Fantastic weekend stay for a hen. House is stunning and exactly as described. Perfect for the weekend.

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect and the beds super comfortable. The view was beautiful,the pictures dont do it justice. We were lucky with the weaher,it was lovely sitting on the decking in the beautiful Autum sunshine. Just wish we stayed longer. Thank you.

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

We had a wonderful stay, and the kids loved running around the gardens, exploring, swimming in the pool and especially saying hello to the horses! The cottage is beautiful, it had everything we needed, and Lara and her family are super helpful. Thank you!

What made our stay so great was the communication we had with Daisy. There were a few snags, parking, getting in the complex late at night without a key code, heating and water didn’t work the first day and the light in the kids room didn’t work. That said, she was incredibly helpful and polite. All sorted quick as a flash. Very clean, free WiFi, all you needed for a nice weekend break. Would 100% go again and recommend to any family. We’re a family of 5 and it was …..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!! Thankyou Daisy! 💙

We were in Felixstowe for a family emergency. Communication was very quick which was appreciated as it was all very short notice. We are familiar with the area and it’s well located with good access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was cosy and warm even though it was extremely cold outside when we were there.

Had a lovely stay here. Found the rooms really spacious and comfortable. It’s a peaceful location yet near the city and has A12 access for a quick getaway. The coffee shop and Coop a few minutes walk away were also really handy for the morning boost and to shop.

The place was nice, clean, and new. Easy communication and very flexible. If you're 8–10 people, the sleeping arrangements are fine, but the living room and kitchen with dining space are a bit on the small side—though this is not hidden in the pictures.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Jo’s house to celebrate our daughter Emma’s 30th birthday. The 9 of us enjoyed a perfect family get together in a part of the country non of us were very familiar with but now love! I wanted beautiful surroundings and this house massively deliverers, we were all on a high for the whole weekend! The house, painted a beautiful Suffolk red, has the most lovely atmosphere. It is furnished extremely nicely with pictures, paintings and plenty of interesting books. The gardens, with beautiful box and topiary yew are superb and larger than I had imagined. As with inside the house there are different, almost secret areas, to enjoy on your own or with others. Our son and his American girlfriend played badminton.The huge swathers of daffodils were at their absolute peak and we loved the views of the estuary and enjoyed fantastic walks from the house in gloriously sunny weather. If you like birds in this peaceful area, there were many varieties including a tawny owl at night!

Perfect destination there was a gym and shop, one minute away for your property felt right at home. Thanks again.Kev

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Marcus ensured we were very well informed before arrival providing a guest book with comprehensive information and recommendations. We were greeted with bottles of wine & the house was very warm & music sound system set up. The barn is absolutely beautiful & immaculate. It is in a very remote area but this suited us all as we were happy to stay in and enjoy it. The log burner, games room & hot tub were added bonuses. A big thank you to Marcus for a truly amazing weekend break away with good friends ❤️

Couldn’t fault this Airbnb, beautifully decorated throughout, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Great sharp knives. Even had a thoughtful welcome pack when we arrived. Carly was very proactive, made sure the place was nice and warm for us . Perfect

Had everything you’d need for a stay - quiet location. Good size rooms, comfy beds. Has all the expected equipment in the kitchen for anyone doing a longer stray or catering for themselves. Would recommend and hope to book again

David and Jo were excellent hosts. Every little detail had been carefully thought out, and taken care of. They were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, and could not have been more helpful. The cottage itself is so charming, and beautifully presented. Quiet and peaceful, a perfect haven to come back to. We will most definitely be back.

A unique Victorian style cottage with everything that you could need. Enjoyed every minute and will definitely return!
