I can't say enough about this place and how amazing Mira and Katy were! I wish we would have discovered this AirBnb when our daughter was a Freshman at Iowa State! I stumbled upon this place randomly, and decided we had to try it vs staying at the Gateway like we have for 4 years now. I wish we had more time. Just looking through the books had me fascinated. There are so many books to look through! We had a quiet Friday evening with our daughter at the house, made fondue and snacks, and woke up Saturday morning in the lower level master suite with 2 deer greeting us. I loved every second of our stay, and told Katy it was by far the best AirBnb we have ever been in. I just wish it was available for graduation weekend! This place is a gem, and reading about the architecture, and finding out that there is a connection to Iowa State (teaching there) just made it even better. If you're contemplating booking here... Don't! It's so perfect.

it was a treat to stay here, very comfortable accommodations and close to family. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again ! Kim was very quick to respond to questions, offering an extra night should we need it due to poor weather back home. Being as it was we cut our trip a night short to get home before the snowstorm hit. Highly recommend !

Had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view! Place was big enough for all of us. The only issue was the heat but they are getting that fixed. Would stay here again.

The best place to stay in Fort Dodge! We stayed at Pattee's Place for over 2 months while in town for my husband's job. The home was in perfect condition and had everything you'd need to cook and relax. The quality of the kitchen appliances, pots, pans, and utensils made the stay even better. Pattee thought of everything and was happy to answer any questions we had during our stay. Everything in the house is well labeled, including the lights, so you're never confused on what something does or where something is. When we had snow, Pattee and Tim cleared our sidewalks and driveway for us. We had friends staying in other Airbnbs in the area and ours was, by far, the best one in town. The neighborhood felt very safe and deer regularly walked around outside the windows. We loved our stay at Pattee's cozy Airbnb and would definitely stay here again in the future. Look no further for the best Airbnb in Fort Dodge!

My family and I stayed here for about 2 weeks while I worked in the area. It was such a spacious and nice home, had all the kitchen/bath amenities that are needed and more. It’s a small town in a great neighborhood and couldn’t have been happier. Luz is a very kind and responsive host and would recommend it to anyone needing this size of a home in the area. Thanks a ton!
