A gem of an escape, the most beautiful, peaceful location. Stunning pebble beach, gorgeous scenery, excellent walking routes on the coastal path to Seatown, Golden Cap, West Bay and beyond. No light pollution so stargazing on a clear night was perfect. The Ark is immaculately clean with a modern, comfortable interior containing everything you could wish for during your stay. Lovely outside decking area with picnic table together with sun loungers and deckchairs which was well used by us as we were blessed with warm, sunny weather. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending to friends (even though I’d really like to keep it a secret!).

Beautiful and immaculate house with everything you need and more. The location couldn’t be better - literally a minute’s walk from the seafront with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Pearl and Nathan were so helpful and responsive- they gave us lots of brilliant recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We had three generations staying, including teenagers, and everyone had a fantastic time. We’re already talking about when we can stay there again! A real gem!

Mark and Vanessa were excellent hosts, extremely responsive, professional, welcoming and thoughtful. Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely house in a great location. Watchet is a friendly and interesting little town. Parking in a nearby car park was straightforward. Communications from the hosts were friendly - and the instructions were clear, comprehensive and unfussy.

York House, attached to the royal York hotel, is a stunning setting to either relax and unwind in Sidmouth or explore the Devonshire coast. We stayed over New year for a week, and what a break. So relaxing. The house was comfortable, homely and perfect for four adults and two children. you can hear noise from neighbouring places, which didn't bother us but on the first night did worry us as could hear footsteps. don't be alarmed it's just upstairs! Amenities both in the house and I'm local area are perfect. lovely bathrooms and showers. televisions smart with all streaming options could need! would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to everyone. Lastly, the view, undisturbed, perfect sea view, watching the sun rise and sun set, the sound of waves whilst drifting to sleep was idyllic!!

Clean, cosy and comfortable and still feels new. Good shower and comfy beds (although my 5’6 son said the single bed was a bit short and narrow for him - the only issue as everything else was perfect). The holiday park is quiet and well maintained, we enjoyed the heated pool and dog walking area around the fishing lake. The pygmy goats are so cute!

We had a great weekend in this villa with a private pool. I have nothing but positive things to say about the host( Jessica ) and the house. The house is very spacious with comfortable furniture, and fully equipped bathrooms. In addition, the pool/ ping pong table added so much value to our time spent there. The heating was easy to use and made the house comfortably warm and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The place is so close to the beach as well. Jessica has been an amazing host, always responsive and ever so kind.

Amazing as always! So much to do with our daughter and we felt right at home as we did last year. Abi as always is an amazing host and extremely responsive. The lodge was warm and felt just like home. The beach, activities and restaurants were great. Thanks you Abi 😄

Wow! We had such a lovely family stay at Sea Breeze. Donna and Steve were fab hosts! Firstly the communication from Donna was fantastic and she answered all my queries in advance. The place is more like a modern apartment than a caravan and had all the added items such as the dishwasher, washer/drier etc. Plus loads of lovely extras that you just done normally expect such as fans, beach towels, kitchen/cleaning products etc. You can really see how Donna and Steve have really tried to think of everything. The caravan is located in a lovely part of the site with short walks to the main complex or the beach. Passes can be purchased in advance for the swimming, activities and entertainment and Donna was helpful in getting these sorted for us. Thank you Donna and Steve, we will be back!

Lovely stay in stunning Ladram Bay. Beautiful walks in the area and close to a picture perfect Devon village with a pub and tea rooms.

Such an amazing property in a great, central location. The house was very clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Julie was a great host with good communication.

What a lovely little get away we had. Great location, great host who was friendly and got back to us straight away. We were literally a 4 minute drive from Charmouth beach. When we arrived we noticed there were a lot of nice personal touches that made it feel very homely. It was clean, quiet and overall a great place to stay in a beautiful part of the country. Thanks a lot. We hope to be there again 🙂 I would highly recommend this host if you want a stress free experience for your holiday.

Fabulous country home walking distance to beach, pub and great hiking paths. Very cozy & warm. Our family loved our 3 nights and wished it was longer!

Great host and a great house to get around in Porthcawl so central to everything. Dave and Malcolm were the most helpful people and there was always a quick response to any queries. Would definitely stay again 😃

The place and area was lovely with a shop less than a minute walk from the door and walkable beach access. The host was super friendly and gave us a great recommendation that came in super handy. Couldn't recommend the host more 👍

The location is about as central as you can get, with good parking and easy walking to most parts of Sidmouth. The house is well furnished and the bathrooms are very new and very clean. The kitchen is extremely well fitted out and is a great place for family gatherings! The outside kitchen BBQ would be great in Summer; we were there in February and still used the BBQ because it is a great covered area...and the BBQ kit is fantastic....bet BBQ i've ever cooked on. It also great being part of the hotel because there is always someone on hand to help out (we simply needed some more bin bags) Great place to stay for a large group and would stay again.

The flat was clean, welcoming and felt relaxing as soon as we got there. Great to have some games to choose from too.

Great host communication throughout, house as described, super clean, bright and fresh, well equipped and nice touches. We were visiting family in Exmouth but turned out to be a great location to explore the local area. Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended 😎

We had a lovely few days at Tess's place. The location was great, really well equipped and lots of toys for my 2 year old to enjoy! The stair gates were definitely an added bonus. Lyme very walkable from the cottage!

We had a fabulous stay for Christmas with our family! The house is very stylish and spacious, and was perfect for us to celebrate together. We were delighted that our host Lisa had decorated the house for us and even put a tree in the kitchen. Lisa and Matt were really responsive when we had an issue with the boiler - sorted within the hour. The bedrooms were super comfortable with gorgeous bed linen, and plenty of bathrooms for all the family. Great location, close to the town and beach and easy street parking. Would definitely recommend.
