Отличное и тихое место, красивая территория, вечером можно прогуляться вокруг озера или покататься на каяке) На ферме много животных: коровы, куры, овцы) Красивый дом с хорошо оборудованной кухней, рядом с домом есть дровяной чан, можно в нем попариться) Также при желании можно половить рыбу). Есть также рядом с домом костровище, вечером можно посидеть у костра) Очень отзывчивый хозяин, все нам показал и рассказал в первый день приезда, всегда был на связи) Я однозначно рекомендую этот коттедж, где можно просто побыть наедине с собой и полюбоваться природой)

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

Fantastic stay! We’d love to come back

This is a really lovely location, with great view of the Tugela River and the Colenso hills. Very peaceful and comfortable stay and an extremely well-equipped kitchen! The farm milk is a perfect extra touch. Just be aware that the last few kilometres are over extremely poor roads so avoid driving there during darkness.

Good value

Absolutely stunning views. Beautifully furnished and some great original art. Unexpected surprise that bread, eggs, yoghurts etc were provided for the first day breakfast. Very well located for holidaying in the Midlands, and only 4km from Tumbledown Restaurant which is absolutely superb! We will be back!

Great stay. Just bad gravel road that needs to be maintained, and we could not get rid of the garbage during the week. But very nice and remote stay.

We enjoyed Dargle's magic and storybook beauty at Kilgobbin farm. The cottage is neat and charming, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing views over the gardens, fields and forest from every window. Perfect, peaceful escape from the city and excellent hosts, thanks so much.

The photos don’t do the view and size of the place justice, it was an incredible place to recharge and it felt very safe for my family.

We enjoyed the gorgeous views across a tranquil valley and loved the walks through the gentle hills, dotted with various buck along the way. There is also so much to see and do in the area - if you can pull yourself away from the very comfortable and cosy home. Great family time and a wonderful escape from the city. Thank you, Kim!

Hilda was so friendly and nice. We felt quite at home.

From the moment you arrive, you are met with majestic mountains. The space is well maintained and spacious. Great for families. So incredibly quiet and peaceful. Lots of local birds pop in to visit. Good hikes in the area. Pack an extra torch as the power can sometimes go out, but there is a gas stove and small backup inverter. Worth a visit!

Linda is such an amazing host, she was so helpful and responsive to questions that we had for her. Her home is perfectly positioned in front of the most beautiful Drakensburg mountains. Last but not least her home is clean and beautiful, we will definitely be going back soon.
