minutes away and redwoods 15 minutes away! I would highly recommend Heathers place!

Can' te expect anything more than a pretty house, a wonderful host who gives you a tour of their garden plants, a beautifully decorated bed room, comfortable bed and a pristine neighborhood. Christine, it was so nice having fresh bread and chatting with you. I had a wonderful experience and hopefully will stay here again!!

Great place to stay in a beautiful town! Place came with everything we needed for our stay and much more! Located really close to grocery store, liquor store, and many restaurants/cafes. Highly recommend

We stayed in the annex because we wanted a kitchen, but the Victorian Inn has perfectly renovated Victoria era suites. Beautiful preserved building and lovely restaurant in a quaint, walkable town.

Ferndale is so worth the trip! Great town, restaurants, local and day trip activities! This suite sized lodging gives you such a comfortable place to come “home” to that we added an unplanned 2nd day to our stay after arriving. Dinner at the nearby VI restaurant was also excellent with great waitstaff.

Wendy and John’s farm is a true sanctuary for the world weary. The incredibly lush and peaceful landscape settle the soul-the sound of the creek, the quiet of the home, the multitude of birds, the easy proximity to town or to the beach all add up to be an idyllic location. Wendy and John, as hosts, are icing on the cake.

Very convenient location with all the necessary amenities. Walkable to food and attractions. Clear instructions and friendly host. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

We had a great night’s rest in room # 5 after a long drive from Southern California. Lowell is a great host, he was extremely accommodative & flexible with the checkin arrangements since we were going to be fairly late getting to Ferndale. We would love to come back & visit Ferndale again, it’s a really cute town !!

Great place to stay to see the redwoods and surrounding environmental wonders . Easy check in , super friendly staff. Would recommend staying here !

We stayed at Wendy And John's in the midst of a torrential rain storm for 2 nights and were well fed and cared for the entire time. (We came to the area for a birthday party of an old friend.) The meals were tasty, interesting and filling, and accompanied by great conversation. While the storm was tearing up the hills and dales, we were warm and cozy in our private suite sleeping like a couple of mice. It was a good stay and we love going there.

Cherie and Ken were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. Any questions or requests from my girlfriend and I were immediately taken care of. They made us feel right at home, and treated us like family. The space is amazing, the bathroom with the jacuzzi tub and rain shower makes you feel like you’re in a spa. The king size bed with the super comfy pillows and bedding was so nice, we didn’t want to get out of it. I highly recommend staying here if you are thinking of staying in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. My girlfriend mentioned something about their beautiful lemon tree, and when we left, they had a full bag of lemons for us to take with us. Looking forward to making homemade lemonade out of the beautiful lemons. Thanks again Cherie and Ken. We had an amazing stay with you.
