We had such a beautiful family stay. Nice to get away and watch the stars at night and enjoy quality time. The spa and sauna makes the place as swimming or getting wet in summer is a must. The creeks on the property where a bit scary for us to swim in but we did have a quick dip at a recommended place opposite the property (worth driving too as the property is long and then the next driveway is long to hehe. When drove in the cows were everywhere and it was so fun to see! Really felt like a true homely vibe.

Staying att Gillians place was a highlight of our vacation, her place is even more stunning in reality. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to have easy access to everything the Byron Shire has to offer and still be able to land back in a house that is comfortable, beautiful and with a feeling of home away from home. Thanks for having us Stuart. Beautiful well equiped house, spa on the deck overlooking the massive tree and rolling green hills was such a treat. Started and finished both days in there. Views are incredible from the house the sunset brought a whole new meaning to “Golden Hour”. Was truly magic. We will be back again!

House - clean, modern, spacious. Expansive yard for our kids & dog to run around. Location - great location (5min drive from Masa bakery, 10min from main beach, 5min to The Farm). Quiet spot, kids could ride their bikes down the street. Communication- thank you Hayley for checking in, mentioned there was a wasp nest outside & within a day pest control was arranged while we were out & wasps were gone.

Matthew was was awesome in communicating and the place was awesome. Loved how private it was .. highly recommend

Anneke’s Retreat was everything that was promised. It has an amazing collection of indoor and outdoor activities available - bikes, boogy boards, paddle ski. It was very well stocked with firewood (for the cool weather). The pantry and kitchen are exceptionally well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The bbq was very easy to use - a real bonus as we cooked and ate mostly out on the wonderful deck overlooking the large creek. The bedrooms are very well appointed with toppers and bamboo sheets. It is definitely pet friendly with bedding, toys and bowls for the pets. I could go on - suffice to say - an exceptional place to stay. AND we’ll be back!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed it immensely. A very comfortable and spacious home with a lot of natural light. It’s a beautiful old Queenslander with a wrap-around verandah, which was so enjoyable to sit out on and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. The house was comfortable, private and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Located just a 10 minute drive to Tintenbar where there’s a general store and post office and only a 20 minute drive to Lennox Head (beach). Hannah was a great host and always helpful, friendly and very responsive to all our questions. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Our family (10 of us) stay at the Hut in Possum Creek was amazing. The location is nicely tucked away in a quiet / private spot, yet still easily accessible for exploring Byron and the surrounding hinterlands. The property itself is also outstanding — spacious, well kept, with great pool and beautiful backyard backing onto a creek. Truly had everything we needed for a special family getaway, plus more! Anna and the hosts were also super friendly and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special getaway in Byron.

If you get the chance to spend time here do it. This is a really special place. The home is super stylish and comfortable and the location is absolutely amazing. Calm and peaceful yet close to so much. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Steven is very easy to communicate with.

Top-notch stay. Once we were there, it was so hard to leave! Hayden was amazingly responsive and quick to answer our questions before and during our stay. 10/10 recommend - fingers crossed we get to come back one day!

This was a unique yet amazing experience! Being amongst wildlife and with great people really made for a fantastic stay and I would 100% do it again. Great value for money too. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Loved Hayden’s peaceful picturesque studio!! Perfect size for a romantic getaway & everything we needed. Easy to park & beautiful walks nearby & so affordable. Thanx for quick friendly responsive communication Hayden. Would definitely recommend to others xx

Spent 4 nights at Mark’s home In the clouds. Fantastic views (when it wasn’t raining) and a great retreat from the occasionally pesky leeches. Walking in the rainforest comes with joys like that, so it was great to know a cosy dry place awaited me. The studio packed a huge amount into its tiny space (but with a gigantic bathroom??). The technology took some patience, but sticking with Mark’s detailed notes helped. Be aware the fridge is tiny which places a limit on supplies, but likely not a problem if you’re only staying a night or two. And there’s always the Teahouse as a backup. (Also no washing machine.) Mark provides detailed notes, which are very helpful. The price isn’t cheap, but I’d rather that than a tent or dark and damp cabin.

