Exuma : locations de vacances avec kayak

We absolutely loved this beautiful beach house and Fernandez Bay Beach. September is when most restaurants are closed, we were so thankful Jana had such a well stocked kitchen. We did enjoy conch salad at Duke’s twice and delicious dinners twice at Hidden Treasures at Regatta/Cultural Park. Water view out both bedrooms, dining area, living room and back porch was spectacular! Amazing sunrises off front porch over the coconut tree and sunsets from the back porch. Great snorkeling, kayaking and exploring by the rocks in all directions. Cat Island is friendly, natural, uncrowded. Alvernia’s Food Store was great for car rental and the freshest groceries/good selection during our 2 week stay. The Cat Island map made it easy to explore/adventure out each day, great pics! Always nice to be back at the beach house for a swim and outdoor shower! Nice hot indoor showers if rain approached. Definitely planning to return! Thankful to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary at such a special place!

Thank you Beth for sharing your beautiful home! We had an absolute blast. Our group decided against renting a car at the last minute, taxi’s were affordable and got us to where we were going on time, always bake in some time if using a taxi, our drivers were always busy, but certainly made time for us. We boated with fun stops and lunch, enjoyed some downtime at the house for kayaking and exploring, and did another boat day for lobster and some snapper….it was amazing and everyone was very welcoming. Thank you Beth! The house is perfect. We’ll be back for sure!

Alicia & Robert’s place was excellent. Just as described/shown in photos. The beach access was a few steps away & the beautiful blue waters always in view. House was clean & beds were very comfortable. All the necessities were available to us. I mainly communicated with Alicia & she was truly STELLAR. 5 STARS! You can really tell the effort she puts into maintaining the space & making sure guests know all the best locations to visit & eat at - all that the beauty of Exuma has to offer. The effort Alicia puts into this airbnb is unmatched. It’s a LOT of work to be in constant communication with inquiries with guests & any concerns that arise with an Airbnb listing. She goes above & beyond with helping plan the trip & any questions we had. We really had no major issues during our stay - Robert assisted clearing some slightly clogged drains from prior guests & a fan reinstallation - handy & helpful. We would absolutely come back to Exuma again & stay at Monkey Sea!

A true beach house! The view is incredible, and we slept very well, lulled by the sound of the waves. The location is convenient, close to everything by car, yet still peaceful. Edahlia is a responsive and available host, always ready to answer any questions. I especially appreciated being able to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets in complete tranquility. The direct access to a nearly deserted beach is a real plus for those looking for a quiet retreat. An ideal spot for an authentic Exumas experience! We definitely want to come back ! The house was as described. If you are looking for a quiet little place with your own personal cove/beach area, then you have found it. The only people we saw was an occasional boat go by. There is 1 neighbor, however we only saw them leave in the morning and come home at night. We enjoyed using the kayak and beach chairs the most.

Charlene and Pedro’s home “ Bonefish Flat was perfect of everything we needed on our vacation. The location right on the water was absolutely breathtaking. It is worth noting that the roads to the home are very beat up and would strongly recommend an SUV or Jeep to access it. We did have a car and a were able to find a way without any damage , but just wanted to pass that on. The location is only about 8 minutes to Georgetown which was perfect for grocery shopping .I would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you again Charlene and Pedro !! Your house was wonderful!! We are very thankful for the breakfast items provided also!! Cheers!!

Lovely resort. We were in villa 3. Just around the corner from the pool and resort restaurant. It was clean and well stocked. Just keep in mind that the area has limited restaurants within walking distance. We did not get a car and taxis are easy to get but would recommend a car. This unit has a kitchenette. We would bring a few breakfast lunch options with if we return in the future. Beautiful beach and friendly staff. Felt safe our entire stay. Would definitely return.

Le logement était vraiment très propre, pour moi qui suis très exigeante c’était vraiment extra ! Nous avons été accueillis à l’aéroport et le logement était prêt à notre arrivée qui était bien plus matinale qu’annoncée sur l’heure du Check in. Le cottage donne sur une crique absolument fabuleuse, une terrace avec une vue splendide. Dans ce cottage, vous êtes au paradis ! Je n’ai qu’une envie, revenir ! De plus, Terrence nous a emmené en excursion bateau pour une journée et ce fut magique ! Tout était vraiment exceptionnel !

We had the most wonderful time and experience! We enjoyed our excursion with DJ and walking in the bay and on the beach. Recommend getting a golf cart while there to explore and get to the restaurants. Ida has them available. They were so responsive, as we had lots of questions. They picked us up and took us to the airport, which was wonderful and Ida showed us around the island before taking us to our cottage. Beautiful views of the bay off the back of the house and of the beach from the front porch. We would love to go back. So peaceful and perfect! Highly recommend!

Lovely place! I am glad we read the reviews before we went. The beach is sandy, but not all the way into the water. It is on the rocky side of the beach. Wear shoes to go into the ocean! This is a good location, outside of town. We visited several beaches on both sides of the island. Where the villa is located, the ocean is calmer.

Pro's: Sasha was incredibly sweet and responsive, quickly resolving any issues that arose. We loved the place. Just be sure you understand that this is a triplex configuration, so if you end up with noisy neighbors, you'll know it. Our neighbors were quiet.

The house and location were spectacular; modern home and amazing views from every window. We saw turtles in the lagoon in front of the house every morning. Be aware that the lagoon is full of cassiopea jelly-fish (upside down jellyfish) which release stinging mucous into the water so don't hang out in the water long or snorkel in that area. We only had a few days to stay which was not enough time! So much to explore near the house especially with the kayak and paddle boards. Also close to beautiful beaches on little exuma. We will definitely be back!

Shirls place is very relaxing and accommodating, the view of The Tropic of Cancer Beach is breathtaking. the cottage was clean and provides all amenities for your stay, like most areas in Exuma there are mosquitoes so be prepared. My 8 days was truly sexy.
