Todd was very responsive and accommodating. The location of the cabins is a short drive to both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. There is a nice biking/running/walking trail close by. It was a true cabin experience, making it a memorable and unique holiday. We would stay there again.

Perfect little get away cabin tucked in the woods. Easy, walkable access to the lake with beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative from the start. Would love to stay here again!

Todds place was awesome, we had a great stay! Cute little cozy cabin with a fire pit in the backyard, perfect for a couples weekend away & a great location! About 10 minutes to lake placid and very close to stores / gas stations if needed

The cabin was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. It felt very rustic and was an enjoyable cabin stay. The area is beautiful, and the proximity to Lake Placid was very convenient. It was a short 2 minute walk to the corner gas station, which was well stocked and came in handy for quick drink and snack runs.

Had a great stay here! Bill was very responsive and the property was beautiful. Perfect home base for exploring the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain.

Beautiful place, relaxing, dog-friendly, Adirondack-style decorations, cozy, loved the hot tub. Host was also very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Perfect. Would definitely come back.

I can’t say enough how thoughtful Mark and his family were in digging my car out of the snow after GPS directed me past Marks cabin which was thoroughly plowed. Wonderful and kind people. Old school bare bones cabin perfect for a peaceful night before heading to High Peaks for hiking.

Just Magical. You guys helped to make this a very special 30th birthday for my wife. She fell in love with your beautiful home. Everything was perfect and provided us a great opportunity to escape the trappings of life for a weekend. We can't say enough about how great our stay was. Thank you so much for our incredible stay!

Cozy, beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Steven was very easy to reach and helpful, he took the time to call us before arriving and was responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend this location and home!

Annette and Michael are the absolute best! They’ve clearly put considerable thought into creating spaces that are comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. They care about your experience and know how to make you feel right at home. Best of all, they’re wonderful conversationalists who genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again.

The house was beautiful as it was captured in the pictures. Connor was extremely helpful and communicative when we needed help. Despite the snow storm, we had an easy time getting in and out of the house. Extremely beautiful surroundings,great views / vistas from every window, abundant light. House heated well despite the cold weather and kitchen was truly stocked with everything needed, especially for foodies like us who love cooking. Would definitely be back!

Brooke's cozy and eclectic cottage was just perfect for a quick impromptu weekend in Lake Placid. The home is well appointed and super dog friendly. Brooke's communication was clear and friendly. She provided small extra touches that made us and our pup feel so welcome! Great host.

we had a wonderful weekend at the farm! we loved that the farm store had fresh meat, broth and even rice noodle in stock for an easy dinner after a long day of adventures. very cozy and intimate for a couple getaway.

This place is beautiful and secluded! We enjoyed walking around the property and up the dirt road in the evenings. There is a wonderful trail about 5 minutes up the road to Severance mountain that was fantastic and so convenient. Victor was a great host, helpful, friendly, and responded to our questions very quickly. A great place to unwind from it all.

This was our second stay at this location, and we were impressed by the improvements made to the cabin since our first stay. Scot reached out periodically to make sure we were taken care of. Definitely worth the price -- great value if you're looking for an Adirondack retreat right on the Ausable river.

Nous avons loué le petit chalet 2 jours pour aller faire de la randonnée autour. Très belle place et spacieux. Avec le temps froid, le chauffage fonctionnait très bien dans le chalet . Nous avons bien apprécié notre petit séjour. Une seule petite chose…Les lanternes à la batterie devraient être à changer car elles faisait des « flash » constamment et éclairaient moyennement. Nous allons revenir sans faute. Merci!

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet, peaceful, and private, and Sherry and Jerry’s home was perfect! Cutest little down town if you wanted to leave the cabin but hanging at the cabin or in the hot tub was the perfect getaway!

A Perfect Mountain Retreat! Our stay at Amy’s cabin was absolutely amazing. Nestled in the heart of AuSable Acres, the location offers a sense of serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The cabin itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was a highlight, especially on chilly evenings, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals with a view. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the local guidebook and extra blankets. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the area. I can’t wait to come back!

This was such a cute & cozy getaway! Karen has thought of everything you might need. There is a fire pit and a picnic table and lots of books to read. Lots of cute nature themed decor. One note for planning is that the toiletries are separate from the cabin. While the cabin is an 'indoor' experience (well sealed, clean, warm, etc), the toiletries are sort of like glamping. There is an outhouse-style toilet and an outdoor shower (with hot water). I love an outdoor shower but it was a bit difficult to use at night because of the dark. Still a world above camping, it’s just good to be aware. The wood burning stove and cheerful outdoorsy decorations were so snug and lovely. We chose this area to access the wonderful hiking in many nearby Adirondack trails. I hope to come back and stay longer next time!

What an awesome spot for a little getaway! Perfect for a weekend in the ADK. Very clean, Bobby was awesome and gave us some pretty helpful tips about the place. Hot tub was PERFECT for ending our nights. Thank you much for an awesome stay! We’ll be back for sure!!