Great apartment across the road from wide Sandy beach. Easy walk to restaurants and bars.Lovely sitting out on the large deck overlooking the ocean. Nice and quiet even though the hotel is only a couple of doors down

What a gorgeous apartment. Bedroom 1 (for us split into twin beds) faces the valley, with spectacular view, and bedroom 2 towards trees with birdsong the only noise Very nicely appointed. Plenty of tea and coffee for us. We had one night in and one at the teahouse. Both delicious. Sunset drinks on the balcony both nights

Absolutely beautiful place. Stunning view off the huge veranda, with beautiful sounds of birds and nature. Great kitchen and bbq for cooking and entertaining. Pool and spa were excellent. Good sized beds which were all comfy. My friends and I had a great stay and didn’t want to leave. Paul was excellent to deal with and prompt with responding. Paul sorted out a couple issues I had created in a respectful manor as well, so hats off to him for that. Bonus points for having the friendly Kookaburra come and hang out everyday also.

Amazing home for our 2 families of 10! Fantastic home in an ideal location ~ close to great cafes, restaurants and great beaches. The home was absolutely perfect with lots of added extras including pantry items, cleaning products, coffee pods and beach towels. The kids had an amazing time using the bikes, paddle boards and canoes left for us to use. Our host Keisha was extremely helpful and very quick in responding to our questions. We will definitely be back to visit! Thank you 😊

We were privileged to stay at Serenity which exceeded our expectations to celebrate our mother's 80th Birthday! We were 4 families thrown together for four days. There were ample areas to just sit and relax separately not feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen/dining area was the main gathering point with an abundance of space. The butler's pantry was a dream with a plethora of crockery and glass wear - everything you could ask for and more. The 2 dishwashers were a god send as was the BBQ! Everything supplied has been very well thought of. The bikes were an added special bonus with many a cycle to Caba, Kingscliff or beyond as well as the pool table which was a major hit. We loved the privacy in close proximity to the southern Gold Coast area and Kingscliff. It really started feeling like home. Do yourself a favour and book for your next large gathering - it will not disapoint! We will definitely be back next year for another family get together.

The Eco Retreat was amazing. It was the perfect little escape for a relaxing weekend. The view out to ‘The Cloud Catcher’ was awesome and you could just sit on the balcony with nothing but nature in view and in the ears. The pool and its surrounding area were also top notch. All round just a great place for slow pace and peace n quiet. Didn’t really want to leave to be honest. Graham was also great, responsive, attentive and very easy going. Great just to sit with and have a chat. Will definitely be back when in need of a break from the hussle.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I had entered an oasis of healing and self reflection with a transcendence of kind energy, as Paul made me a fresh cup of tea and told me about his path to help others transform their journey through various holistic practices. I did manage to try out the light and sound therapy experience, and would 100% recommend it for anyone interested in healing and science. The shower utilised a rain water tank, and the bedroom was surrounded by beautiful scenery, sounds of birds, and rustling trees. These of course added to the overall ability to relax and unwind. I ventured out to the mineral pool on a few occasions, which was surprisingly a comfortable temperature till late in the evening. Locally, there was an abundance of things to see and do, and Paul made sure I was informed. The various house guest all made me feel so welcome, one inviting me to her birthday and another preparing and sharing a curry, health tips and drinks. Thank you 🙏

The house was nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of the ocean and stars at night. The house was nice and spacious, especially the deck. However, it was not well maintained. We experienced a broken fan and a broken tool to open the windows that were too high to reach. Part of what makes this house really special is the beautiful big windows that look out onto a stunning view. However, there were no screens and it was quite warm in the house unless the windows were open. At night we felt the need to close the windows due to bugs, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us in the evenings.

Everything about our stay was memorable. Wonderful and thoughtful hosts with carefully curated personal touches. Your own private oasis awaits and you will never want to leave!
