The place was beautiful, pool outstanding!! The sunrises were stunning from the porch. The selection of pots and pans for cooking for a group of people, was challenging, but it also added to the adventure. I would recommend & may use again in the future.

Heidi was very quick to respond and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc… she even sent her husband over to show me how to operate the front door one evening. He was very kind and helpful just like Heidi. The house and pool were spotless and we were very comfortable there. I was able to walk to the beach just about every morning. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. The only things that were missing and would have been nice to have were a gas grill and beach supplies like a cooler and chairs. Very enjoyable stay and a beautiful island!

This was our first visit to the Bahamas (wife and I) , and as such we didn't know what to expect. On the spectrum of "Disney Land tourist trap" on the one end, and "Secluded, serene escape from reality" on the other, both the Island of Eleuthera and Marco's Place in particular fall firmly on the side of the latter. Both the broader island and this property exude a rustic and simple elegance and beauty. The property is spacious (numerous bedrooms and common spaces) making it an ideal group destination. The home is located on an expansive bluff with access to a limitless stretch of sandy beach below, and offers a panoramic view of the ocean and an endless parade of white-capped waves (among the most beautiful we've experienced). This is a place where one wakes up early for the simple joy of watching the sun rise while sipping coffee and contemplating the meaning of life from the elevated vantage point of the pool deck.

We loved our stay at Deborah's home. It was private and quiet with a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea and lots of stars at night. The pool was super refreshing after a day in the ocean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family of 4. There were so many good tips and recommendations in the information we were sent, and everything was printed out for us at the house. The power went out briefly (it can happen, Eleuthera is remote and rugged!), and there were flashlights at the ready at the house. Its a bit hard to find things on Eleuthera, and we made several wrong turns looking for her place, but it was mostly fatigue that caused our confusion. Once we got our bearings on the island we were able to navigate quite easily. You'll definitely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get around the island - the caretaker he met us at the airport with a jeep. Bring your own snorkel equipment, some of stuff at the house is old and might not fit kids.

Beautiful, spacious home that is well kept. It had all the amenities we needed. Josette was very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great experience at Sayle Point , the location is great…45 min from North Eleuthera airport, and close to groceries and good restaurants like Front Porch, Leorosa, and Rainbow Inn. The house is updated and stocked very well and everything worked as it should. We picked Sayle Point b/c of its beach but unfortunately we could never use it b/c the Caribbean was abnormally rough during our stay so we just drover over to the Atlantic side and played there. This was our third trip to Eleuthera and you learn to be flexible and just roll with it and enjoy this beautiful island. Laurie was great to work with and we would try Sayle Point again so we can take advantage of its own beach and snorkeling area. Beautiful house and property! I highly recommend a boat excursion in Spanish Wells with Da Salty Pig and ask for Gary.

Gorgeous - as always! Beautiful airy house with enough bedrooms (and bathrooms!!) to keep us out of each other's hair when needed. The pool! And ability to walk right out the yard and over to the beach. THE OUTDOOR bathroom and SHOWER- still my favorite thing about the house after multiple trips. It's just a PERFECT place to stay when you have 2+ people. Centrally located, private as can be while still right in the middle of it all. And Rachel is, as always, an impeccable host!

We loved this house. It is simple and beautiful and totally relaxing. Spanish Wells is the type of place you hope too many people don’t find out about. It is a little hard to get to and definitely not a party spot. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend time with family- this is a great place. The house is very comfortable, safe, and has everything thing you need. We would have loved to stay another week.

Slowtide was beautiful and exactly as described. The back deck &view is simply amazing. Our morning ritual included sitting on the deck while drinking coffee and watching sailboats quitely pass by. It is so peacful and quiet. We took full advantage of the path/steps to the ocean as well. Several days the ocean was so calm it resembled a lake. We frequently jumped off the platform and snorkled in the water below. At first the stairs to the water were a bit intimidating but after a few passes we were completely used to it. However, it's not recommended for small children or the elderly. The house is clean, spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed for the week. The restaurant options are very limited if you like to dine out. There are a few restaurants 10-15 minutes away, but the nicer dining options are in Governors Harbor - 40 mintues away. We spent most days exploring nearby beaches for snorkeling & swimming. Slowtide is a good central location for that

We had a wonderful stay! The road in was bumpy but not problematic (Susan told us it had recently been improved). We were looking for a quiet escape, away from any crowds, which this was. So many turtles and sting rays, every time we were in the harbor or the lagoon. We definitely saw more turtles than people some days! Its about 15min to the closest restaurant, 20-30 for other options and/or a grocery.

