Our family had a wonderful stay. Loved being greeted with yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, coffee selections, and water bottles in the spotless fridge. Everything was Super clean, plenty of towels, linens, and even thoughtful small size items like toothpaste if needed! We were visiting family in El Dorado and this comfy location made it easy and fun. Nice outdoor area where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Lots of available outdoor space for stroller walks to entertain the baby traveling with us. The thoughtful description of all the stairs in the cabin were appreciated even though our baby was pre walking and we were able to easily keep her safe. The host was always available for questions and proactive in asking if we had needs. We will definitely use this location again if / when we visit.

Booked a 5 day trip by myself, and the 2nd day i ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. Eric and his property manager Della, went above and beyond communicating with me and checking on me. Della and her husband even came to the hospital and helped drive me and my truck back to the house! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. These are some very good honest caring folks! The house was everything they described and very roomy, unfortunately i had to cut my trip short and didn’t get to enjoy it as much as i would have liked. Eric was very generous and helped me out with a partial refund. If i get the opportunity to make the trip back up to Kansas, i will be coming here! Thank you Eric and Della so much for everything! Great place to stay. We stay there for special occasions and family and friends really enjoy themselves. The place just has that old fashioned charm and friendliness.

Great getaway in the country. Loved the lake view and fireplace! Very comfortable beds, clean and cozy seating areas

Wow… very beautiful, to yourself, and fun experience. We were able to bring our cat since we moving across country. It is a little bit of a walk but the stars that night made it so worth it. We had an orange cat name frank follow us and hang out in the tree next to the cabin. Both cats ran to us when we pulled in and were extremely friendly with lots of love. I read reviews about the dogs being the greeters, however they had them in the house I believe. Which was better for our cat’s comfort. We didn’t find a restroom and no running water. It is listed as such but for roughly 50$ it was top notch. Hope to come again in the summer so we can grab honey!

Great spot to stay when traveling across the country. Private and clean. Very responsive hosts and everything we need is there.

Lora was so easy to work with from the beginning to the end. If I ever need a place in Winfield again I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The cottage was so adorable and quaint. Very clean and had everything we needed including activities and books for our children which we appreciated! The nearby train was a bit loud and unexpected but once we got used to it, it was just fine. Would recommend this stay!
