Great hosts. Cabin was stocked with loads of information about the area and things to do... even a grocery discount card to use. The coffee station has brewed coffee, Keurig, hot tea - very well stocked. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The front and rear porch are very comfortable, with beautiful views. This is one of our favorite places in the mountains to visit. Close to great hiking and lake fishing. A very good value for the money.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ruth's Airbnb, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, Ruth was an incredibly welcoming host, greeting me with warmth and making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space itself was immaculate, festive decorations, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush bedding. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat yet close enough to local attractions. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless experience, providing helpful local recommendations and even a personalized welcome booklet. I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. The place was very clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. Dan was very responsive to any questions I had and had clear instructions for checking in/out.

With it being a tournament weekend and the reason for our stay, it would have been very helpful to have access to charge the boat batteries. Overall, had a very enjoyable visit and will stay again if we are ever in another tournament in Lanier. Thanks, The Roach's

Alex's place was fantastic! I travel a lot for work and had been to the area many times, but this was the first time I really enjoyed my stay. The Apartment is centrally located to everything Gainesville has to offer. The Apartment is very private and yet comfy and inviting. The bed is comfortable. However, as nice as the place is, the greatest thing about booking for Alex is Alex. The host was helpful, flexible, and thorough. At the end of my stay, I was informed by the site where I was working that I needed to stay another day. Alex not only helped me extend my stay, but gave me a better rate for the additional day! I would definitely stay at Alex's apartment again. Having coffee (which Alex provided with cream and sugar to make in the Keurig located in the kitchen) out on the deck in the early morning and listening to the nature surrounding the lake was a truly special experience. Stay at Alex's place. You won't be disappointed.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

My boyfriend, our friend, and I enjoyed our stay at Tom and Christine’s place! We enjoyed sitting on the dock, and the space is very clean and comfortable, and close to everything. We’d love to stay again

Adorable efficiency suite . Great view of the lake and suitable areas to walk our dog. Very clean and quiet. Was an easy drive into Hiawassee.

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

We really enjoyed our stay. From kayaking to sipping coffee on the back porch, it was great. The beds were so comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with all the needs to make it easy to enjoy a cooked meal. We will return!

Had a great stay! While a bit remote, the house was really nice and exactly as pictured. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location on the lake. Bob was responsive and has the house well stocked. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on and exploring the lake.
