We loved staying at this MMC location! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend a week relaxing and working remotely. The WiFi was fast and reliable - we had about 4 - 5 devices connected at all times and had no issues with streaming or zoom calls. The cabin was big enough for both of us to work comfortably - with one of us set up on the main level and the other in the basement. I’m a little loud on the phone but with the door closed, he couldn’t really hear me. We only used the bedroom and bathroom on the main level but the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. We cooked most of our meals in and found that we had enough cookware and utensils to make everything we wanted to make with no issue. We also used the grill - which was definitely a nice to have. The location is a bit remote (as the listing states), but we really appreciated the quiet of the street and surroundings. We’ll definitely book again!

This cabin was beautiful. The set up was unique which works out very well. It has an older vibe too it which makes it nice and cozy. There is an incredible view of the valley and Shannondale lake which you can see from so many different angles on this property. The owners were always very responsive to any questions I had. A wonderful place to stay and book.

The outdoor hot tub on a snowy evening at sunset was lovely. We did have to cut our stay a day short due to a snowstorm and the extraordinarily steep roads that are not a priority for the snow plows, but the days we were there were lovely.

Ashley’s place is clean and in a quiet location. However it is located in a reasonable distance from Leesburg and other towns.

Our Bookclub stayed here for a weekend retreat and it was the perfect find! Plenty of beds for us all but just great space for a large group - a table big enough for a large group, multiple cozy spaces, and a great outdoor patio and fire pit! Very secluded but easy driving distance to Middleburg and Leesburg.

This was a fantastic stay. The place is wonderful, has beautiful grounds, and is just as listed. Between the ping pong table, fire pit, and hot tub, there is also a ton to do on the property. Can’t recommend this more!

This cabin was cozy, has wonderful up to date furniture, the beds and pillows were comfortable and there was a new coffee grinder, coffee pot, tea kettle and we were supplied with almost everything we needed! The blankets supplied were good quality and cozy!

Great place! Stellar views, cozy, and close enough to everything in town you'd want to do.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Wife and I stayed from 10/10/24 - 10/14/24 and we absolutely loved the cabin. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Harpers Ferry and the surrounding area. We will definitely be recommending this place.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations. Country living at its finest. This spot was beautiful, serene and immaculately clean. The pictures didn’t do it justice to be honest. Caleb was very responsive. A great host! I will definitely be back!!

Wow! What a great experience! I would absolutely come back again. Please let me describe my experience. If you’ve never lived on a mountain or been in a mountainous area, be prepared but be in awe of the view and tranquility. There are plenty of places to frequent and visit but the best part is the silence and your surroundings. Build a fire, watch a movie, wake up early to see the sunrise. It is beautiful and tranquil. I would highly recommend especially to anyone who frequents the city; Get away and enjoy your stay! Thank you Abby for an awesome adventure ❤️ I will be back!

We had a bit of a rough start with key code not working and waiting 30 minutes to hear back from the host with new instructions. Once he got back to us, everything else went smoothly. We love the location and the cottage was very charming. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We loved all of the plants. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the shower. There is an adorable shop and bakery right across the street and the town itself is very cute. Lots of wonderful places to explore nearby, if we had had better weather for our stay. We would love to stay here again. Jeffrey was very friendly in communication.

It was a beautiful place, we enjoyed all the activities that the home had and all the places he recommended. We felt at home.

This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for something quick. Lovely hostess, very kind. Lots of beautiful wildlife and a quality fire pit. We got back from the concert at 4:30am and had a fire and everything was ok, what more could a man ask for?

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

Wonderful and cozy stay in stunning setting - great if you want to go camping with a bit more comfort. The train was quite loud so good to be aware of that, but we had anticipated it so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Hope to come back next year!

Peaceful place to stay in the woods w/wonderful view of mountains (& sunset) from front balcony. Serene view of woods from dining room with big windows that make you feel like ur eating outside. Decor is clean / not cluttered. Kitchen has all the things needed to make meals. We truly enjoyed our stay but only drawback is the house is not super accessible for those with mobility issues (cane). To enter house u have to walk around exterior to paver stones & then up some stairs to balcony. Garage can then be opened for access which saved us. There are a couple of steps inside the house between dining room/kitchen & hallway/office area. Stairs to downstairs are super duper steep - we knew there would be stairs but were surprised at the steepness so one in our party could not go downstairs at all. The challenge with that is there is only 1 TV in the whole house & it’s downstairs. With no bathroom downstairs our person staying in downstairs bedroom had to go upstairs for bathroom.

I loved it. It was so fun to be on top of the mountain and a beautiful home. We loved our stay.

Quiet and cozy place to relax and get away from the hustle of the city. The host was very responsive. I recommend it.
