Ella : chambres d'hôtel

Very warm welcome in this guest house. The view is beautiful and the food is good. The rooms are very large and the beds too. The building is an old one and is very charming. The bathroom are simple but clean with hot water. Over all, the owner is very very friendly and gave us plenty of advice to discover the region. The lipton’s Seat is a pure beauty, one of our best walk in Sri Lanka with magical landscapes.

Had a great time here, with incredible views. You can even see a waterfall from the room. It looked better than the pictures, and that was a plus.

It was a really nice experience at Ella Alpine resort. Rooms are very clean and from the room there is a nice view to the mountains. Especially staff is very friendly and the location is few minutes away to the Ella town. Further the foods are very tasty 👌🏻

I wished there was a 6th star to rate this place. Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have been to. The view from the beautiful pool, the walks on the countryside from the house located on a remote location on the hills...will make your stay unforgettable. Magical place.

Stunning location and property, we had the most glorious weekend here. If you’re looking for something special to relax this is the place to treat yourself. Loved every minute!

We thoroughly enjoyed our break to Planters House. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven you have found the right place. The gardens and pool area are so peaceful and the views are spectacular. Our room was great and the bathroom lovely too - I even had a nice bath one night. The staff are kind and attentive. We were given a plan for a hike up to Lipton’s Seat from the house. It was a particular highlight for us and we would highly recommend it. The journey up to the house was interesting but once you are there you don’t want to go back down anytime soon!

I recommend this place for all. Best hospitality, hotel very cute, good view and good personal. Monkeys also) in evening you can pass time near swimming pool. Not far from centr, but you can rent tuk-tuk. Here very fresh air.

Wie wurden herzlich empfangen und rundum versorgt. jeden Morgen haben wir ein leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück bekommen, dass sich nach unseren Wünschen richtete. Als wir einmal zu k.o. vom Wandern waren um nochmal losziehen für ein Abendbrot, wurde uns kurzerhand ein leckeres Dinner gezaubert. Die Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und die zahmen und sehr gut gepflegten Hunde. Der Bus hält direkt vor der Unterkunft und man ist in 10 Minuten in Ella und in kurzer Zeit an den verschiedenen Wanderwegen. Wir haben es sehr genossen etwas außerhalb des Trubels von Ella zu sein und haben den traumhaften Blick jeden Tag genossen. Einziger Kritikpunkt war die Straße unterhalb der Unterkunft, die manchmal etwas lauter war. Nur 5-10 Minuten entfernt an der Straße Richtung Ella sind mehrere Einheimische Imbisse mit leckerem Essen zu fairen Preisen zu finden. Insgesamt waren wir rundum begeistert. Vielen Dank für die Schöne Zeit.

Peaceful stay up in the mountains with stunning jungle views. We enjoyed our time here and loved the pool. The amenities were great and made for a comfortable stay. Host was always responsive and very helpful before and during our stay!

The hotel is fabulous. The bedding very clean and comfortable. The room was clean with space ,shower and plenty of wash products. The views were great and location very good for attractions. Food was delicious,plentiful and cheap. The best thing about the hotel was the staff ,particularly Richard and his next in charge (sorry name forgotten ). I couldn't credit more highly. They were wonderful,helpful and friendly. Taking the initiative where necessary too. Lovely to talk to and watch cricket with. Do not hesitate to book. Big Thanks Julie and Matt

Our stay in Ella was absolutely amazing! Nestled in the mountains, the location offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was the natural pool, which required a 15-minute trek but it was well worth the effort for a refreshing dip in such a serene setting. The food was delicious, and the rooms had stunning views, making our experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Janakie, who was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic stay in Ella!

wir waren für 2 Nächte in Ella und freuten uns über eine ruhigere Unterkunft. Der Empfang sowie der Service war wieklich toll. Frühstück konnte kurzfristig bestellt werden und war ausgezeichnet. Wir würden wieder in diese Unterkunft kommen.
