one of the best airbnb stays i’ve had! beautiful little private guest house and great location - walking distance to everything you need in coolangatta! trevor and ann were so friendly and welcoming! even provided a bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers which was very thoughtful. would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area!

What a beautiful place! 70 years old garden has a most wonderful aura of love and peace. People who created this garden and house loved it so much, cared for it so much that I could physically feel it. We stayed for two nights. This place certainly worth staying much longer. The location is can’t be any better, so close to the wonderful lookout and walks. Café, which is next to the house is very nice, but really slow. The cottage has the same feeling as the garden – someone loved it very much. It was great to sit next to the fireplace after day walks, soak in the bath.

We had such a beautiful stay. The perfect spot if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Such lovely tourist things to do around and everything was so close.

We absolutely loved our stay hosted by Ania and Alex. They were very accommodating even amidst the cyclone that we encountered when checking in. They always kept us up to date. Everything we needed was in close proximity and easy to navigate our way around. The decor styling is amazing and the space made us feel very comfortable and at home. It would be a treat for anyone wanting to stay there. We were also gifted with a nice bottle of wine and personally brewed beer, which hit the right spot after our long travel.

Claudia was a perfect host with clear instructions about the cottage and the general area. When we asked to use the featured fire it was prepared before we arrived and an abundant supply of firewood was provided. I highly recommend The Darlington Cottage for a short stay.

We had a lovely stay at Elaine and Geoff’s place! The check in was flexible, we had an early morning flight and they allowed us to come straight to our stay instead of having to wait around which was awesome. The house was spotless, and came equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, one of the most hospatible stays i’ve had in a long time. The thought that these two lovely people put into making your holiday something to remember is truly special. The outdoor area is perfect, and you find yourself losing track of time when you’re in the pool. Their 2 dogs were a highlight aswell, an absolute adore. We will definently be back, and I highly recommend you consider staying at this beautiful home. Thank you so much Elaine and Geoff!

This apartment was excellent and well laid out. Ample living room furniture for up to 6 people and good quality whitegoods throughout. Kitchen was stocked well with everything you could need for up to 8 people. Beds were comfortable and clean. there is no air-conditioning in bedrooms, but ceiling fans solved that. There are communal bbq facilities available at the resort, but would have liked our own.

We had a fantastic stay at Margot and Greg’s place! The property was spotlessly clean, tidy, and practical, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—close to Tallebudgera Creek, making it easy to explore the area. While we didn’t have the chance to meet Margot and Greg in person, their communication was excellent, and we felt well taken care of. The space itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and we couldn’t have asked for a better base for our visit. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay! – Ryan and Annelise

Nataliya is delightful, a gracious and kind host. She was incredibly helpful and her studio apartment was exactly as described. She has a list of local recommended activities and places to eat. A lovely stay I would do again.

Kristy was an awesome host who went above and beyond from getting the place ready with a welcome board and gifts including freshly laid eggs and some milk, to giving us a tour of her property, to offering her own facilities and catering to anything we needed. We had a very peaceful weekend and felt very welcomed and comfortable.
