Beautiful area, had everything we didn't think to bring and some! Wish we had of booked for an extra few days, with us visiting family it was impossible to squeeze everything in! Colchester is the jewel of Essex county in my opinion!

We really enjoyed our weekend away, the house and the hot tub were exactly what we were looking for.

John is a great host and was very accommodating to our needs.

Such a beautiful and peaceful house. Accommodation were amazing, Denise was very proactive and responsive! Wish the weather was better in order for us to take full advantage of the outdoor activities/amenities. We'd definitely love to come back!

The house was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for a weekend get-a-way! The views were stunning and the house is located to some quaint towns! We will definitely be back!!

We visited Point Peele National Park and stayed at Janet's place for 3 nights. The location is super convenient - only 20 minutes from the park (and also 5 minutes from Hillman Marsh!). The place is very spacious and the surrounding is peaceful and serene.

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.

Diane’s loft was exactly as advertised and was just what we needed. Diane was a great host and very friendly. Glad we chose this place for our accommodations

Jamie’s place was a great spot for our getaway with amazing views and great location to the beach! We enjoyed our stay! Bed was super comfy and bathroom was luxurious!! We will return!

From the private furnished patio overlooking a garden always in bloom to the interior where contemporary and antique furnishings reside peacefully with each other, I enjoyed every minute of three plus months spent in this place. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets. The kitchen was missing nothing I required. I loved being among all the little things that make a home a home. Chris and Sarah are excellent hosts. They do truly want their guests to be comfortable and happy. Again, many thanks to you both.

Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay. The Loft is clean, welcoming and bright. The decor is fantastic, and I especially loved all the live plants. We enjoyed the terrace fireplace and skyline views while our children watched a movie inside. Our girls loved the skylight over their bed, and we loved how we could walk to restaurants, theatres and the waterfront. Would 10/10 book again if visiting Windsor.

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement! The cottage is so much larger and even more comfy than I anticipated! The space has two eating areas inside, as well as a large picnic table, Tiki Hut, expansive dock, and fire pit right outside your door. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. There are so many interesting books, games, and treasures to explore, such a unique space is hard to capture in photographs, but I think that is part of the magic. Coffee and tea on the dock in the morning was very peaceful and we have incredible memories of watching the many species of birds nesting in a protected migratory area right on the banks of the river just before sunset. We eat the freshest corn we have ever tasted, gifted to us by Maryann as well as many other small gifts that made the stay so chill and comfortable. Maryann and Brad are super friendly but also very respectful of your privacy. The perfect hosts and really good people.
