Cecily’s place is so beautiful! Its matches the description, she is super proactive and left us clear instructions on how to check-in and what to do. It’s easy to get to amazing places like Hornby and Denmen Island for her place.

Karen’s place is incredibly spotless and nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious with kitchen and bathrooms fully loaded. Beds are comfy and linens are comfortable. You won’t be disappointed. The check in was flawless once you get past finding the actual location & parking. It is a bit tricky, despite Karen’s great instructions. I must’ve missed the part where the front exit is right on the main highway in Parksville. It is very loud and the beds do shake with traffic passing by. Two of the bedrooms have no windows which felt a bit “dungeon”. The place feels like maybe it was a store front or office buildings before becoming living space. All in all, a great space just a few details lacking in the building description. Location to the beach, town and playground is awesome, you couldn’t get any closer. Parksville is so lovely. A quick drive to Coombs for a fun afternoon! Value wise we felt like we got to enjoy our stay without feeling financially taken advantage of. Thanks!

INCREDIBLE VIEWS!!! I spent 2 and a 1/2 weeks at Rebecca's beautiful, fully equipped guest suite. Close to so many beaches, stores and restaurants, yet felt far from hustle and bustle. Spent many hours having morning coffee or evening drinks in front of the huge picture windows, watching the ever changing sky and scenery, seals, eagles, mountains, even a submarine on a training mission! For me, the bonus was the deep bathtub, love having a relaxing tubby. Rebecca was fantastic, was always quick to respond to any questions I had, yet gave me the privacy and peace and quiet I needed. I highly recommend Rebecca's suite!

A very nice and cozy place with everything you need. Perfect for students / staff working at the hospital as well as it is very close.

Travis was a fantastic host. We rented both A&B suites which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) The suite was clean and had extra blankets which were nice to use while sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean with our glasses of wine. Hot tub and workout facilities were good. The walking paths right outside the building were our favorite - takes you out to the ocean to play in tidal pools - so much fun! We would love to stay again next time we're in the area! It's a beautiful gem in a central location to Parksville and Nanaimo!

We had a fantastic stay at Angela’s place! We booked for two nights with our two kids, primarily for the convenience of skiing at Mount Washington and it was the perfect spot for our needs. The space, while petite, was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The hot standup shower was a treat after a long day on the slopes, and the helpful notes around the unit made it easy to navigate everything. We also really enjoyed the Nespresso machine - such a nice touch for starting our mornings! Though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the river or outdoor surroundings this time, we’d love to come back and explore more. The access to laundry was a huge plus and Angela’s communication was excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

Great weekend away here. Stacy was very helpful and responsive (even asked if everyone was after a power outage). Place was clean and nicely decorated, would definitely like to come back again. Amenities are a great add on and peaceful trails, beach nearby for walks. 10/10 😀

We had a great stay! It was exactly as described and our family of 6 felt right at home. Loved the games and books available. We had everything we needed. Driveway was tricky but as described by hosts so we were expecting it. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

This was a lovely, spacious, very clean, and bright place. Easy access to internet and a lovely tv for my use. Terry was a fabulous host - easy to talk to; very helpful; but otherwise left me to myself. There was much information available in the suite regarding issues within the suite (i.e. how to access items on the tv), plus information about facilities/amenities/restaurants/etc. available in Courtenay/Comox. I can hardly wait to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin's place and would stay again. When we arrived we had a couple of questions about the suite and Kevin came right away to show us. The kitchen worked well for us, although I wish there had been some aluminum foil.

Great location. Lots of room for everyone. Very much appreciated all the extras available to us. Dave is a great host providing lots of clear information and instruction for us and was very quick to respond to any communication sent his way. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great place for my family. We enjoyed the park being a shirt walk away. The kids loved the tree house and the rope swing. We loved the hot tub. It was an easy place to keep all the family happy.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Excellent on all points. The apartment was spacious, clean with modern furnishings. the view from the balcony was a highlight. Kristin and Ryan were responsive and helpful - we appreciated the extra bit of time to check out. Parking is easy to access and just a stones throw from the main street of town.

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you Randy and Barb!

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

The Strands was a beautiful place to do a little sister trip with our little babies. It was peaceful and it was so nice being so close to the beach and the amenities of the resort available. The unit itself was amazing. It was so well decorated and beautifully designed. Everything was very well thought out and we felt really comfortable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

A well-equipped and spacious suite in a great location just a couple of minutes south of the Parksville strip. The whole resort appears to be kept in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of cosy furniture in the dining and living area. As always, I brought a few cooking utensils from home, things that are often not supplied at b&b's. Didn't need any of them; the kitchen is efficiently laid out and very nicely equipped. Andrea's instructions were clear and helpful, and her polite requests for check-out procedures very reasonable. We were 3 adults and one 7-year old. We all had a wonderful stay.

Place was gorgeous, Iris was a sweet and responsive host. We will be back again 100%
