The description is on point and we received more than what we expected not just physically but a depth in tranquility appreciably enough with the multi-color faded canvas-streaked like sunset. Safara, Alentejo for us was an escapade as we witnessed our life majorly in the concrete jungles. Digressing, the people of the village are too sweet it has 3 grocery shops, some(3-4) small cafes and 2 restaurants (the one behind the church run by the man named José has the most amazing gin and tonic you would expect from a place like this and the food is top quality). For connection there is one bus in the evening which comes from Lisboa - Sobral da Adica which can drop you in Safara and Vice versa in the morning.

Han sido unas vacaciones maravillosas: el sitio es perfecto para descansar, y las fotos no le hacen justicia. La propiedad se compone de cuatro casas, una común (con billar, cinta andadora, etc.) y varias zonas de descanso alrededor de la piscina, limpia y de buen tamaño, así como un estanque lleno de peces. En la zona hay varios pueblos con supermercados y buenos restaurantes; Évora se encuentra a 40 minutos. Es un lugar perfecto para conocer el Alentejo y pasar el día por ejemplo en Lisboa o Évora. Los propietarios, Mathieu y Martha, son absolutamente encantadores, atentos, educados y respetuosos. Han estado pendientes de nuestras necesidades sin resultar invasivos. Estamos seguros de que vamos repetir, y lo recomendamos fervientemente a todo el mundo.

Avec ma fille Cléa, nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Marthe et Mathieu. Tout au long du séjour, ils nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et amicalement. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement : il correspond en tout point à la description avec un accueil familial et amical. Mickael

Gostámos muito da estadia no monte. A casa é super confortável com todas as comodidades. Aproveitámos a piscina e o espaço exterior. O Tiago foi muito prestável e solícito.

Cette location Airbnb était exceptionnelle tant nos hôtes étaient gentils et généreux. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Marthe et Mathieu et avons pu profiter d’une grande piscine, d’un grand logement bien équipé et d’un spa privatif. A 1h de Lisbonne, nous ne nous sommes pas privés d’aller visiter la capitale à deux reprises. Un immense merci à nos hôtes. Il est fort probable que nous reviendrons y passer des vacances.

Zeer ruime woning met aangename terrasjes en een heerlijk zwembad. Carlos en zijn vrouw ontvingen ons met open armen! Ze waren heel vriendelijk en heel flexibel met in- en uitchecken. Een absolute aanrader!

Comodidades excelentes, possivelmente superiores ao que o anúncio aparenta. Staff simpático e acessível, o alojamento tem vários quartos mas sempre nos deu bastante ideia de privacidade. Recomendo 100% visitar, ideal para um grupo de amigos, com bastante espaço de lazer e conforto.

Foi uma linda experiência com os nossos miúdos e o nosso animal de estimação. Enfrente de uma lagoa espectacular e um espaço que tem de tudo, mesmo a casa seja pequena entram 6 pessoas cómodamente

Espaço incrível numa zona muito tranquila onde se pode recarregar energias. Otimo tambem para quem tambem animais de estimação ja que tem um espaco exterior enorme. Localização é excelente ja que rapidamente se consegue ir visitar zonas cheias de história à volta como alandroal, monsaraz, vila viçosa, terena e o proprio centro histórico do Redondo Para repetir!

Recomendamos a estadia, pois a casa está muito bem equipada, zona muito calma e tem tudo o que é necessário para umas excelentes férias. A localização é óptima para quem quiser desfrutar das maravilhosas praias fluviais do Alqueva, especialmente Azenhas d’el Rei e Mourão ou perder-se numa das mais bonitas aldeias de Portugal, Monsaraz.

Só posso dizer bem. A casa é fantástica, decorada com extremo bom gosto. Cozinha super equipada e a limpeza rigorosa. O Paulo esteve sempre disponível para qualquer questão. Fomos muito felizes aqui 😊.

