Wonderful and quaint little home. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house and not at an Airbnb. Everything was spotlessly clean, including all the nicknacks, which I was impressed by! Would stay there again next time we are in Bakewell. One thing that is 100% not her fault but future guests should be aware of: we have O2 and Vodaphone mobile providers and 4G coverage was very spotty in the house and around town in general. If I were staying there again, I would purchase the EE WiFi on the first night that is available in the house and just plan on using that for my visit.

Rachael has a top AirBnB rating because her place is superbly located and thoughtfully set-up. The cottage is very light, spacious, super comfortable and clean, and has all that you could want for a relaxing stay. Standout details are the list of walks and places to eat and drink, the views from the house, the really well equipped kitchen – and not forgetting Rachael’s greeting with a tin of home baked brownies, 2 ponies and 2 dogs! And the stag with antlers running in the next field… We will be booking our next stay at Rachael and Gerry’s cottage soon and hope to book the neighbouring Stables Cottage and superb looking cabin too for a visit with family.

Have been to the cottage several times now and it is always a joy. Very well presented, clean and very cozy. Jane provides a lovely welcome pack that includes, amongst other coffee, cake, biscuits etc so that after a long journey you can immediately begin to relax with your favourite brew. The kitchen has everything you would need and this year has the inclusion of an airfryer, which came in very handy for cooking the sausages on our final morning. Can’t wait till our next visit.

I booked the Hobbit Hut for a surprise for my mum for Mother’s Day and it was truly a wonderful weekend. Nicola is such a kindhearted and attentive host and she made our stay so lovely. The hut itself was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved sitting outside the hut and in the amazing wood-fired hot tub as it was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the local area and the pub just up the road served great food. We would definitely recommend the hut to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful off-grid experience and think it would be amazing to stay there at anytime of year.

A great place to stay, a lovely well equipped cottage, with fantastic views and friendly and responsive hosts. There's lots to do in Matlock Bath, we had a great time here.

Had a wonderful stay in the Milking Parlour, everything was spot on! Very comfortable and cosy space with all the essential amenities. We loved the farm and looking out over the goats, sheep and chickens and across the beautiful countryside of the Peak District. Had a lovely dinner in the nearby Packhorse Inn which we booked in advance. Julia was a great host, we highly recommend the Milking Parlour.

The most incredible and relaxing getaway!! 🤩 I booked this glamping pod as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and it could not have been better! The lodge itself was absolutely stunning and full of character and with the additional romance package added, made for the most perfect and romantic surprise. The wood fired hot tub was secluded down a little path, with fairy lights hanging above and surrounded by trees, it was such a peaceful atmosphere! Our host Saffron also could not have been more helpful, she was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience simple and stress free! We also had the opportunity to pay for a later checkout! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough will definitely be returning in summer! 🤩

What a lovely place with beautiful surrounding areas. A great pub close by and so easy to get too. The house was sooo nice and had everything we needed. Thank you we will be back 😀

Had amazing weather but hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in the UK. Stunning views from the hut. Complete peace.
