It was a lovely place to stay, the beach was within walking distance and the yard was safe and secure, great for the doggies . Glenda was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Our family had the most wonderful weekend stay at the Kalorama Cottage. Our last little getaway as a family of 4! Our daughter loved the place so much that she asked if we could stay forever. Clean and beautifully kept cottage with everything you need, surrounded by nature. Jade and Daniel were very welcoming and very proactive with communication prior to check-in and throughout our stay. Thank you both so much for sharing your place with us!

Stephen's place is fantastic... a perfect quiet location, with a great view. Just round the corner from a range of wineries (Yarra Yering is really good)... the cabin is super well equipped, with a fantastic wood fired pizza oven and small fire pit overlooking the great view m. Bring some mozzie spray as there are some biters kicking around. Really can't fault the place for location, facilities and hosting... Woof Woof the friendly Jack Russell also came to say hello. Would stay here again in a heartbeat (and we will be back I'm sure!) :)

To say that Richard's post and photo description doesn't do justice to this beautiful listing is an absolute understatement. What a stunning and nostalgic Australian sea dream-scape. If nothing convinces you then the view will win your heart. We are so glad to have chosen this spot, and so grateful for Richard for making it such a memorable weekend. We were three couples with one toddler and had more than an abundance of living space. We felt like we had stepped into our retro childhoods - but with the breeze of sea and salt! It's evident from the thoughtful touches and quirks that the owners have shown great care and consideration for the presentation and preservation throughout this established home. The endless garden was beautifully maintained, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, bathrooms were well kept, kitchen was diligently supplied, and there were enough couches to sprawl out for days. But again, the sunsets and rises on the deck were the reason we'll be back again!

Michael place was an amazing hideaway in the middle of lots of bushes. We checked in after sunset so it was dark although we could hear the sound of waves hitting the shore clearly. Next morning the view was spectacular, the firepit is an great, cozy addition. Amenities were all as described. Little thoughtful touches within the house makes it more beautiful. Just suggestion to take along paper towel roll, chux & facial tissues as they weren't available & the closest IGA was just a 9min drive. Also, we had to find the closet that had towels, they weren't kept on the bed or in the bathroom. Wonderful place, cozy firepit, comfy beds & amazing host.

really well priced place, has everything you need. can accommodate a number of guests. has a fully enclosed yard so kids and dogs can play outside without direct supervision. was really great to be able to take our 2 dogs away with us to enjoy the weekend as a whole family. a 5 minute walk to the beach just at the end of the quiet street the property is located on. has all the comforts you require. heating, cooling, comfortable seating, and bedding, Wi-Fi and even a pretty cool man cave with a coonara which would be great to entertain even in the winter months. Highly recommend.

Very cool style house. As pictured. Not too far from both the beach and 15 minute walk to town. The kids enjoyed all the extras books, board games etc. Responsive host.

Frank was great to communicate with and very accommodating, even with last-minute changes. Frank's home is wonderful, spacious and very clean. The Balcony is to die for, and I wrote a chapter for my next book on the swinging chair. The only slight disappointment was that the pool is actually a pond. You can dip in it, but it is not for swimming laps it is relatively small and full of fish. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, endlessly quiet, beautiful sunrises from the comfort and warmth of your bed.

Loved staying here! I signed up for my first marathon and not only did Steve wish me all the best he managed to make it possible to check in early. The place was perfect. Great open space in the lounge. Everything you need in the kitchen. Cute little outdoor space. Second floor had the two bedrooms, extra bathroom and a little sitting space. Then the awesome extra bit is if you go up a few more stairs…open and door and they’ve made an awesome sitting space on the roof! The area was quiet and a very short walk to Main Street. I highly recommend!
