We very much enjoyed our stay at Steven's. It was a very peaceful surroundings with a hot and cold tub and sauna. The living room with a smart TV was a wonderful place to hang out with our family. The kitchen had all of the utensils and cooking appliances we needed and the beds were every comfy. Steven was a very helpful host giving us some ideas of local establishments and responded to our questions about how to set the hot tub temperature slightly higher and the cold plunge slightly colder. The sauna worked perfectly and was a joy to look out over the landscape as we enjoyed sweating. There were plenty of towels for our use. Next time in Austin we are coming to Stevens for sure.

This place is an absolute gem. Wacky and fun, it’s a house with unique charm and character, something that is increasingly rare to find on Air BnB. The bedrooms are a little unconventionally arranged so if privacy for every single bed is your main concern, perhaps it’s not for you. Otherwise you’ll fall in love with this one-of-a-kind place like we did. There were 8 of us staying for SXSW and we really felt like we had a home base. Brian was attentive, flexible and helpful throughout our stay. The neighbourhood is ideal, and walkable. In a world of grey floored rentals and bland, heartless renovations, this spacious home is a whimsical breath of fresh air. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Friendly and thoughtful host, great location (walkable, safe, central). My family all enjoyed their stay, the house felt very comfortable and clean and we were well provided for.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. Perfect for large groups. The extended family stayed here for a week for a wedding. Perfect for for the young ones as well as the older generation. Plenty to do when you are just hanging out together. The location worked well for us. Just a 15 min dive to downtown area and Zilker Park. Ubers were easily available and fairly inexpensive. The house had everything we needed and is exacyas described. Large well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a large group. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have 4 bathrooms and showers for our group. There were plenty of blow dryers for all the bathrooms and also a clothes steamer which came in handy for our wedding clothes. The outdoors area was perfect for a bbq gathering. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub and pool table in the evenings. George was a great host and responded to our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again with a large group!

The cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything was in good working order, it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. A nice, budget friendly, rustic country cottage in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for an anniversary trip, but it would work just as well for bringing the kids. River access was an easy walk, neighbors were friendly, and our host even brought us cookies. Elsewise, Cynthia was very accommodating but unobtrusive. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Perfect location for our stay in Austin! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had booking a house on Airbnb. The house was clean, quite, and comfortable! Larry is very thoughtful and answered all of my questions before I thought to ask. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were all top notch. Flexible check-in and check-out. Just an overall good experience. Top of my list for the next trip to Austin.

Love staying in campfire circle and Donna’s place was no exception. It was perfect for our crew, had stunning views, lots of deer, and each room was cutely decorated for Christmas. The house is FULLY stocked with anything you may need, which is much appreciated. This is how Airbnb used to be before all the good properties were snatched up by corporations. Classic, family owned home with all the charm and attention to detail.

What an amazing place! The studio was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The yard outside the studio was a beautiful spot for outdoor dining on the giant picnic table. We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and sitting by the fire ring in the evening. We loved walking around the ranch and looking at all the flowers, the scenery, the horses (especially the new foal), etc. The hike around the mountain/hill was just strenuous enough with lots of beautiful views (be sure to bring water)! Finally, their spot on the river was perfect. At this time of year many spots have run dry or stagnant, however, at Montesino there was still enough water in the swimming hole to have a good soak. It’s warm (as all Tx rivers are at this time of year), and there’s moss covering the rocks (again, as every river in Tx has right now) but the water is moving so it’s not stagnant and it’s still cool enough before 3 pm to be refreshing! It was a lovely time!

I lived in Austin for 15 years was very familiar with the location so I knew exactly what I was getting into. Great area for restaurants, activities, animals downtown shopping.

Such a beautiful home in a great location. It was super close to everything you would need. House was spotless, rooms were beautiful. I will definitely be coming back.

My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

I had a wonderful stay while on a work trip at Obichukwu Joshua’s condo. Directions were easy to follow for parking and check-in. The condo was clean and nicely equipped. The building is in a beautiful setting along the water with a nice pool area.

The neighborhood was aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located near a variety of retail stores and dining establishments. • The cottage offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, contributing to a comfortable stay. • The backyard space, particularly the hot tub, was a highlight and greatly enhanced our overall experience. • The cottage was well-appointed and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. • Communication with the host, Trisha, was efficient; she provided prompt and helpful responses to all inquiries and was very polite. • The bed provided a high level of comfort throughout our stay. • The outdoor grill was fully functional and user-friendly, with no operational issues encountered. • The deer added a charming touch to our stay. 😍
