Our stay at Paula's place was perfect. We really did feel immediately at home. We were looking for relaxation and calm and Paula's cottage delivered. It's beautifully decorated, with some very stylist touches. It was very clean, with a well equipped homely kitchen and comfy beds The cottage has fabulous views over the Angus county side. We loved the spa (swam and used the sauna every day). We would recommend the Arbroath cliff walk , followed by lunch in Arbroath. Paula and Robert were very welcoming and helpful. I can't recommend Balgarvie Home Farm highly enough, I hope to return next year.

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). Fantastic country estate home. We felt very much at home here. Set in some beautiful private grounds well out the way. Beautiful walks down the river and through the woods. The house is extremely spacious with all the mod cons you’d expect. The house felt warm and welcoming from the start. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Pool area was clean and tidy as well. Couldn’t rate this place enough. Overall a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Would happily return to Monkwood House.

Really lovely stay in this perfectly located house in Drymen. Very close to the local amenities which made life incredibly easy with our 1 year old baby. Would definitely stay again when we're next in the area!

James and Jennifer were very quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and comfortable stay. Super comfy beds which is always welcome! Lots of walks nearby as well as local amenities. the East Wing was very quirky with a log fire which heated the cottage up in no time! Would definitely go back should we be in that part of the world again 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Lovely old house, perfect place for extended family group to stay. The toys and the pool were loved by the children. Great for local rural walks and feels very much in the countryside despite being close to local towns.

Good sized home for a family to stay in. Very clean and we really like having two bathrooms, not that common in Scotland, bathrooms were also updated and modern. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. We really appreciated the washing machine. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, Victor even left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were a little uncomfortable and could do with replacement mattresses. Good house and value.

Stayed a few times now and love the place, fantastic house with loads of space, great location, had a call before arrival informing us of a minor maintenance issue that had just happened, we were offered alternative accommodation but were more than happy to just stay here. Great service, great location and great home, it will be the first place we look for when we're back in the area.

Jamie’s place is absolutely stunning and very well kept, with so much space! Jamie was also a great host providing recommendations ahead of our trip, seem less check in and proactive tips (like where to find more towels). I would recommend anyone visiting Scone or Perth to book in as it was a lovely base for our trip.

Lovely property. Milk in the fridge when we arrived and fresh towels laid out with was a very thoughtful touch. Would stay again.

Beautiful location at the bottom of a valley with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The cottage is very cosy, warm and well equipped. if you want high speed internet and a big tv, shops and bars on your doorstep then maybe this is not for you. If you want to sit by a log fire reading a book or gaze at the stars on a clear night this is the place to stay.

We loved our stay in Whiting Bay. Grant’s house was lovely! When we arrived we were greeted with a gift basket and the stove burner was ready to go! House had everything we needed and plenty of space for 5 adults and a toddler. The location was fab and we loved looking out the bay window each morning and were lucky to see a couple of pods of dolphins passing! Overall, we had a great stay and Grant was an excellent host!

Wilma and Johns house is a lovely property in a beautiful location, the house as everything you need, the place was very clean and tidy, it really felt like home, i will certainly stay here again. Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful home..

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

Stayed here for a long weekend with family. We were very fortunate with the weather so went to Eyemouth a couple of times (15 min drive) and to Pease Bay (3.5 miles away), both worth a visit. If you're not as fortunate with the weather then everything you need is available at the Inn. Caroline was the perfect host, replying to any questions I had almost immediately. I hope to return again and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting this area.

We loved the property. Very spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was a nice touch having the Christmas tree! We also loved the location and enjoyed the tranquility of where the property is located. Hayley was responsive responding to questions and would love to stay again sometime!

Stayed for 3 night over new years to see Stirling, family and surrounding areas. Felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Kids loved it to. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely accommodation as described by the owner. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with very friendly locals. We loved the nearby beautiful beach but steep hill to get to it which would not suit anyone with walking difficulties. Lots to do in nearby towns with our dog and ev charging available nearby in Montrose.

Laura's place is superb with perfect amenities, squeaky clean and not too far from city centre which is easily accessible via nearby tram stop. She's extremely thoughtful providing for so many things one may need throughout the house. We loved the house, location and thoughtfulness behind providing so many things and tourism recommendations

Was on exchange in London and decided to visit Edinburgh, was extremely lucky to stay at Usman’s accommodation. He was extremely welcoming and waited for our arrival on the first day and took the liberty of showing us around the house. The place was super cosy, clean and warm. A proper lovely place to stay that’s not far from the main tourist spots either. Cannot thank Usman enough for being so lovely and ensuring we have everything we need for the stay. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back for a visit to Edinburgh. Would give 6 stars if I could!