O check in foi super flexivel e facil. A casa estava impecavel e bem preparada para receber tanta gente. Durante uma das noites tivemos um problema com a agua, enviei um sms ap sebastiaan e ele apareceu em 10 minutos para resolver e resolveu! Muito obrigada

Fomos muito bem recebidos nesta bonita casa no coração do Alentejo. Espaçosa, acolhedora e extramente confortável. também muito acolhedores, foram os anfitriões, sempre prestáveis, simpáticos, fazndo-nos sentir em casa. Charming, unique and huge house in the center of beautiful Evora. We had a great experience staying in this building and Paulo was a very responsive and friendly host. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed in Casa das letras and loved the place. It's so cozy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. There was a lot of space. We enjoyed playing billiard in the dining room, using the well equipped kitchen, or catching a book and relax. The playground in front was perfect for us, because we had kids with us. Straight opposite of the building is a tiny shop to get necessary stuff like milk, eggs and so on. For bigger things we went to the next town, which is about 15 minutes. We chose to stay in Carbela and this house because it's very quite and you can reach everything by car easily in less than an hour, for example Lisbon, Evora, some beaches and other interesting places. Catarina was super nice, she gave us straight support whenever we needed something. We highly recommend the place for families or people who want to calm down and enjoy their time. Hopefully we can come back some day. All the best to everyone

De weg om naar het huis te komen is erg hobbelig, maar dat staat goed beschreven. Paul wacht je halverwege op. Het huis is werkelijk schitterend, heel comfortabel en de omgeving is mooi, rustig en vredig. In de omgeving zijn veel mooie plaatsen te bezoeken en het was iedere avond weer thuiskomen. Helaas hebben we geen wandeling door de kurkenboomgaard gemaakt en geen winetasting. Ook daarvoor gaan we een keer terug. Heeeeeeel fijne plek!!!!!!

Ich bin mit meinen Eltern, meiner Schwester, meiner Freundin und unserem Baby eine Woche in der Unterkunft gewesen. Am liebsten wäre ich noch länger geblieben! Selten war Entspannung so einfach. Man hat sehr viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und das Haus ist einfach wunderschön und gepflegt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. Claus was the perfect host. The house is probably the most comprehensively furnished we have stayed in (and we've stayed in over 40 rental homes). The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the utensils one could need. The area is very quiet and rural, exactly what we wanted when we made the reservation. The views are wonderful. Great for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day. With that, it was very easy to get around and all the stores that one could want were found in the local town of Reguengos. Don't miss Monsaraz, less than 20 minutes by car. It is spectacular. Overall, don't hesitate to stay here!

Esta acomodação é fantástica. Fomos com uma família de 6 adultos e tivemos momentos maravilhosos em família e amigos. O local é de muita tranquilidade e paz. Elisete sempre muito atenciosa. Recomendamos a todos.

Ce fut notre 2e sejour chez Mariana, et ce fut encore un super moment. La maison et son environnement calme sont idéales pour un sehour reposant en famille. La piscine, le trampoline, le panier de basket, et le BBQ, tout est fait pour que tous passent un excellent moment ! Merci à Maria Leonor pour l’accueil et sa gentillesse !

Patrick and Gigi's place is a gem. The house was large, cool in the summer sun, and the view from the infinity pool will stay with us for a long time. The lounge area is huge (though we spent a lot of time by the pool), and the kitchen big and well equipped. There is plenty to do in the area: Arrialos itself is a quaint town; Evora is about half an hour away; Estermoz, Elvas and Vila Vicoza also eminently doable as day trips. A particular highlight for us were the prehistoric sites - stone circles, dolmens, megaliths - that dot the area. We had no particular interest in the subject before we went, but loved visiting these and having these amazing sites usually all to ourselves. There's a great museum about them in Mora, and the cave paintings of El Escoural are also worth seeing (you need to email beforehand to arrange to meet the guide at the site).
