We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

This place was perfect for what we needed - A cool space for our friend group to crash, recharge, and relax after long days of skiing! Convenient location - close to holiday valley but private and secluded from other people.

The place was absolutely perfect for our three families (6 adults, 6 kids) to meet and do a ski weekend at Holiday Valley. Great spot, hot tub was definitely a hit. Host was super responsive too.

We stay in a lot of Airbnb's and this is one of those places that you don't have to worry about anything related to the owners. They are very responsive, they take good care of the place, everything's well thought out, highly recommend.

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

Margaret was an amazing host and her lodge was just what we needed. We had a very last minute reservation and she was able to get us into the lodge promptly. The lodge is a just a quick drive to Holiday Valley. Finding the lodge was easy with her detailed instructions. The lodge fits two families comfortably. The kids enjoyed the board games and we all enjoyed the cozy fireplace after a long day of skiing.

Our stay at Mary Kate's Golden Hill Lodge was a fantastic experience! We drove up from about 3.5 hours away to attend the Snocross race in Salamanca as well as to visit Ellicottville. Even from the beginning, Mary Kate was very friendly and extremely responsive - even going so far as to offer local recommendations on things to do as well as her assistance with anything we may need during our stay. There was roughly a foot of snow on the ground (and more coming down fast) when we first arrived at the lodge, but the plowing service was on the ball with keeping the driveway clean and easily navigable. The space was beautiful, welcoming, and squeaky clean! We very much enjoyed the fireplace and homey feel after long days in the cold and snow. Between the property and host, I do not have enough available characters to express just how lovely everything was. Hopefully we will be back next year! Do not hesitate, just book this beautiful property!!

What a wonderful winter getaway with my family . 7 adults, 2 little ones. Everything was exactly as we expected , description and photos are right on!! Fully stocked Kitchen had everything needed to cook for our crew!! Plenty of room for all of us!! Plenty to do !! Game room was a hit, and large dining table for family games after dinner was perfect !! Village of Ellicottville is drivable in minutes, walking is an option, it was just too cold outside! Everyone asked if we could return !! Host, Mandy was very easy to rent from, easy instructions, to access home and for check out!!

We had such a lovely stay! We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and we were more than comfortable, with beds and rooms to spare. The beds and other furniture were all clean and comfortable for lounging. We cooked several meals and had all kitchen items on hand that we needed. The house was even well equipped for our babies, providing like new travel crib and toddler furniture. EVL is also short drive away. Can’t say enough good things about the house and the host!

Enjoyed our stay and loved the private location. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We stayed during a snow storm and they did a great job of keeping the lane plowed and even shoveled the side walk for us. It was plenty warm enough but I would recommend bringing sleeping bags if you expect temperatures below 20F if you are sleeping in the bunk beds because this is a real log cabin and you can feel the cold coming in through the wall between when the heat kicks on. There's lots of good restaurants nearby in Bradford PA just 4 miles away. It wasn't a bad drive to holiday valley skiing, about 20 minutes. I will probably stay there again.

Amazing place! The host is very responsive and helpful! We had a change on plans last minute and he was very accommodating to all of our needs! We will be going back next year.

Great get away spot with a great view and close to things to do. Cabin was clean and filled with everything you would need for your stay! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be going back!!

We had so much fun during our stay! The place was perfect, that great cabin cozy feel, it was our first time there & it was extremely close to town which made everything so easy for us. The cabin was perfect! It wasn’t close to anyone around us so we really enjoyed! It was a perfect stay for me and my friends to celebrate my birthday! Thank you!

DJs place was wonderful for a ski vacation get away. It is a warm and inviting spot that is quiet. Great for kids and friends to gather and enjoy time together. Would definitely book again!

What a neat little area this is, and this cabin is a gem. We'll be back. There's a small waterfall running around the cabin, the sound of water is peaceful and it is a quiet road

We stayed here because it was a 19 min drive to the Seneca Allegany casino, which we were headed there for a concert. It worked out perfect. There were plenty of cute restaurants/bars in town to stop at before heading to the casino. The area was quiet and safe. The place was clean and as expected.

Everything was great! Darren was super easy to communicate and very accommodating!

We were four adults and two small dogs meeting up for a weekend getaway as we live in different states and don't get to see each other often. The cozy cabin was just that - cozy and comfortable - but still managed to have plenty of space for us all to have privacy when needed. Everything was neat and clean, and the decor was cute. We really enjoyed the game room and the outdoor spaces. Lots of little details were thought of - from dog poop bags to basic spices in the kitchen to citronella candles on the porches (which we didn't need in the spring - no bugs!). We are already planning to go back in the fall!

We had a great stay. All descriptions for the place, photos were accurate, and everything was great. I'd stay here again.
