This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again

Tony and Angie's place was amazing for us. The property is huge and beautiful! We truly enjoyed the gardens. We wish we stayed a few more nights. The place was clean, free of clutter and very comfortable!

A great spot to stay above Lake Tekapo. Fantastic cooking facilities and super comfy beds after a days walking or kayaking. We had a great stay - it was lovely to wake up to the view of the lake in the morning!

Mel's place was cosy and just right for our 2 night stay. Located just a 3 min drive from the Market Place at Twizel. Convenient for dining and groceries. We visited Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo during our trip. This place is a good 40mins away from Mount Cook and was very convenient for us. She had a playground outside as well and children's toys. That kept our children happy and entertained. Great for families with young children.

We made a right choice to put a nite at Craig's place before heading to Twizel. Though it was just a short stay because we arrived very late, we had a good rest with comfy bed n good shower plus nice complete kitchen to enable us prepare a simple breakfast. Craig was nice to let us have an extra hour for check out. we totally recommend Craig's house to others. Thank you Craig

We spent a week at Gemma’s place while visiting for school MTB racing and I t was perfect! A clean, modern and functional home which was easy to heat on the cold nights and cool and airy on the hotter evenings. Beds were comfy, home well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a knife that cuts a tomato (the ultimate test in my book!). Gemma was easy to deal with and we had no issues at all. Gemma’s place will be on our list when we’re back in Methven.

Surrounded by amazing views with great star-gazing and sunrises over Timaru. Jillian was very responsive and accommodating when some trip details happened to change. Much appreciated and would happily stay again

Stayed 2 nights here and it was very comfortable and clean. Peaceful environment and shops/supermarkets are just few mins drive away!

What an incredible place to stay in Methven! The home is large and has everything you could need. We brought our infant, and Franz was so accommodating by providing us with pack-n-play, high chair, toys. Such a comfortable home with many interesting vintage items and decorations. Such great value too!

We love Alex’s place. Tidy, clean, warm, cosy. Lucky we are able to book at the last minute. The place is walkable to the main attraction in Lake Tekapo.

Schönes und geräumiges Haus mit Outdoor Sitz- und Grillmöglichkeit und komfortablem Loungebereich. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundung des Mt. Cook NP. Ausreichende und komplett ausgestattete Küche zur Selbstversorgung.

We absolutely loved our stay here. My wife and I were travelling with our 2-month-old as well as my parents. Facilities absolutely fantastic, so many children's toys to entertain all ages and even a baby bath! Just brilliant. Beautiful, peaceful location with easy access to Mt Cook Village and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend to future travellers and hope to return again before too long!

We had a nice 3 day stay at Paula's place. It was close enough to town to walk to the museum, restaurants, and Kurow Hill. It was in a peaceful setting and had all the amenities we needed. Paula was responsive and provided lots of information on things to do in and around Kurow. Would recommend as a stop on the A2O or travels around the Mackenzie region.

This place is just amazing. With such a great view, and close to everything - Tekapo lake, Church of the Good Shepherd, and even the mount John observatory. The house is very cozy and luxurious, with a nice wooden fireplace for your perfect warm night gathering. I would come back to this place if I get another chance to visit lake Tekapo.

We cannot recommend Genna’s place highly enough. Firstly, it was absolutely spotless, secondly the care and thought that has gone into the facilities was impressive. Lovely touches like plumped pillows or flatter pillows, a kitchen full of every utensil and pot and pan and a spacious bathroom with a divine shower! We really could not have asked for anything more on our overnight stop over from Canterbury. Thanks Genna, we hope to be back!

Nice and tidy house. Great size for the six of us. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. We had no issues would recommend. Thanks
