apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

We had a lovely stay here! Such a clean apartment, and so nice to have the pool and gym on site. Our host was so friendly and always answered our questions quickly! She also got us all a little gift each, which was so sweet of her❤️ couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Marleys Cottage is fantastic and the perfect location to explore the south coast. The place itself is good, and had everything we needed for our stay. But the outside space and the plunge pool are the main event. The view is stunning and you're right on the beach. Nishantha greeted us and made us feel at home straight away and was really helpful during our stay.

Excellent sejour dans une maison tres spacieuse sur la plage. La tres grande piscine avec vue sur mer sous les cocotiers a ete tres appréciée. Les petits dejeuners copieux et tres savoureux sont pris sur la grande terrasse abritée avec sur une mer bleu turquoise. La ville est a 5 minutes en tuk tuk ou on trouve de tres bons petits restaurants servant une cuisine typiquement Sri Lankaise. Nous avons tres apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes qui ont été particulierement reactifs pour repondre a nos questions et faciliter nos déplacements pour les activites locales. Nous gardons un bon souvenir des moments de convivialite passés a discuter tous ensembles.

We made a last-minute booking, but everything was very well organized. Podi communicated excellently and provided a clear and detailed description of the place upon our arrival. We especially loved the kitchen and its well-equipped setup, and we truly enjoyed the space as if it were our own home. Highly recommended for long stays and groups!

Great place. Peaceful location 3 miles from Galle Fort and Beaches. Easy access via tuk tuk or car. Prabash can arrange. Very good communication. Beautiful setting amongst tea plantation, coconut and banana trees. Swimming pool is fabulous and tucked away giving good privacy. Good choice of breakfast provided. A very impressive villa …. Fantastic Villa, the pictures don’t do justice to the place - it’s better than what can be seen here. The area outside is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery and the property grounds are perfectly landscaped with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor seating area. The living room and kitchen are fantastic and all essentials are well stocked up. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also up to 5 star quality with clean soft linen. No problems on water and no problems on electricity. The staff doesn’t fully understand English but enough to get through and very helpful. Only draw back is that it is 15-20 mins away from Unawatanu / Galle so you need your own transportation.

It's impossible to adequately describe the beauty and tranquility of Riverview House - both its location and the wonderful Geoffrey Bawa-designed villa and its breezy courtyards. The master bedroom suite is bigger than a tennis court! You throw open the blinds in the morning to a heavenly hazy view of the pool and river, right from your bed. It's all so inexpensive - yet there's no catch! You've simply chosen an untouristy part of Sri Lanka! Three of us stayed a fortnight, with two nights away touring the elephants and tea plantations, organised by Andrew's contacts - a fraction of the price of others. Miles of empty clean beaches (in parts eminently swimmable) a ten minute tuk tuk drive away, with restaurants serving jumbo prawns caught last night from a traditional canoe just outside your window. Daily Sri Lankan feasts provided by the endlessly helpful Janake and Malan. Nature in abundance - monkeys, sea eagles, mongooses, iguana, heron. And almost no mozzies! Authentic Sri Lanka.

Wij verbleven in een geweldige bungalow op een prachtig landgoed en kunnen deze plek van harte aanbevelen. De ligging is perfect: centraal en vlakbij de populaire gebieden Unawatuna en Galle. Het landgoed heeft een heerlijke tuin waar je volledig tot rust kunt komen. Wat deze plek echt uniek maakt, is de ecologische aanpak gecombineerd met moderne faciliteiten. Het is duidelijk dat er veel aandacht is besteed aan duurzaamheid en comfort. Het personeel en de eigenaar zijn ongelooflijk vriendelijk en zorgen ervoor dat je je direct thuis voelt. De omgeving is levendig en vol natuur. We hebben genoten van de vele vogels, speelse eekhoorns en nieuwsgierige apen die het landgoed bezoeken. Tot onze verrassing graasden er ook twee koeien op een deel van het terrein, wat bijdroeg aan de authentieke en serene sfeer. Kortom, een fantastische plek om te verblijven en te genieten van rust, natuur en gastvrijheid. Wij komen zeker terug!
