Had a wonderful weekend at Northcourt house. Beautiful property with everything we needed. Clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect when you travel and cook for a larger group of people. Peaceful surroundings and James is a helpful and friendly host.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was 5*, very peaceful and comfortable.

Due to the fantastic photos on Airbnb our expectations were already high, but reality by far exceeded all our expectations. We really spent a perfect week in the wonderful Garden Apartment in Acton Castle. Maybe the most impressive is the incredible view over the bay of Penzance with the spectacular St. Michael's Mount as its central point. You can enjoy this fantastic view from the living room, from the breakfast table or even when doing the dishes in the kitchen. Another highlight is the garden which is really beautiful with a nice pond, wonderful plants and flowers and many great places to sit and enjoy the view. Also the 18th century Acton Castle is a very beautiful and really impressive building. The apartment is ideal for a family like ours with 2 children. The main sleeping room has its own bathroom with toilet and shower. The main bathroom has a bathing tub with shower and another toilet. The appartment has two floors. Sleeping rooms and bathrooms are in the basement, while living room and kitchen are in the first floor with its incredible view. The appartment offers a lot of space for a family of four and we weren't missing anything. You reach the costal path within two minutes from the garden. We did a very nice walk to St. Michael's Mount. Acton Castle is also a good starting point for many activities in the area. You can easily reach Penzance, St. Ives, the Lizard Peninsula and many, many more great places by car. There are several big supermarkets in the direction towards Penzance which you can reach within 10 minutes by car. Garden Apartment in Acton Castle is a really perfect place to spend a perfect holiday and we definitely give a 5 star recommendation. Thanks to Tim for giving us the possibility to enjoy this great place and the area around it.

Stunning place , we had an amazing time , and did a couple of activities. The grandchildren and children loved the maze the lock , the boat ! Magical memories! Thank you to all the lovely staff too ! Xx

It was so quiet! The cottage was lovely and well provisioned. Despite being cold outside the cottage stayed warm at all times. It's a short walk to the centre of the lovely Cotswold town of Winchcombe which has plenty of good eateries and drinking places. We had a great weekend and we're glad we chose this cottage to stay in.

Fantastic place to stay, beautiful surroundings, very welcoming. excellent optional tour of the castle itself which was well worth the small charge. although an old building we were comfortable and warm, extremely comfortable bed, a bit too comfortable, I slept alot. amazing bathroom facilities with heated flooring. Outstanding value for money.

Beautiful house! Really loved the layout as we have stayed in other big places which often feel like a maze! Very clean and tidy, everything we needed. We all had a wonderful stay with the family! Close walk into swanage too!

Really great family cottage. Had everything you could need, including some toys in the attic room our 3 year old loved playing with. Beautiful location with walking right outside the front door

Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay at Seacombe 7 of us plus a dog. A very comfortable house overall with very comfy beds and good linen, enough bathrooms to go round and well equipped in the kitchen. Lovely peaceful location with a pub over the road with plenty of walks and sights nearby. Thank you!

Thanks so much for another wonderful break in your amazing house. It always feels such a treat when we come back. This time it was for my brother's 40th and to be near my parents to celebrate. We were lucky to have a sunny day for our walk to the Red Lion for lunch. We didn't want to leave - looking forward to returning!

Just stayed for the weekend for my sisters hen party. What can I say it was the most beautiful grounds You can imagine. We had the amazing weather and sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine it was like being in the South of France. The views are out of a post card. We had the most amazing time. The venue is so gorgeous and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s really unique. Scott is so accommodating and helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time thank you.

Perfect location for our family gathering. Lance was a great host nothing was too much trouble. House was great, good size for all of us. We would have loved to looked around the local area and walk ok the shore but we came during a storm. No one was bored at anytime staying in for 3 days though. Thank you for helping us make my husband’s 40th one we will never forget!

We had the loveliest stay at Castle Folly in Warwick, made even more special by our amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every little detail had been thoughtfully planned. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—a delicious cake for a birthday celebration, leaving a bottle of prosecco, and even our initials in wood on the windowsill! The breakfast was just as thoughtful—fresh bread, two perfectly placed eggs, and many sweet little treats. Every part of the stay was sprinkled with kindness, from the handwritten notes to the charming knights. We just couldn’t have asked for a better or more generous host. The warmth and hospitality made this one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences we've ever had. If you're looking for a truly magical and unique getaway, this is the place to be!

We had an incredible family weekend with two young children. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like home. The kitchen was the heart of the house for us, fully equipped with everything we needed. The unique charm of the house was a delightful touch, and the kids had a blast exploring both indoors and out. Marcus, the host, went above and beyond—he even came out to find us when we had trouble locating the entrance. He gave us a comprehensive tour and made sure we knew how everything worked. The pool area was wonderfully private, and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The rooms were very comfortable, with stunning furniture and textiles. The grounds were breathtaking, providing the perfect setting for al fresco dining in a peaceful and glorious environment. Shame we hadn't planned a longer stay.

Words cannot describe how incredible this cottage is. With stunning views of the beach and Bamburgh castle from the snug to beautifully decorated interior. We absolutely loved staying at Eight Bells Cottage! Graeme and Grace are fantastic hosts, leaving clear instructions by air b&b chat and a little folder in the cottage with everything we needed to know, including restaurants and some amazing walks. You can really tell the love and proud ownership of this home. The cottage itself is so cosy and super clean! It really felt like home away from home, we settled right in and struggled to decide where to retire for our evenings as everywhere was super snuggly. The pictures don’t do this place justice, we absolutely loved our time here and so sad that we had to come home. We will definitely be making it a habit to return to Eight Bells Cottage.

Great place to stay. Host was making a fire ready for us when we arrived. Absolutely quirky castle and a great place to stay. Cold at first but warmed up lovely. Beds comfy and enjoyed the break. Will definitely look to stay again when we visit our friends in Abergele. Thank you

Pele Tower is a beautifully and lovingly restored building, and Ann and Andy have thought of pretty much everything. Every time we needed something, it was already there. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and got us immediately set up for the week. The pictures are 100% representative and in fact don’t do it justice. Ann and Andy are absolutely lovely too. Had a lovely week working from Killington and exploring the area and would very much recommend.

We wanted something peaceful and in the countryside and this was perfect. A little town nearby for a wander round and a good pub for a nice meal at The Raven. The log burner was a great feature for us too to be able to sit and chat and relax in the evening. If you want to get away from your everyday routine modern life this will be as perfect for you as it was for us. Also the hosts responded quickly and were really friendly and helpful.

A great short break at Lucy’s house. The host was very helpful with all queries and communications answering very quickly. The instructions and house descriptions were accurate. We were able to park in a nearby side street 5 minutes walk away and left the car there. The house was warm and cosy and beds very comfortable. Although the kitchen is small it was completely adequate and well equipped. The stairs to the loft room are very steep but we knew this on booking. Everywhere was clean and lots of fluffy towels for all 5 guests. For a town centre location within the towns castle walks it was so quiet. We went for a men’s short break. The Roebuck pub literally on the doorstep is a great traditional old pub. A good range of cask beers and at cheap prices. The Tapps is a new venue dedicated to craft beers and again is right in the town. For a great breakfast or lunchtime snack the Cantin by the library is brilliant.
