Had a group of us staying for a Hen weekend where we were able to take advantage of the beautiful garden, pool and hot tub. The place was spotless and the fact there was multiple bathrooms was brilliant for 14 women. The facilities were great and we were pleasantly surprised that there was so much ice for drinks, bread and milk were also provided. I definitely recommend the venue as there was so much space and different areas to chill if required. We took a taxi into town on the Friday night, which was only a 15 minute journey. The entrance was a little hard to find, but having the gate locked by a code made us feel really secure. There was also air con in the rooms, which I definitely did not expect. We had such a fun time and would definitely book again.

Amazing, it was the perfect place to stay for a family celebration. The house was modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped with lots of space to accommodate everyone. Antonina was lovely and very responsive to any questions we had and we would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Antonina

Melanie is a great host. Very proactive and responsive and provided lovely homemade baked goods, butter, tea, coffee and biscuits. Mini pool table was a nice bonus! Easy walk to the beach and town with good pubs, eateries and shops.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

Myself my husband and our 4 children stayed along with my brother and sister in law with their child and we absolutely loved our time over new years at Victoria’s. It’s a beautiful home, extremely spacious upstairs and downstairs, was plenty of room for 9 of us with absolutely everything you need and more. We went to Felixstowe beach one day which was about 25 mins, short walk to shops/Tesco if you need anything. We all said we would definitely stay again, great communication and super friendly host. Thank you x

David and Jo were excellent hosts. Every little detail had been carefully thought out, and taken care of. They were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, and could not have been more helpful. The cottage itself is so charming, and beautifully presented. Quiet and peaceful, a perfect haven to come back to. We will most definitely be back.

This was my second visit to the house and it did not disappoint. It’s a lovely cottage in an ideal location for me when I visit my Dad who lives in the village x

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Mark pro-actively checked- in with me regarding the comfort and satisfaction of the flat. The flat was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The location felt safe and is an idea location close to the train and within walking distance to lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Should I return to Southend-On-Sea, I would book again.

Beautiful setting, clean room - just what we needed for a brief stay during a wedding. Great communication and pretty setting, would recommend!

The apartment has character, exactly as shown in the photos. The neighbourhood is residential, with houses next to each other. As the houses do not have garages, the street tends to be filled with cars, which can make parking a bit challenging. The cafés and restaurants nearby are excellent. I recommend following Liza's tips.

Our stay with Paul was exceptional from start to finish. Paul gave us such a warm welcome and tour of the property. The place was laid out and designed brilliant and Paul has thought of everything from muffin's and prosecco to the hair straighteners You can tell Paul takes a lot of pride in hosting and the stay was absolutely perfect in a beautiful set with beautiful surroundings Very very good value for money..I would expect to pay alot more for what we had We will definitely be back very soon

Wonderful communication from Ivy, a brilliant location and the photos dont do this place justice, it's absolutely perfect for a short break. A short walk to the tube and nice and quiet with off street parking. Ivy was also happy to let us park slightly earlier than our check in time, which we really appreciated.

Even though we had to cut our visit short due to some personal matter Vikki-Jo was a great host,would recommend!

Badger Cabin was the most beautiful, peaceful place for our girls night to celebrate a birthday! We had the best time, thank you!!

Lovely peaceful getaway, just as described. Clean, responsive hosts and generally lovely scenery. Would visit again! Walkable locations, lovely pubs and walks all around, great for dog as all gated. Massage studio on site, which was very relaxing . Only slight downfall is the walls are thin between the other cabin, so can hear music etc.

Really relaxing stay and nice for the dog to be able to roam around the enclosed garden. The walk into the village was also very peaceful and straightforward. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing and the bed really comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

we loved our stay here, despite the rain! The new pagoda meant we could still enjoy the hot tub. Our little ones loved it too! Everything we needed.

Had a lovely time , wish we could have stayed longer very responsive host , very clean , not expensive and exactly as advertised. We were also running a bit late at check out time and the host graciously extended the time at no extra cost … also a cheeky bottle of Prosecco in the fridge which was a nice touch . We will be staying again

A beautiful out of the way location set in woodland and open space. A great location to base yourself near to pretty nearby villages and the recommended restaurants. Chris is a lovely host and very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to be helpful and even dried my dogs’ coat for us. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay with beautiful views, peaceful break that was greatly needed. Would stay again!
