My wife and I just spent one of the more enjoyable weeks in our long history of visits to the Adirondacks. Jerry and Linda’s log cabin on Middle Saranac Lake is, quite simply, a treasure. Awesome location right on shoreline. Very nice man (Dan) motored us across the lake. Rustic but very comfortable. Spectacular views. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Propane lighting throughout. Weber grill on porch. Two kayaks and one canoe included. Aluminum boat (also included) with electric start Honda was perfect. Lots of tiny islands nearby. Hot (very!) shower, flush toilet. Swimming right from dock. Sandy beach close by. Sunsets, sunrises, total peace and serenity. Just what we were hoping for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You will too! David and Debbie B

William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful time glamping at Jacob's tent on the lake. Jacob was very proactive and responsive to issues - the original tent we booked flooded due to the recent storms and Jacob put us up in another one of his properties which was nicer than what we had originally planned for. The tent was spacious, clean, and well-kept. It stood up to a variety of different weather including heavy rain and wind but was cozy and safe to stay in. The lake is beautiful and there were kayaks and canoes available for us to use. Pretty much everything except food and firewood was supplied which made the trip much easier for us. He sent us a list of local recommendations which we found helpful and fun. I would definitely go again!

We've had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the lake. From the moment you arrive, you find the peace and serenity you came for. The stairs to the water are a short walk to views and daily sunsets. The cottage is well stocked and cozy for winter nights. Cell service and wifi keep you connected. Pratt's General Store is well-stocked and a five minute ride, and Middlebury is only 20 minutes away. Would recommend to any looking to re-connect with nature and the beauty that is Vermont.

Can’t thank Suzanne enough for such an amazing stay! Perfect for our family of 4. Our boys loved the bunk beds. Every room had exactly what we needed. We all wished we could have stayed longer. We didn’t want to leave. Suzanne went above and beyond stocking the place, and even provided tube for us to have fun in the snow! I also loved that many of the soaps were more natural (free and clear or essential oils) as I’m sensitive to many fragrances. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Suzanne!

It was a great long weekend. Close enough to the crowds to enjoy, and far enough away to be private and also enjoyable. It would be nice to see some growth in restaurants and more options for food.

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake is peaceful and beautifully scenic surrounded by mountains, with a great view from the large picture windows in the living area. Kayaking and canoeing were great! Our son stayed at the Studio bachelor pad until his older sibling arrived and kicked him out; a perfect size for couple also. Close to Six Flags and Lake George. House was pristine. Great layout for family fun!

You can feel Mary’s deep love for this magical retreat and her genuine care for her guests even through the listing description and beautifully captured photos. She thoughtfully anticipates every guest's need, from the delightful welcome basket and thoughtful treats to the cozy rugs and blankets provided for stargazing. Every detail is designed to make you feel at home while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We were absolutely enchanted by this place—words simply can't capture how extraordinary our stay was. Daniel's rental is great. Wonderful scenery and very peaceful. The house was just as described, maybe actually bigger than it appeared. Daniel was very easy to deal with and gave very clear instructions. We would like to go back in the future.

This house was perfect for our family, the kids loved being right by the lake. Having a fire pit, grill, water activities and quick access to the main roads made for a great weekend. The place was immaculate with more than enough for our stay.

The pictures of this listing just do not do it justice. The house is truly beautiful inside and out and the view is AMAZING. My husband and I just celebrated our honeymoon here and we enjoyed every second of it. It was cozy and relaxing which is exactly what we needed after a hectic past couple of weeks! Frank was a great host. Made sure we had everything we needed. A snowstorm dropped 18 inches the day before we checked in. Frank had the place fully cleared of snow it was no problem at all. Proactive host. Very responsive. Most certainly will rent from Frank again. Highly recommend to others.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was extremely courteous and responsive, making the check-in process seamless and hassle-free for all of us. The home was well-maintained and set in a calm, serene environment—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The deck overlooking the lake was definitely the highlight of our stay, offering a breathtaking view of the fall colors. The house looks exactly like the photos. It’s comfortable and offers amazing views of the lake. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with family. The hosts were very clear about the conditions, flexible with check-in and check-out, and the process was super easy! The area is very quiet, and everything you need is just a few minutes away. The only thing that could be improved is some of the mattresses.

A beautiful house in a great location less than 2 miles outside of the town of Schroon Lake and about 28 minutes from Gore Mountain. The house is as attractive and clean as it looks in the photos and everything worked properly. A perfect cozy spot for a winter getaway! Maureen and Brian had a helpful document with lots of local recommendations and were very communicative and responsive to anything we needed. We had five adults and a dog and there was more than enough room for all of us to relax. We loved our stay and hope to book again!

We had a wonderful time staying here at Lake Schroon for our girls' getaway weekend. The location is perfect and very peaceful. I loved walking down to the beach every morning to view the sunrise over the mountains. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing and even went into the water. We had a blast going out to a karaoke bar on our first night and then cooking in the second night with a fire pit complete with s'mores. There are restaurants within the area and fun shops too. Jack and Lorraine were friendly and very responsive and helpful too.

Super cute ADK house. STUNNING backyard. We had some issues with the downstairs, and Kurt was super responsive and quick to offer us a partial refund. Loved the porch and backyard!

This is the perfect spot for a family get away. Everyone felt right at home- even kids and dogs :). The weather when we were there was Adirondack "unsettled" but the house had great space for playing with the kids, rocking on the awesome porch swing and, even in the rain, a safe private road for walking. Bob was super responsive with communication and questions. The house is super close to Saranac, Placid, hikes and paddles- if it wasnt " the days of covid" we would have spent time wondering more for sure.