Key Lime Cottage (and SW in general) is like something out of a romance beach novel! We had the best time at this beautiful, picture perfect cottage. The only negative thing to say is that we had to leave! This place has a place etched in our hearts and we cannot wait to go back. We feel truly lucky to have stayed in such a perfect place and very grateful Renee has opened her precious gem to share. We loved the location, the perfect and comfortable decor, the view.. everything! Thank you for the best week, ever. Our family truly needed this ❤️ 🌴 🌞

This little house was absolutely perfect…the beach is literally steps from the back door. We had every imaginable thing we needed or didn’t know we needed. Extremely well stocked, like you’re staying with friends. Our family of 5 did just fine with one bathroom , excellent use of space.

If you're going to be traveling to Eleuthera, look no further! Shannon's bungalow sits high above the ocean giving beautiful daytime views and at night the stars are incredible, too. You'll be situated in a great middle ground for anything you'd like to do in the island. Minutes from beautiful beaches and great restaurants in town. Black outs are common (and did happen while we were there!) but we did not even notice due to Shannon's off-grid setup. As a host, Shannon is top tier and can help with anything you need while on-site. 10/10 would stay again!

We enjoyed Christmas at David’s lighthouse. Everything was as described in David’s listing. The home was beautiful and we could not have asked for more. You would be lucky if you find this listing available. For sure- off the grid relaxing vaca😊

Truly exceptional. Perfect place for a family. The house had everything we needed. Shawne was fantastic picked us up at the dock and helped arrange a golf cart to get around. Favorites: Coco's for Breakfast, TeeJay's for beach chairs and lunch, Dinner- Rooster Bar has a great happy hour, Da Vine Wine Merchants- phenomenal sushi, and the Landing

The Cottage offers beautiful views over the bay and of the local marine life. Turtles poke their heads out and sting rays float under the dock. Housekeeper Jennifer is charming and ensures you are on holiday, tending to bedding, towels, etc. A generator keeps lights, appliances and wifi on during the occasional power cut. The golf cart is needed to reach the local restaurants and shops which are a 5 to 8 min drive away, Pink Sands beach is a 5min walk. Great spot for a family vacation, just keep in mind if you have young kids the cottage is de facto two fully equipped flats (twin bedrooms are upstairs) which are not interconnected internally.

I've been on the island many times the location of this house is actually amazing just 10 minutes from the central airport and 5 minutes to the best restaurants in town, the view of the water is just spectacular. Private Road real quiet and peaceful.

We loved our stay! House was exactly as described and a perfect vacation! The house was stocked with all of our needed kitchen utensils, beach towels and beach chairs. Absolutely loved the upstairs enclosed deck area with chairs! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing vacay, this is your spot. The house is brand new and beautiful, the beach is outstanding. You are very close to the Caribbean side of the island, if you prefer calmer waters. Laura was very responsive and the local managers were very helpful and welcoming. Tips- if you’ve never been to Eleuthera- know that it’s more rural and laid back. There are resorts but it’s not so commercialized (which was ideal for us). Many times we had the whole beach to ourselves. There’s an adventure built in- navigating the island, finding good food spots, etc. The locals are incredibly Friendly and helpful and will give great advice for places to go and things to do. When booking a car- really try to get an SUV. We were a little late to the game and got a car instead. It’s do-able but the roads can be a little rough and to get to most things you have to drive unpaved roads. Overall great trip!

Amazing Amazing! The home is absolutely beautiful and feels very warm and welcoming. It is very clean and spacious and literally had EVERYTHING we needed. Mary-Bec and Marty are indeed the best host. They are very responsive, helpful, kind and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better home or better hosts. I will definitely be back !

We loved the location of this place! It’s way bigger than it appears in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked- sharp knives- which I’ve usually experienced crappy knives in airbnbs! The fans in the bedroom and the kitchen kept good air flow that we didn’t even need to use the ac at all. There is a nice big closet to store your luggage and hang all of your clothes. The bathroom is big and the shower is so lovely. Bed is super soft and comfy. The patio, the privacy of the property and all the trees and flowers were the main reason we chose to stay here, and it was just magical. People talk about all the little noseeums- we didn’t experience any at the Airbnb thankfully! But on some of the beaches and at a few restaurants on the beach- omg they destroy you. I had hundreds of bites all over my legs. Finding this house can be tricky- in Gregory town, the queens highway turns left and goes uphill, Unca Genes bar on the right. Go up the hill a ways and far up on the left is champions bar

Howard & his manager Donna were very responsive. Howard went above & beyond by helping schedule our golf carts, get the ferry & taxi set up way in advance & even helped us set up dinner with Miss Virginia...a must for everyone who comes to the island! The location was magnificent!
