We were pleasantly surprised by Andrew's 2 bedroom attic. It was rather sparsely decorated but very clean and pleasant with a lovely autumn view over the pond. I hope it will be free next time we visit with my wife.

Our stay was wonderful and the hosts were very friendly and proactive with providing instructions for our stay, while also giving us suggestions for things to do around the area. One thing to note is the photo of the living room with the tv is outdated, and the hosts have a flatscreen smart tv now. Next time we are skiing around whiteface, we will most likely choose this location. The location is a short drive to the resort (under 20 mins) , but we found ourselves enjoying Lake Placid after skiing, but is a slightly longer drive (~30 mins) from the home, but worth it.

Very friendly hosts. Snowed eight inches overnight and our three cars were cleaned off and the driveway was clear the next morning. Also a great little town. Walked to the Irish pub and the restaurant. Friendly staff and good food.

Perfect getaway to the Adirondack’s for us and the pups. Good location for som amazing hikes and getting to lake placid area as well. Gabrielle even helped me in getting a birthday cake to surprise my boyfriend before arrival. She connected me to an amazing local baker and received the cake delivery for me. That’s going above and beyond in my opinion. Highly recommend this place for an Adirondack getaway.

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

We really liked our stay. Josh was super responsive. The place was clean and cozy with large kitchen and bathroom. We would stay again! The only thing I would improve/recommend would be wider and darker curtains in the bedrooms.

Second year staying with Michael and he’s a great host. The place is in a super convenient location and a nice private building.

What a cute little space for our weekend getaway with our pup! It was clean and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Lake Placid was beautiful!

The location makes it easy to get out and about. We came to ski and snowshoe at The VIC, it was easy to get there. The apartment is just right for a home base. The water pressure in the shower is exceptional! Other reviews mentioned early morning noise, it's simply tiny feet walking about, and you have to really listen for them. I highly recommend Jon's Loj, and hopefully will be back again.

In the past I have rented a lot of houses and it is certainly one of the most beautiful ever seen. Stunning 1700's construction with original beams, wow !!! A few meters from the lake, everything was absolutely perfect. As a gift, we also received an amazing bottle of red wine ! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Laura

It was worth what I paid for sure. The location is great to walk into town. The host is really responsive so all our needs were met. Lastly, everything was clean. I loved the open concept and the bedrooms are on oposite sides of the unit so it feels like I have some privacy from our travel buddies. It was great.

Deborah's space was perfect for us! Easy walk to town, quick drive to hike and a comfortable space to relax. Great stay!!!

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

Clean, comfortable, efficiency apartment right in downtown Placid. Easy access to the Olympic center, which is what brought us there. Needed a simple cozy place to sleep and this was just that!

Beautiful home in Schroon Lake! The house was the perfect size and was so clean.

This Airbnb was in a great location less than ten minutes from Lake Placid’s Main Street. Michael was wonderful in being quick in communication. There was such a great cabin esthetic complete with pot belly fire place. The windows had a beautiful view of the calmness of the woods. There was an assortment of amenities including shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer. The kitchen was complete with everything necessary to cook or have tea, coffee or hot chocolate. It was a quiet and relaxing neighborhood with the room facing the woods and felt very private.

Phoebe was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Place is in a great location not far from many shops, restaurants, etc. also very close to the Olympic museum. The hot tub was great. Highly recommend if you are traveling with pets. My dogs loved the fenced in back yard. I would def stay there again.

This Airbnb is perfect for a couples ski getaway in the winter. The close proximity to Whiteface Mountain is convenient, and the hot tub is great for recovery after a long day of skiing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples ski trip.

Brad was a great host, he was extremely helpful. The walls were not noise canceling which was not an issue just took some getting used to due to the fact that you could hear the people upstairs conversations. Overall a great place!

Ausgestattet mit einem bequemen King Size Bett und einem Twin Bett bietet das Schlafzimmer zudem genügend Stauraum. In der Wohnküche mit Fernseher befinden sich eine Mikrowelle, ein Kühlschrank, eine Espressokapselmaschine, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Handtücher und Körperpflegeprodukte stehen im Bad bereit. Das schnelle Internet funktionierte einwandfrei und auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein Autostellplatz. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sicher. Restaurants, Supermärkte und Tankstellen befinden sich in der Umgebung. Mit meinem Aufenthalt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Cherie!

Great place that allows privacy for two couples. Loved the location and views were lovely when sitting outside.

This was a great spacious space. Right on the lake. Everything was lovely would definitely stay again. The only issue was there’s a pizza parlor above and there is some noise from there, but it wasn’t really much of a distraction.

The location was perfect and the view was beautiful. Could maybe have been a little better stocked with the typical things at an Airbnb but not a big deal as long as you know you need to bring it and the host communicated that.

Great stay at a great place! We ended up with fewer people than first expected so it was very roomy for us.
