Lovely new home - very comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay to attend a family wedding in the area. Convenient to walk down to the main street and a short walk from the Gin distillery which was very nice for lunch.

We had a terrific weekend at Villa Costa Lotta. The wonderfully designed and thoughtfully appointed house sits on a large block with lots of spots to relax and unwind. Great communication, lots of thoughtful and useful touches. Couldn’t recommend more.

Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

Gorgeous space and land, very clean, and mornings felt like waking up in a rainforest canopy. Absolutely spectacular bird song. Martin allowed me to park in the front parking spot which was great, because I was driving an SUV and was not comfortable backing out of the narrow driveway. The Sonos speakers made getting ready for my friend’s wedding nearby a delight. My only trouble was that I couldn’t get some of the spotlight style lights to turn on, on the second floor, which meant it was a bit darker in the evening upstairs than I’d usually prefer before bed, but this was only a very minor inconvenience. Overall, this is a gorgeous home and I loved spending time in it; it has really lovely romantic vibes — come solo, like I did, or this is a great space for a friend getaway or a few days away with a partner.

Our stay at Stirling Lodge was exceptional. It’s a really well equipped airbnb with everything you need and more. Beds were comfortable and location is wonderful. We loved the personal touches of coffee machine, soda stream and gifts of local wine, chocolate and coffee beans! There was plenty of wood and we enjoyed having the fireplace. We would like to come in warmer months to enjoy the pool and nearby river and would suggest the addition of a drying room/cupboard for ski gear during the winter months! We hope to stay again ☺️

We stayed during the school holidays. My husband and I, our 3yo and 0yo children, and our dog. It was a very private space, and we were able to relax. There was a forest right behind the accommodation, and our son had a wonderful time playing, picking up sticks, picking flowers, and finding insects..etc The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of heaters, blankets, and towels prepared, which was great. The Wi-Fi was fast, so my husband can work in the workspace. We had such a comfortable and lovely time as a family. Thank you very much.

Little Retreat is relaxing and in a great location. We didn’t use the spa but it looked inviting. The bathroom was fresh and clean and I appreciated the Turkish towels. To me it felt like bush meets beach. It is bushy all around the accommodation and the lake. It felt relaxing and private. I really appreciated the electric barbecue to cook on. Suzy and Rick were easy to communicate with. They obviously love sharing their property.

Great place to stay close to family . Nice big town house, shops and cafe nearby.

The place was amazing and it was close to everything that we needed, trains and trams were right outside the house. The balcony was also super cool.

absolutely loved this stay and completely accessible by public transport. Train to upper fern tree and then bus. It was the perfect get away and couldn't recommend more, great host too.

Great little apartment, super well located and easy to get to everything we needed. The building complex is lovely with an amazing pool/outdoor area and the apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed. David was an excellent host- very communicative and helpful when we needed to extend our stay!

Beautiful places for family activities during weekend. Highly recommended.

Fantastic getaway. The place is wonderfully quirky and real thought and care has been put into making it feel more like staying at a friends place than your typical Airbnb. Endless little thoughtful touches and delights. Our little dogs enjoyed it with freedom to enjoy the yard. Best of all the low connectivity meant our teens had a blast with all the games, the bird life and had lots of non screen, old fashioned fun, as intended. We drove up Saxtons road to Downey track, parked at the gate and did the walk to the amazing waterfall. Stunning. We made great pizza - only needed to bring toppings. They aren’t stingy with supplies. Do read the instructions regarding 12v power and its limitations. It’s all explained well, and they have a bible with clear instructions for everything in the house. A wonderful retreat.

Has been great breaking away and lazying along the riverside and the highlight has to be the river swimming…Thanks for sharing your place with us we absolutely loved everything about it. Thanks 😊

I wish we could have stayed longer, such a beautiful area surrounded by trees and nature. The lodge is stunning with a homely vibe and the double spa is perfect after a long day of hiking etc. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch which was very nice ( lots of local produce). The outdoor fire pit was perfect, both my husband and I enjoyed this greatly. The birds in the morning were my favourite. The kookaburras, the Sulfur crested cockatoos and rosellas are adorable and we loved feeding them. Thank you Shellie and John for making us feel welcome. We are seriously considering coming back again for our 5th year wedding anniversary. 100% recommend

Amazing Stay. Great base for a Mt Buller snow experience. Lovely, new and functional space on a sheep farm. Convenient driving distance to Mt Buller and Mansfield shops. We enjoyed the outdoor Bbq and fire place as well. The heated laundry/drying room was good for ski gear drying as well. The internet is good enough to watch Netflix, however cuts out every now and then. Don’t expect to get much work done from there. Just enjoy the beautiful remote location. Definitely recommend

Malcolm and Hannah have a beautiful property and we had an amazing, relaxing weekend away. They’re lovely, helpful people that were always ready to improve our experience if they could in any way - going above and beyond. House is cosy, stayed cool in heat and had a warm lovely cottage charm that made us feel just happy to be there. So quiet too! Will hopefully be back in Mount Evelyn someday soon to stay with them!

Sharon’s place was cosy and beautiful, communication was excellent, and was very private feeling. Highly recommended
