For our first time in Marion Bay, The Plover was the perfect place to stay. The Plover was a very clean tidy home away from home. It had everything we needed, quiet and comfortable. Will definitely be recommending staying here to our friends and family!

Great second floor apartment in Kingscote with a beautiful balcony view of the ocean and wharf area. The apartment is well-appointed with comfy bedding, plush towels, and fully equipped kitchen. I am a swimmer so enjoyed the public tidal pool just down the street. Lots of restaurants, although most stop serving at 8 pm. Rachel was a wonderful host, always immediately responsive. I asked her for a 3-day itinerary and she came up with the perfect itinerary based on my interests.

Perfect location. Able to walk to penneshaw and explore very easily. Affordable and convenient. Eleanor was very good to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a beautiful stay at Neil's place. He was very helpful and thoughtful and made special efforts to make our time memorable. The place is perfect to walk to the beach and the local shops, and was peaceful and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here.

Our 2 br unit was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Close enough to the town centre - supermarket and cafes and worked well as a base for the rest of the island. Kirsty made contact during our week's stay to make sure we had all we needed and we sure did.

Great spot in great location. Unfortunately there were some civil works being undertaken in the boat ramp car park during our stay which meant it was quite noisey with trucks and diggers from early morning. In saying that would definitely stay again once works are complete!

This Airbnb is an absolute gem! If I could, I would give 6 stars out of 5. It is located in a tranquil coastal community with amazing wildlife. You will see koalas on the trees right in front of the house, kangaroos hopping in the back garden, and echidnas trying to find food in the front garden. I should also mention the amazing starry sky. Nevertheless, it is only a short drive to Kingscote, which is the biggest town on the island. The Airbnb itself is very spacious and has a beautiful sea view. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and has everything that you need. And when I say "everything", I really mean "everything"! It's not the typical Airbnb kitchen, which has all the basics, but you could tell that Herb really made an effort to equip the kitchen as if it were your home. Herb himself is an absolute gentleman, who welcomed us personally, showed us around and helped us a lot to plan our stay on the island. He provides a lot of local information and is lovely to talk to.

Fantastic stay. The location itself was amazing - whisper quiet, within the Carrickalinga dark sky community (so some excellent star viewing at night) yet only 5 mins drive to the excellent Normanville shops and modern surf lifesaving club. The house itself was very spacious - easily accomodating our family of 5. On hot summer nights there were portable fans for use in the bedrooms (which was needed). Fiona was always contactable and great to deal with.

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

Ellen's home is in a perfect location. Ocean views and very easy 30 second walk to the ocean. A .5 minute walk to the village of Penneshaw. Her home is equipped with everything you could ask for. Nothing left out. The furniture is all good quality and comfortable. Highly recommend Ellen's home to anyone from couples to families.

What a great place to stay. Location was excellent, walking distant to everything. Very relaxing. Would highly recommend visiting the Island and staying at SALT!

Absolutely beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. Our two little kids loved playing outside in the cubby and boat, and there were lots of toys and games to keep them occupied. Table tennis table was great for the grown ups! Kitchen was spacious and well stocked, bathrooms very clean, and lots of space to spread out. It was lovely to sit out on the deck and watch the roos and wallabies come out in the mornings and evenings. The only downside we found to this lovely house was that the bedrooms got quite hot in the afternoons and the a/c doesn’t reach that far to cool them down (it mainly does the living spaces and the master bedroom). Only an issue for us because the kids needed to have afternoon naps in there. Opening the windows in the evenings helped cool things down for the night. Thank you Tamara for having us. We would love to come again!

We had a great time and Lauren was a great host. We had a minor issue and she fixed it very promptly. Only downside was air-conditioning struggled to reach the bedroom but this was during a week long of over 30 degree weather.

My family loved our stay at Rose’s beach house on Kangaroo island. The house looked better than the photos! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable. The deck looked out to the ocean and had lots of seating. The IGA is close by (you can even walk). The location is also close to the sculpture trail. I would recommend Graceland to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island.
