We had a great time over a holiday weekend! The house was close to a few places to get necessities and a few places to eat. It was within a half hour to a few ski areas also, which was the main plan of our trip. The house was beautiful and clean. Thr sauna and hot tub were great features of the home. We got a good amount of snow while there and Julian was quick to keep us updated on having the driveway plowed. The area is beautiful wotha lake view. The house had plenty of space and bathrooms for our two families. Everything was clean and in goof shape when we arrived.

As soon as I pulled in the driveway I knew I made the right decision. The house was absolutely beautiful. Tons of space. Everything we needed was right there. Smelt so clean. Felt right at home. It was so relaxing and I had nothing to worry about all weekend. Every time I messaged them very quick responses. So if you’re looking for a nice little quiet getaway I definitely would recommend this gorgeous house. I will definitely be booking again!

We have booked many Airbnbs. But this is by far the best house. Beautiful view, amazing house. We loved the ping pong table, the hot tub. Sledding in the driveway. Whiteface Mountain was 15 minutes away. The host was very nice, he didn't bother us at all while we were there. The house is much nicer in person than in the pictures. The towel racks, the lamp covers, everything matched the house perfectly. We loved it, we will come back here!

An incredibly beautiful home! It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Doug is a fantastic host. We asked if we could get some firewood and within ten minutes he brought some to the house for us. He even installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs so our little guy was safe. This is by far one of our favorite rentals in Wilmington. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

We stay here for our family Ski week at Whiteface and couldn’t have had a better time - very close to the mountain and also High Gorge Falls and other sights. Really nice house, great view from the hot tub - would stay here again !

Our stay at Highland Loj for the World Bobsled Championships was truly outstanding. This home offers the perfect combination of seclusion, stunning mountain views, and unmatched convenience. Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Placid Village, it feels like a classic mountain cabin retreat, with breathtaking glimpses of Whiteface Mountain and Mirror Lake, creating a peaceful and picturesque backdrop. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Main Street, where we enjoyed incredible dining, charming shops, and easy access to everything Lake Placid has to offer.

We had an incredible time here! The location was perfect, and everything in the house was exactly what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and super comfortable. Bill ensured we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with.

We loved our stay at White Birch! Minutes from Whiteface mountain. Private, big house for our big group! Hot tub was awesome! Beds were comfortable! Great to have laundry available too!

The cabin was just as expected, worked out great for a quick getaway for our little family

We stayed one night for my birthday. The host is very accommodating, they let my family in early to surprise me by decorating before I arrived for check in. They even added personalized touches throughout wishing me a happy birthday. The house was clean and smelled great upon entering. The house had everything you could need in it already for an overnight stay! The back yard was a beautiful with the lights and hot tub at night! So cute and cozy!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful and she was a great host. Answered all our questions and the place was clean.

Beautiful comfortable rustic cabin. It was peaceful and quiet during our 2-night stay. Even though Meghan was out of the country, she replied to all of our messages. Would stay there again for a short stay in the area. Thanks!

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet, peaceful, and private, and Sherry and Jerry’s home was perfect! Cutest little down town if you wanted to leave the cabin but hanging at the cabin or in the hot tub was the perfect getaway!

Just Book this place! My review follows all the past positive reviews. This place is awesome for a winter hangout with all the privacy you want and a short scenic drive to Lake Placid. The views from the front deck are beautiful and the hot tub on the back deck is a great place to unwind after a playful day in the snow. So - just book this place if you are into enjoying life in the Adirondack Mountains. Thanks Richard & Jocelyn!
