The location is very private and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and very clean. The hot tub was fired up ready to go. Shyla (the neighbor’s dog) was a great companion. She was so sweet and guarded our little cabin. The location was easy to find and only about 5 minutes from town. Will definitely stay again.

My wife & I enjoyed finding some time outside of the city to reconnect with ourselves, each other, & nature. We explored the rocks, took in the views, & used the hot tub several times! I loved the detailed decorations & the fire pit outside. It was a peaceful & unique stay. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

Fantastic getaway in Fredericksburg! The cabin was darling and we enjoyed saying hi to animals in the mornings. The location both to town and the Wineries off HWY 290 was perfectly in the middle. King beds were luxurious, kitchen was well equipped, and the hot tub was toasty in the evening! Ryan was a very communicative host.

The place was great getaway, exactly as described. The host was very communicative and proactive. Would definitely recommend to others!

If you are looking for a place to unplug and reconnect, this is it. The cabin is just as described and in the pictures. The only disappointment for us was not being able to use the fire pit/fireplace due to the burn ban.

We stayed for a romantic weekend and cannot wait to come back. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed, and was nice and private. I particularly loved the claw foot tub- such a treat to soak! I also appreciated the clear instructions on how to find the cabin. 5 stars.

We knew as soon as we pulled up we had picked a good spot. The cabin stands out. Very quaint. The inside was decorated just right- not too cluttered or too sparsely. The TUB!!! Omg - we loved it. We Will definitely come back. Within easy driving distance of downtown or even walking distance if you like walks.

I booked this cabin for my fiancés birthday. I was looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy nature, and feel far from the city and busy schedules. This place did not disappoint! We were able to spend quality time together while hanging out in the river or simply enjoying the ambience of the cabin and property. Bonus points for being pet friendly! I loved being able to include my Pebbles in our trip and adventures!

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!

we discussed over the phone that our reason for visiting was to get away for my sons birthday and they remembered that. They checked on us every day. They were very good host.

Liked it so well last year, we stayed this year. Some maintenance issues found but communicated them and should be resolved by the next person’s stay.

It is safe to say that our family has made Callie's cabin our favorite retreat. Just 20-minutes from our home in San Antonio, when we stay here we feel like we are completely alone with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We love that the cabin is always amazingly clean and well-maintained, yet we love that it feels older and is very rustic! Callie is always super communicative and extremely prompt in replying to any question or request. I probably ought to stop writing these reviews because we hope the calendar will never be too full ;-) as you can bet we'll keep coming back!

What a peaceful place to visit. The surrounding views are breathtaking. We loved the amenities and the how everything we needed was at reach. The property was perfect for our family group from sleeping arrangements to fun activities outside the cabin. A BIG THANK YOU to our hosts for making it so easy to check in and out. Will definitely be back soon.

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

Perfect location to attend a wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch!

Litzy was extremely flexible and responsive to all my questions and requests. I asked for flowers and candy to be waiting and she fulfilled my personal request in grand fashion. Litzy allowed us to check in early and leave late which made our stay easy going. The space is generous for a couples getaway and having a firepit to light up was a perfect way to end the night. I only wish our G unit had it's own firepit in the front. We certainly will be returning on our next adventure to Fredericksburg.

Perfect family Thanksgiving holiday! We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and walking distance to the cute shops. The stove /oven temperature was inconsistent. We had to rotate the turkey every 30 mins. to ensure that it was completely cooked. The turkey was a success and a great meal was had by all. We highly recommend the Pioneer Cabin!

My friends and I went here for a girls night, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was a touch hot, luckily I had an extra fan in my car that we were able to use to help cool it down some!

A great getaway cabin. A great place to stay if you are planning to visit Fredericksburg or just want a weekend surrounded by nature.

The small cabin was perfect for us and our grandson! We were able to cook our meals inside as there was a burn ban for outside grilling. We enjoyed the peaceful nature of the RV park with a nice sunset view. We took advantage of the pool( though a bit cold in March) We were close enough to downtown and Enchanted Rock to explore both. Everything was very clean and the Keurig coffee and wine glasses were a bonus.
