We had a great stay at Laura’s house. Very relaxing to just look out over the jungle down to the ocean with birds and monkeys coming and going. The view is really fantastic. Open air concept made you feel like you were always right there in nature. Exciting trip up the road 4x4 is a must. Private road down to the beach made that very accessible. Thanks again to Laura and Veronica for making our visit so enjoyable.

Wonderful place, with a spectacular view! The statue of Christ is super close to Malibu and the host was also super helpful in recommending local restaurants with a 20% discount :) They’re super attentive when it comes to any inquiries or maintenance questions. However, I will say that there were a lot of bugs outside so I recommend bringing repellent. Its location is not that inclined like most places in San Juan, so that was another upside to it. Great location, great staff, great place ❤️

The place was good and everything made our stay very pleasant. The road to get there might be hard for smaller cars, but its manageable. Amelia was a great host, very responsive and the place was everything we expected.

El alojamiento es precioso. Está retirado pero a la vez cerca del centro de San Juan del Sur (approx 10 min). Amelia es rápida en contestar y Walter (el cuidador) es súper amable y atento.

La casa es súper confortable, con una piscina con vista al mar que permite ver uno atardeceres increíbles. La atención y el cuidado de la casa fue excelentes . Sin dudas volvería y recomendaría la estadía.

Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

A magical place for a relaxing stay away from the bustle in town. Nearby Playa Majagual is incredible, great for swimming as the little bay is quite protected, and El Ranchito, the restaurant run by Luis and his family, is awesome. Owner is very responsive. One of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

Jim’s place was beautiful, clean and private ! Great getaway ! Jim was very responsive and very attentive! 100 percent recommended.

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. We stayed at CasAnika for three weeks and had an amazing time! The house is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a beautiful terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was great for remote work, and we loved the pool area and the friendly dogs and cats. Tony was a fantastic host, always helpful and full of great tips. The location is quiet, private and ideal, within walking distance to Maderas and Marsella beaches. We rented a scooter for trips to town but rarely needed to go as the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

had a wonderful stay at Emeline's. the location is great and easily walkable to nearby restaurants and groceries. the house is well equipped and the local recommendations of tours, surf spots, restaurants and transportation options was thoughtfully put together. would definitely stay here again.

Most affordable way to surf the awesome waves of Playa Colorados. Located next to a great pizza place and the bikes made getting around Iguana a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

5 STARS all the way around for Miki’s house. She was amazing to work with, her house was so cool and super close to the beach. We loved the vibe, the plants, the pool, everything was spot on!

My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

This is a beautiful house and the view is exactly as pictured! We spent three weeks here and had an amazing time spending each day in the pool and evenings watching sunset. Dan has great recommendations, communication, and a guest discount to his catamaran tour which is tons of fun. We were three people working remotely and occasionally faced problems with power outages, often multiple times per week and day. If you are working remotely I would recommend flexibility and/or also having a local sim/ external data connection to avoid issues. However, I will mention that these issues are not unique to Dan's place and can be expected at any location in San Juan del Sur. The house attendants are readily available for anything you might need, however we sometimes faced miscommunication issues in regards to cleanings and laundry. I would highly recommend Dan's place for a relaxing vacation and remote work, you cannot beat the pool and view!

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

This place was incredible! The views were out of this world, the house was spotless and cozy, and everything was set up perfectly. Zachary and Suyen were great hosts, and Ricardo was super helpful and easy to work with. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot with beautiful scenery, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place! Amazing vacation! The house is a bit more outside of San Juan than expected, but it is exactly as advertised. We did walk a couple times over our 4 weeks stay, we made good with a couple Taxis for getting around and rented a car for a week to explore. To be honest though, we didn’t care. The view is spectacular and the kids were always busy in the pool. Grounds and rooms were well kept. It was like our own personal resort and had a great time! Property management team were always available and helpful.

ThiS was our home for ten days! simply wonderful. For us, four adults, and for our baby and five-year-old daughter! We always walked to the center, which we really liked because it allowed us to come into contact with real San Juaneños. This residence is incredibly beautiful in an incredible location. unfortunately we didn't meet Rob, but we're sure his heart is in the right place. He is very helpful and responds quickly! We could spend our whole lives here :). Thank you, Rob, Catalina and the gardner!!
