Eyjafjörður : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We hebben een fantastische week gehad. Mooi ruim opgezet huis. Schoon en Knus. Einde van de dag heerlijk in de jacuzzi. Iedere avond genoten van het noorderlicht. Prima plek voor uitstapjes in het noorden van IJsland. 30 kilometer van Akureyri. In de buurt nog lekker gewandeld (voormalig zwembadroute langs rivier). Komen graag terug.

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

La casa di Holmfridur Sólveig è perfetta per un soggiorno nel nord dell’Islanda. La casa ha tutto: cucina completa di tutto, bel bagno, bella vista e per di più c’è anche una vasca esterna di acqua calda geotermica. Posizione ottima. Grazie

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are fantastic , lovely hot tub too. We booked whale watching and also drove out to myvatn, and stopped at lots of features along the way. It was all really easy from the house.

Easily one of the top 3 Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. The location provides a breathtaking view of the valley, and dark skies provided spectacular auroras at night. The hot tub was a fantastic way to sit outside for hours despite the cold and watch the dancing lights in the sky. Meanwhile, the beds and couches were all very comfortable, the appliances and kitchen all functional and clean. I could honestly stay here for ever, and will certainly try my absolute best to come back.

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Anna greeted us on arrival. She was friendly and full of tips and advice. The guest house was just as described - it looked exactly like the photos. The directions to find it were accurate and easy to follow. My personal favourite feature was the hot tub which I used every day. My mum’s favourite time was being shown around the massive greenhouse by Anna - it was certainly an education. I would love to stay here again.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

10/10 space. We left and couldn’t stop thinking about how awesome it was. Between the hottub and comfortable beds it was stellar. I very much look forward to returning <3

Our first Air BnB thatcame with smiles and handshakes! Helga and her husband are not only great hosts but great people as well. The communication back and forth was quick and easy. Any question we we got an answer instantly... and follow her directions not google! The farm is on one of the most beautiful pieces of land with the most outstanding views, yet a very short to town, grocery store, etc. The space had everything we needed, including a very spacious shower with hot water for days! The bed was very comfy but our favorite room was the living area with all the awesome views. My husband and I now have a joke that Helga turned on the Northern Lights for us... after 8 nights in Iceland with no lights we were able to experience this phenomenon right out the front door. Thanks Helga! Don’t hesitate to book when staying in Akureyri, we hope to be back again one day!

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

아이슬란드 3주간 여행 중인데 지금까지 묵었던 숙소 중에 단연 1등 숙소입니다!!집이 사진보다 넓고, 침실도 따로 있고, 침구도 깨끗하고 집 전체적으로 깨끗합니다. 부족할 거 없이 모든 게 갖춰져 있고 세탁기도 탈수가 정말 잘 되어서 편리했어요! 무엇보다 사장님이 정말 친절하셨고... 농장 투어도 아이슬란드에서 쉽게할 수 없는 귀한 경험이었어요!! 강아지 두마리가 너무 착하고 귀여워서 하루 종일 같이 놀았고, 지루할 틈 없었습니다. 체크인할 때 주신 계란과 우유... 덕분에 인생 라떼를 마셨습니다!! 이 후기를 보시는 모든 분들 고민하지 마시고 꼭 여기서 묵으세요!!! 절대 절대 후회 안 합니다!!!!!!

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.

Séjour inoubliable avec nos 2 filles dans une vallée au bout du monde sous la neige, accueillis par Mickael aussi chaleureux que l’ambiance de son chalet. Si vous aimez les grands espaces à l’écart de la civilisation, ce lieu est fait pour vous. Aurores boréales le premier soir, baleines à Davlik, bains chauds à la piscine de Davlik et des balades enneigées. Nous repartons enchantés. Merci Mickael.

The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.
