we stayed for three nights. Our flight arrived late around 11pm local time. Mohamed helped us find our taxi to reach to our destination. His staff at the property were very kind to let us in even though it was already mid night. The location is great,, you are less than 7 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to Saqqara. Giza is 40 minutes, Cairo is 45 to 50 minutes drive. You can order Uber or taxis from the house. You can buy all groceries locally within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for a family or a large group. lots of space to sit outside, bbq, garden and animals. Mohamed is extremely warm, caring and generous person. Always willing to help you. His staff at the property are extremely helpful and kind people as well. We will love to stay again. Thank you Mohamed for making us feel at home.

We stayed at Hamdi’s place for 3 nights in March and I’ve got to say that we were blown away with how beautiful and prestigious his building is. The apartment was clean’ spacious and very comfortable with absolutely everything you would need. The pool area was very cool and immaculately presented. His staff were really attentive and made sure we needed for nothing. We booked 2 tours with Hamdi which with his excellent local knowledge, his education in Egyptology and tourism was an incredible experience and one not to be missed. He also arranged the sunrise balloon ride for us which was also unmissable. The roof terrace at sunset with 360 views over Luxor, the Nile and mountain is was also a highlight. You will not find a better place to stay in Luxor. The building, location and value cannot be beaten. We will definitely be returning to Hamdis place and would now class him as a friend.

Dalia's place was perfect for me to unwind from busy London. She was very helpful as it was my first time in Egypt and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. I would love to come back.

What a wonderful experience! Dr. Mohamed was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It was a relaxing getaway and perfect for kids. Cant wait to return!

The farm and house were a peaceful oasis in the midst of loud, busy Egypt. The farm is a functioning horse farm, so farm workers were taking care of the animals and crops while we were there, but the house has a short wall and hedge around it providing decent privacy. The pool is not chemically treated, so they switch the water out every few days with water from their well. It had been changed before our arrival, so it was clean but COLD! The villa could easily fit a large group, with more than enough space for everyone. We really enjoyed the riding lesson our girls were able to do with Haytham, for an additional cost. He also gave us a tour of the farm, introducing us to the animals and telling us about their farming methods and what they grow in each season. There was a supermarket and vegetable stand a few minutes away that seemed to have basic groceries, but no restaurants or other activities. This location is a great place to get away and rest, which was exactly what we wanted!

We had a wonderful day and night and Nassar Mohamed's place. Abdullah was extremely helpful in getting us in and made us an Egyptian breakfast. The place was incredibly peaceful and relaxing and we really enjoyed our "safari" and bedouin dinner that was set up by our host. Would recommend for any stay in Faiyoum!

We absolutely loved our stay at Shali's. The location is perfect, only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The neighbourhood is lovely, there are a lot of animals everywhere. We especially loved the garden. Shali always replied quickly and was nearby. Would definitely recommend:)

Ahmed is a great host Trustworthy and reliable. He communicated really well throughout. Great at arranging two way transport for our family of four from Hurghada and back and transport to Valley of the King's. Ahmed recommended places to eat and best ways to move around Luxor. His prices were good with no hidden costs which immensely helped in planning our budget. Our girls loved the swimming pool, the villa is clean and well maintained. Muhammed Ahmed's son made lovely breakfast every day and was available to help with transport and shopping's. My hubby enjoyed the motorbike rides around the neighbourhood with Muhammed.We met their family and loved the rural location of the villa. We were able to experience something authentic and beautiful and as a family we are very grateful to Ahmed and his family for their hospitality, warmth and fantastic organisational skills. Can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for safe, however off the beaten track experience outside of Hurghada.

Good place to stay close to the local ferry, you can walk many restaurants near, it’s a big room, quiet area super recommended
