We had a short but wonderful stay, during the half term break. There was so much to do in the local area for the kids, with a good park just at the end of the road as well. We always drove, and the town centre was less than five mins away. Same as the beachfront with all the amusements, restaurants, and Adventure Island which was perfect for the kids. The house itself was very good, with parking. Very spacious with lounge, dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. I also managed to get some work done in the "study area" too. All round a good stay.

Absolutely beautiful, very relaxing place, you feel like your really in the middle of nowhere. Had a beautiful hamper On arrival with so much stuff it really was appreciated. Very clean and nice dog walks around the lake. Lots of cleaning products which was great too. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at the Hexagon. It was peaceful, and such an unusual place. We found the radar tower and all the history fascinating. The views of the sunrise were spectacular and the walks along the coast with all the wildlife were hard to leave behind. We would love to come back and could have stayed for longer.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful inside and the grounds were even better. I booked this for my mum 60th birthday and we all had an incredible time. All rooms were beautiful with a lovely kitchen too, even better the welcome pack they leave you. The wrap around veranda was the highlight for us, we spent most of the days on that with the hot tub, we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could really make the most of it. The fishing lake was lovely my partner fished and enjoyed it. The owner was always happy to answer any questions whenever I needed them. Thankyou so much.

I really enjoyed the stay, and the lovely apartment was both pleasant to stay in and perfectly located. It was in a quiet location that provided peace and privacy but was a short walk from an area with lots to do and enjoy, either great transport links. I’ll be staying again and if you’re reading this to help you decide whether to do so too, do it - good WiFi, a quiet place, nearby shops and a friendly host are plenty of good reasons.

Good location for visiting Clacton-on-sea; very close to my friend’s house so we most likely will come back again

I want to say a huge thank you to Maria. She was friendly and responsive and she left the most precise and wonderful instructions. This was so helpful for any guests staying in London for the first time. Example was closest ATM, bus, tube, shops and the list is endless. The house was pristine and lovely. All the amenities functioned perfectly and Maria was in constant communication from the first time of booking till check in. I would love to stay next time we are in need of a place. The experience was great and we say thank you once again for giving us a wonderful place while in London. I must add that it was very good value for money. Hannah is an amazing host! She gave clear detailed instructions, recommendations and is very quick to respond to questions. She even left us a bottle of wine and we felt very welcome in her home. The house itself is super spacious and cosy, with a great kitchen and amazing garden. The surrounding area was peaceful and felt super safe. We absolutely loved Hannah’s place and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely book again if back in the area.

Bugg Cottage is a lovely home from home in a stunning location with far reaching views. The only problem was we didn’t stay long enough! Kim answered all questions quickly and couldn’t have been more helpful. There was even a very yummy home baked cake left in the kitchen which was a welcomed surprise! Locally the village pub was excellent and the marina walk to the cafe was good (but cold!). Plenty of sea birds to spot and there was a herd of wild deer just beyond the cottage window. Would absolutely recommend Kim’s beautiful cottage to anyone!

5/5 Stars - A Home Away from Home! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Melanie's beautiful Airbnb, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is absolutely precious, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The location is fantastic, with a Tesco just around the corner and the railway station within walking distance. It's the perfect base for exploring the area, and Melanie's thoughtful recommendations were spot on. Melanie is an exceptional host - friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. Her attention to detail and kindness made all the difference to our trip. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Had a lovely stay at this house for a week as I was visiting family who live near here. House was everything we needed. My only feedback would be that for me, it could benefit from having another sofa in the living room and two more dining chairs, apart from this small thing - it was excellent and suited our needs. Wonderful 4 weeks like never before. Amenities is more than 5 stars and the response from Gee and Yetty was like in few minutes. I will definitely go back and even book for my guests.
