Peter's property was the IDEAL HOME BASE for my exploration of western Connecticut. The home was extremely clean and tidy, mattresses were very comfortable, linens and towels were of nice quality, the kitchen was well equipped, and the yard was safe and easily accessible for my dogs. I truly felt like Peter's guest when I saw ground coffee in the cupboard, ample silverware, extra paper towels, hand soap, new kitchen sponges, and high end fragrance diffusers. After a long day of travel, it was nice to relax without having to clean the home. I was impressed by how quiet this neighborhood was considering how closely set the homes are to one another and how many year-round families live in the area. It's truly a pedestrian neighborhood with miles of sidewalks for relaxed walking. The gem is proximity to the lovely marina and beach. Peter was an excellent host! He offered many recommendations during my stay and was always quick to respond despite being on vacation himself.

Great place to stay close to all the things you’d love to do if you’re a person that loves sights and places to eat. Easy to get too!

We lived in Joseph’s fantastic place as a team of 4 chaperons and 7 teenagers attending the tournament of champions at Yale University. Everything about this listing is fantasy - proximity to the beach and amenities, the decor, furniture and fixings, and Joseph’s super speed in response and guidance. Every one of us was stoked and it’s a place we’d love to come back to and call home again after a while.

Nice house with ample space and large master bedroom suite, across the street from the beach. Benjamin was very responsive with communication. The house fit our needs for the month. No complaints. Had all that we needed.

Great location on wide, beautiful, private beach! Lots of outdoor space on beach and patio with grill for BBQ. Kayaks and SUPs were at provided, too. House is surprisingly spacious with seating for many in living room and dining table. Kitchen is large and supplied with basics needed for stay. Primary bedroom is huge and all the beds are very comfortable! Jillian was great with communication. Had a great time with our family spending days on beach, grilling dinner and bonfires at night!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Matthew was a great host and was very responsive and respectful. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend waking up for the sunrise, beautiful!

My daughter and I had a very peaceful short break in Milford; the house was cozy and warm; the beds were really comfortable. And it was a lovely quiet neighborhood. We appreciated being able to walk to the beach; and had fun exploring Connecticut.

The place matched the description perfectly and much more spacious than what one usually finds for a single bed/bath apartment. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. For me it was a perfect place to accommodate overflow thanksgiving guests over the holiday.

We had a wonderful stay! The house can accommodate large family gatherings - there were a lot of spaces for folks to spread out as well as gather. The kitchen is very well stocked. We would definitely rent again!

Classic charming beach house, updated with all the amenities. great views of the water and unbeatable sunrises. 2nd floor deck was very enjoyable for morning coffee made at the coffee bar owner was very responsive when a smoke detector needed a battery as extras were on site and she responded very quickly to a message for help. Family room was the hub of our activity with a generous dining table and views from the open kitchen. Heat/AC kept us comfortable on the chilly mornings. House is on quiet street a few houses from the Restaurants start a few blocks away and a short drive.

Jim’s place was an absolute gem for my inaugural trip to Black Rock! The Loft is incredibly spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness, attention to detail, and beautiful furnishings. Jim's communication was top-notch, making the entire experience seamless. One of the highlights was the extensive music collection, perfect for setting the mood during my downtime. The bed and furniture provided a level of comfort that made it hard to leave. Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street, the location couldn’t be better; it’s just a leisurely stroll away from delightful restaurants, charming shops, food markets, and more. I can’t wait to return for another stay whenever I’m in the area!

We loved this Beach House! The house was clean and the kitchen was full of cooking supplies. There was a variety of pots and pans to choose from. This was appreciated since we are picky about the type of pans we cook our food in. The host provided a binder full of menus for local restaurants and recommendations. Information on activities to do while visiting was also included within the binder. The house included a small fire pit that could be used at a distance from the house. It was just the right size to maintain safety and still be cozy from warmth. Dmitry and his team communicated clearly and were kind by providing us with information about the local St.Patricks Day Parade. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Perfect place to bring your family for a getaway trip. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Special thanks to the host for helping me resolve a package delivery issue.

Great place; wonderful 2 bed place, clean, cosy and top end, one of the nicer places I've stayed. Alison was super easy to communicate with and the location was great for a Christmas break. Was very happy with everything!

Eglantine's place was absolutely beautiful, warm, and charming. The bathtub was wonderful, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the view of the ocean was stunning. Eglantine was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This was absolutely a little slice of heaven on earth. The minute we walked in we felt right at home. Anna’s home is absolutely beautiful and organized. She created a flow throughout the home that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the beautiful view. Having the beach at your footsteps and that view was absolute medicine for the soul. We created fun family memories and enjoyed our walks on the beach. Anna was so attentive and responsive. It felt like talking with a friend ☺️ The sunsets and sunrises are just beautiful. We found ourselves barely leaving the home. Thank you for a very special week.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was perfectly located and had everything stocked you could ask for. We had two kiddos with us and they had everything needed for them as well. It’s a quiet street and they were so fast to respond (immediately). The only downside was that we had to leave to come back home. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for lot of space, privacy and convenience.

Beautiful stay! Came to CT with 2 winterstorms back to back and below freezing temps. The place was cozy and warm the whole time! A great place to relax and watch the tide come in and out. And the "throne" room has a great view!

This is the cutest bungalow, with the most spectacular views. When you stand in the kitchen, it almost looks like you are on a boat, all you see is the water. I was lucky I had a gorgeous sunset every night of my stay. The owners have utilized the space extremely creatively and the house has everything you should possibly need. The neighborhood is very pretty and a lovely area to walk around. It’s also very quiet. The neighbors are extremely friendly. The location of the home makes you feel away from town but it’s close enough to local restaurants, and even a Target, that you aren’t inconvenienced to run out to eat or grab groceries. The furniture is very comfortable, as are the mattresses. Water pressure is good. The home has all updated amenities. The heating and air is updated with a Nest thermostat. There is a grill, as well as kayaks, and lots of outdoor seating. The house is just as depicted in the pictures. I can’t wait to go back!!

Denise's place was perfect for us. 4 ladies stayed here to go to the soundside music festival and it was amazing. So close to the venue and relaxing in between festival-ing. Thanks, Denise.
