Faial Island : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We enjoyed amaizing view on Pico mountain, specially in the mornings from our bedroom, definitely keeps you longer in bad. It is a spacy house with big garden, planty of birds and lovely company of cows on neighbouring lands.

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

Paulo war ein toller Host, wir konnten schon etwas früher vor dem eigentlichen Check-In in die Unterkunft. Auf Pico sollte man sich definitiv ein Auto besorgen, zum eigentlichen Kern von Sao Roque benötigt man sonst zu Fuß 45 min. Die Wohnung selbst war aber sehr hell und liebevoll ausgetstattet. Daher gerne wieder!

Rodger welcomed us on arrival for check in, he was friendly and gave us some local recommendations for fish restaurants. The apartment was good for us, the terrace is beautiful with great views across to Faial. The surroundings are very pretty and the ocean views are dramatic. You can fall asleep here listening to the ocean crashing against the cliffs. The accommodation is fairly basic but it was clean, warm and in my view very much worth it for the views and experience.

Wir haben unsere Aufenthalt genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist modern und bietet einen schönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Küche ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet und es gibt alles, was man sich wünschen könnte. Besonders süß waren die Katzen, die sich gerne streicheln lassen haben. Wir vermissen sie jetzt schon. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!!!

The house is lovely and secluded, at nighttime you can hear the local birds (cory shearwaters) outside your window. The closest bigger supermarket is located in Lajes do Pico, approx. 15min drive. The local pool is within walking distance and it's free of charge! Like most public pools on the Azores it's a sea water pool. Most of the main attractions are located along the West coast of the island, so you will definitely need a car. We found the host Steffi super friendly and helpful! Thank you

We recommend the nice house and garden! We enjoyed the remote location a lot. Loved the outdoor shower, air conditioning (the weather was very humid) and the terraces for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of space for 4 people. There is a bike, but you need a car to visit most of the places. There are two walks you can start right from the house (Capelinhos, Capeço Verde).

Beautiful property with conveniences of home. Ana and Luis were responsive and helpful. Large and modern home was great for our family!

Reginas Appartement in São Roque do Pico ist sehr liebevoll, stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Das Appartement befindet sich in einer ruhigen Umgebung wenige Straßen vom Meer entfernt und liegt perfekt um die Insel Pico in all ihrer Schönheit zu entdecken. Wir hatten eine wirklich traumhafte schöne Zeit auf Pico und können das Appartement und Regina als tolle, aufmerksame und reaktionsschnelle Gastgeberin nur sehr empfehlen.

We absolutely loved staying at Margit’s home. It was so beautiful and we felt so at home there. Nestled between the mountain and the ocean, we could not have asked for a more perfect place to call home during our stay on the beautiful island of Pico! There is a short walk to a natural (slightly man made) pool next to the ocean where you can also jump into the ocean and there are stairs to climb out. there are no sand beaches on Pico so this is how you swim safely! It's great!

Nuno war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Empfehlungen für die Insel gegeben, egal ob Aktivitäten oder Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war größer als erwartet, ordentlich und sauber. Von der Terrasse hat man eine tolle Aussicht.

Une maison très agréable située au calme dans un endroit très paisible reposant et à proximité du centre ville et des activités proposées sur l'île. Maison au rdc et à partager avec d'autres résidents au 1er étage, sans problèmes avec accès privatifs bien séparés. Jolie piscine très agréable avec une magnifique vue mer. Maison très bien équipée, excellente literie et une hôte très réactive et bienveillante.

We stayed four nights at this place and really enjoyed it!!! The apartment is located in a quiet area where you can see and hear the ocean. We went out for dinner at Magma, as recommended, and fell in love with this restaurant :) We would definitely return to this apartment again!!!

THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Every part is perfect! It’s the only house that we stayed during our holidays that is decorated for Christmas, and you can feel the thoughtfulness from the host. Indeed the house is well maintained and you have everything needed for living here. Many check-in gifts. Amazing view of the sea and the volcano. Taisa is very kind and helpful. I really hope to visit again.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

It was the best Airbnb experience we have ever had! Palmira and Mario are one of a kind. We have never met hosts being that friendly, welcoming and heartwarming like them before. We regretted that we only stayed for three days and can’t wait to come back. Only after this short period of time it felt like family we left behind when we had to leave again. Besides that they also own a fantastic house with a terrace (and room) that offers the best view over Lajes and the ocean. If you decide to stay with Palmira and Mario you will have an unforgettable holiday for sure. We want to thank them again and will always keep in mind - LIFE IS GREAT!

Vitamin Sea Azores was just perfect! It was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked with brand new appliances, and exceptionally clean. We rented out both top and bottom apartments, for the five of us, with lots of rooms and space to spare. The pool is well maintained with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside and ocean. Bed sheets were first class! Our host Britanny was also first class as she had everything we needed to make us feel right at home, and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. Location was also great because it was just a short car ride to downtown Horta with so many great restaurants as well as other beautiful places in island of Faial. We also took the ferry over to the island of Pico, for a day tour, which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and return to such a natural and relaxing place.

Palmira and Mario were amazing hosts. They attended all our needs and then some! They provided valuable information about Pico and Portugal. They were always fun and full of laughter. We loved sharing stories with them. Their life stories were incredible for sure! Their breakfasts were terrific, so much food, all local and organic. Their home is very clean and the views there, unsurpassed. Best part-we are thrilled to be able to count them as friends now! Of course, we can’t wait to return...❤️

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.
