I was in love as soon as I walked through the door!!! It was an extremely peaceful and close to everything!!! It was exactly what I was looking for!!

Our stay at Bob’s place was perfect. He was an excellent communicator online and in the unit- items were clearly labeled and thoughtfully considered. Detailed instructions and recommendations allowed for seamless checkin, fantastic restaurant recommendations and checkout. Clean, excellent location, my only regret was not enough time enjoying that beautiful area. Thank you - already recommending to my friends and family.

My husband and I booked this property to celebrate our 22nd anniversary, and it surpassed our expectations. The location was fabulous, in walking distance of all restaurants, bars and stores with plenty to do. The balcony with its spectacular view made for a perfect evening with a glass of wine. We will definitely be back!

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 and there was enough space for us. My boys enjoyed the pool even though the water was still a bit cold. We loved sitting on the dock in the morning and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

There are not enough words to adequately describe how much we appreciated this place. Everything was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet, the wildlife are fun to watch and we felt home away from home. The dock was nice to enjoy. Being able to overlook the city across the river was great too. This location is close enough to everything that you can be downtown New Bern within minutes, but far enough away to be peaceful. The bed is super comfortable! The shower is perfect. Kitchen amenities are exactly what you need for a getaway, complete with spices (which we have found are scarce in some locations). If you’re looking for all the things that are important - peaceful, serene, things to do nearby - THIS IS IT!

The review provided was actually not the Salty Seahorse, but to a single home in Kure Beach, one block from the ocean. Due to an unforeseen maintenance need, Carrie Ann reached out and offered her newly acquired Kure Beach home for our upcoming stay in Wilmington. Host, Carrie Ann, was very attentive and accommodating and luckily had a location where we could stay. The home was spotless, very nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen - plenty of everything needed! The bathroom provided toiletries and an ample supply of linens. The furniture was comfortable, including the porch table, chairs and umbrella - where we enjoyed coffee each morning. There was a slight drain issue to which we reached out to Carrie Ann and she immediately responded. The problem was quickly and thoroughly dealt with within about an hour of my reaching out to her. I would highly recommend this home and, Carrie Ann exceeded my definition of a super host or prime host! Excellent experience!

My cousin and I had a stay-cation to get away from the flow of day to day life. We had a great time and I know we were a bit noisy one of the nights dancing listening to music. Chris and Andi were very understandable. The place was beautiful and spacious for just the two of us. Perfect for a last minute weekend getaway.

Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Gregory's place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Gregory was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the host via a phone call. The space was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Gregory's property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

Beautiful house with plenty of room for us. The house is very clean and within walking distance to the beach and activities.

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

We have now stayed here two years in a row. We have an annual fishing trip that this place works perfectly. It is everything that is distributed and then some. What a beautiful place to watch a sunrise and sunset. Johnna is always very responsive and super helpful. What a great host. We will be back to get some more relaxation in.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tara's. Wonderful location, with a view of the river and the battleship. Can't beat the location -- walkable to downtown Wilmington's many restaurants, cafes, shops & galleries. We loved walking the neighborhoods. The condo is roomy and airy, with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

We have already recommended MK's place to some others - however, we did warn them that the unit was up 34 stairs! There was nothing in the property description to indicate that and for a couple of 73 year olds the climb with all our stuff was too much. Thankfully we had our young strong kids along! We always appreciate being able to bring our dog along, and he, along with the rest of us, totally enjoyed the 2 private balconies. The ac was plenty cold, the dryer not so hot. Beds comfortable, covered parking a plus, and we all enjoyed the pool. Location was the best, able to walk to every place, and that made it worth the 34 stair climb. Highly recommend Hang Ten Grill for huge salads and best wings ever, Salt Fish for yummy cocktails and deliciously unique entrees ( make a reservation), the Fat Pelican for a fun experience. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

I’ve stayed here several times now. The view, location, free parking spot, and really comfortable bed keep this one as my favorite place to book when I come to town.

Very clean and comfortable condo. Our host was very friendly and kind. The only downside was that we booked the condo thinking that we could sit by the pool. While we weren't super concerned with being able to get in the water, we thought we would be able to at least sit in the pool area to get some sun in between doing things around Wilmington and the beach. We may have booked something with a patio or balcony instead, had we known that the outside sesting area wouldn't be usable. If you're booking your stay here with the intention of being able to use the pool, I'd just check with the host first, as we checked out on 3/31 and the pool and pool area were torn up and empty as of this date.

The perfect location for exploring Wilmington’s historic district. Lots of great restaurants and attractions are all within walking distance. The view of the battleship was quite unique.

Mike’s place was awesome for a quick weekend trip! The view was phenomenal and loved the convenience of the location. I like staying in downtown Wilmington when I come and this spot was perfect (right by all the restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc.) Parking is off site but it’s very manageable and Mike gives extremely clear instructions on how to get there. I also liked how the TVs had clear labels for buttons/ways to troubleshoot as needed. Bed and couch were sooo comfortable and we got great sleep each night. Would love to come back when it gets warmer out!

I have stayed at a few of Corey and Hayden’s units. They are always clean and the hosts are always responsive with questions and resolve any issues quickly. I would definitely recommend.

This place was perfectly located on the river walk and downtown. Every place we wanted to visit was within walking distance. Safe area too, my sister and I didn’t feel unsafe at all the whole time we were there!
