The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Would absolutely stay again. Communication was second to none. Thank you, thank you!

La maison de Oya et Ned nous a beaucoup plu. L'intérieur est très cosy et confortable. Nous y étions en décembre et il y faisait chaud. La literie était moelleuse. Oya et Ned nous ont bien accueillis et se sont montrés disponibles quand nous avions besoin de leurs conseils. Le logement se trouve a une dizaine de minutes de bons restaurants et de rues très animées. Il y a quelques petites échoppes à quelques minutes de la maison.

Gia a vedersi sembrava perfetta, ma nella realtà lo è stato ancora di più, ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative!La casa è stupenda, grande, pulitissima, curata nei minimi dettagli. La cucina è dotata di ogni cosa che ti possa servire per sentirti come a casa e anche di più,il bagno è perfetto, doccia ottima, acqua calda senza problemi, camera da letto dotata di ogni confort, aria condizionata sia nel salone che nella camera da letto, lavatrice, stendino, asciugamani, saponi. Nel salone c’è una grande tv. Tutta la casa è super luminosa, è divisa su due piani. La zona circostante è molto tranquilla, un bel posto, sicuro e piacevole, c’è un centro commerciale vicinissimo con caffè, ristoranti, atm, supermercato, ogni cosa di cui potresti aver bisogno. C’è un piccolo spazio esterno confortevole. È facile trovare mezzi di trasporto e taxi. L’host è gentile e disponibile. Ti verrà voglia di vivere in questa casa, non perdere altro tempo, per noi sarà sempre nel nostro cuore. Grazie

We were so happy here. The place is comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. Location in Balat is steps away from cafes, restaurants, and shops. Really felt like we were part of the neighborhood. Highly recommend Riza's home.

The apartment is impeccable exactly as in the photos, it is spacious, well equipped with very good quality furniture and everything you need, in a very nice and well-kept building. The location is extraordinary, a few steps from restaurants and transportation. The staff is very friendly, with excellent communication and helpful, they even offered us transportation to the airport which is convenient and at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this apartment in Istanbul with a large group and had an excellent experience. The place was incredibly clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Its close proximity to a tram stop made getting around the city quick and convenient. We also loved the neighborhood itself: there were plenty of places to eat nearby, and walking around was very enjoyable. On top of that, the hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with, making check-in and any inquiries simple and efficient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable place in Istanbul — especially if you’re traveling with a bigger group!

Super cozy flat in a quiet hilly neighborhood. The WiFi is only really working on the top floor but otherwise nothing to complain about. Tea, coffee, water — all available. Oh, and the sunset from the balcony is fantastic.

This location is perfect! Walking distance to great restaurants and cafe shops where they speak full English and have fast internet. As for the host, she’s incredible helpful. She’s proactive and a sweetheart. Sincerely, the perfect host to have as a foreigner, especially if it’s your first time in Istanbul, as it was for me. She was beyond helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t express how lucky I was and how lucky you’d be to stay here. The beds are of immaculate comfort and the area is quiet. Makes for peaceful mornings. And she has a coffee shop downstairs which is a sweet visit.

We were very happy with the apartment. It was very clean and very big, perfect for 5 people. The owner of the apartment was also very friendly and accommodating. He sent us all the necessary information in good time and was always available. If you had any questions you could always write to him and he helped you. He also gave us lots of helpful tips on how best to get around and what was nearby. We can only recommend the apartment 👍🏻 Thank you very much

I booked a lot of houses in Beyoğlu before but none of them was this clean. So pretty, lots of rooms to stay with a nice view. Turn around the corner and you are at İstiklal. From coffee machine to tea maker you can find anything. Would definetely stay again.

What a great stay! Location, View, Furniture, Cleanness, Amenities, everything was just wonderful. Khalid was a great host, highly responsive and supportive, made everything possible and did his best to make our stay even more exciting. I strongly recommend this apartment, and definitely coming back. It is my new home in Istanbul.

Die Wohnung war einfach fantastisch — außerordentlich sauber, sehr ruhig und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Die Lage ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gastgeber: äußerst fürsorglich, immer erreichbar und voller toller Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!! Absolute Empfehlung!!!!

I contemplated to book because we came as a family 2 adults +1 teen & a kid so size is somewhat matter. Turned out I made a perfect choice ❤️. Yes, it doesn't have a living room, but the main room is properly sized and super comfy (not to mention the beautiful chandelier!). Location wise is the best to explore Galata area, Taksim, old city, all within walking distance (w/ so much to see & eat haha). I recommend Adiguzel 1 minute walk, owned by a very kind gentleman. They serves delicious turkish dishes. Weather was wet & cold during our stay, coming home after a cold day outside was such a relief. I can see that Zeynep put so much effort when renovating the unit. Full marble bathroom with natural olive based soap & shampoo. Pristine clean kitchen w/ every basic thing needed for the stay. There's a beautiful terrace on the 4th fl overlooking Golden Horn & old city. We arrived early in the morning. She let us check in early with no add cost. Thx so much! Highly recommend!

This is the first time I used Airbnb, and I have to say it was such a great experience, that I will definitely be using it again. I always used to stay at the hotels in Istanbul, this time there were five of us, and we wanted to be together in a modern, clean, easily accessible place. Eyup's apartment was all we were looking for! From the first moment we felt like we were at home! The whole concept of entering the apartment by lift directly, the size of the apartment, modern furniture, all modern equipment (TV / excellent wi-fi, fridge, all necessary gadgets in the kitchen), everything was functioning very well. The apartment was warm, which is just what we needed in snowy Istanbul. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in the neighborhood, short walk to Karakoy/Galata, and all touristy places. What struck me most was that Eyup, Ali and Mehmet Bey were always at hand to help with anything we might need. Excellent experience, and not the last time we stayed there, for sure! Thank you

We had the pleasure of staying at Muge’s apartment for a week, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The location was fantastic, conveniently close to the hospital ( since our trip goal was seeing a doctor, in addition to sightseeing ), nice restaurants nearby , and public transport( taxi and Metrobus 50 meters away ) , yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful at night. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was equipped with everything we needed and more! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi in the rooms area could be better though, in addition to a cozy living area perfect for unwinding. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. If we ever return to this area, we wouldn’t think twice about staying here again.

Schöne Altbauwohnung mitten in Galatasaray, eine sehr belebte Umgebung. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit viel Platz. Am Wochenende hat der Dudelsackspieler des Irish Pub großes Durchhaltevermögen bewiesen!

Great view from the balcony and living room (the windows were a bit dirty though). Great access to public transport, everything was perfect, washing machine, dish washer, large fridge, tv, furniture and everything you would need to make a dinner.

We immensely enjoyed our stay here. We stayed nearly a month at this AirBnB and really dug into Istanbul, which means we cooked quite a few meals at the apartment and spent a good amount of time getting to know it. The view from the bedrooms is just spectacular - and if you're here to write or work at all, the main bedroom has a lovely desk with a view out toward the Golden Horn. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the space ample enough for three of us. You should know that it's a step or two away from the more tourist area, a fact that we sought out and appreciated. It was quiet, contemplative, and gorgeous. Thank you Erhan!
