We attended a family wedding in Mudgee and therefore we were mostly out and about but this beautiful apartment had everything that made it comfortable for a few days getting ready, walking to events and just resting in between. The kitchen appeared to be well stocked and the bed was so comfortable. Thank you for the lovely wine and making our stay so easy. Would return for another visit when coming to Mudgee again.

A great use of the space — seemed like a lot of thought went into ensuring the apartment was comfortable and modern (one of the two tv screens was the largest we had ever seen; fridge, microwave, washing machine etc all looked super new and certainly worked as if they were. The property is only a 10 minute walk to Mudgee centre and much less to a number of eating places whilst the area is super quiet so we slept soundly. To add to the excellent experience John was immediately responsive when we needed him. All in all a great stay and we would not hesitate to stay again.

The great thing about Ronya’s place is that you are not just close to the heritage buildings in the centre of Mudgee - you are actually staying in one. Right in the centre of town, with easy access to the shops and great restaurants, it is also a perfect base for exploring the nearby vineyards. The apartment itself is very stylishly and comfortably furnished, and has a fantastic balcony where you can easily spend a sunny afternoon watching life go by. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay with all the amenities needed, perfect for a couple coming to town for a wedding or to spend some time together.

We couldn't have asked for anything else, the accommodation is well decorated, very clean and tidy and everything catered for, even had shampoo and conditioner available. I would love to stay here again. Well located, easy walk into town, we walked down to the Makers Market and bought some wonderful products. The bed was so comfortable, such a great nights sleep. We rented both units, the location is great because it’s easy walking to anything but quiet. Comfortable and the courtyard is a great addition, would be ideal with the grandchildren and bbq facilities

Thank you Stacey for sharing your beautiful home. Everything was perfect! The home is in the perfect location, a short walk to shops and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. It was clean and fresh. Beds and lounge were comfortable. We were greeted with a chilled bottle of local wine, cheese platter, fresh bread to name a few things and a very well equipped kitchen. Bathroom and laundry were also fully stocked. We felt at home straight away. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks again. Anna

My friends and I had a great stay. The cottage was surprisingly cool in the hot Mudgee sun, and we loved being a short walk from Mudgee’s cafes, bars and restaurants. There was plenty of room in the common areas for us and everything was clean / new. I’d definitely recommend.

Beautiful charming 19th century house full of character with all the 21st century mod-cons. Host Craig was very helpful and a great communicator. Recommended.

We had an amazing time in Mudgee, and Rhiannon’s home was the perfect place to stay. We loved the character of the beautifully preserved 100+ year-old house and felt right at home. We had everything we needed for 8 people and it was a short walk to town. Rhiannon was incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond by accommodating our late check-out request and even stocking the fridge with milk and bread. We highly recommend this wonderful stay!

Vikki was very friendly and had excellent communication right from the start.The location was exactly what I was looking for to spend an extended time with my family.The house was large ,had spacious rooms , very well presented and had all the required items needed for a stay at a home away from home.Vikki made it perfectly clear that if we required anything that we do not hesitate to reach out to her.I would highly recommend this location to anyone that is is looking for an outstanding house on a quiet rural property.We all really enjoyed our stay especially our young grandchildren.

Second time we have stayed at The Gables and the second visit was equally as enjoyable as the first - welcoming host and a lovely property - well located, spacious inside and out - recommended

Beautiful accommodation. Immaculately presented, comfortable and clean. Very well equipped with kitchen, laundry and bathroom supplies. Comfortable beds. Verandah had a lovely outlook over bushland. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Jacinda.
